Kingfisher Fish Bar in Eastleigh

Always good chips from here, have tried quite a bit of the menu and have not been disappointed. Tonight the chicken burger was delicious, lovely fresh salad as well. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger which was equally as delicious. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a quick takeaway.

We had some of the most delicious fish and chips we’ve ever had this week! We were served by a very lovely gentleman who was really accommodating to our specific requests, he even made sure that our dog got a taste of something yummy, bless him! And the price was amazing! We will 100% be visiting again and again :]] and recommend to anyone! X x

We decided, for convenience, to try Kingfisher after poor food previously. Although there were a lot of chips they were soggy and greasy. The 'Medium Haddock'was like the end piece of a large one I had last time, maybe it was to create 2 medium??. Not much bigger than a pea fritter, (the pea fritter is on top of the fish in the photo) and was mostly batter! 6.30 on Friday 13th!!

Whilst in Hamble for work, me and colleague decided to take lunch here. We were greeted in a professional manor, however.. the food was so so greasy me and my colleague couldn’t even eat half of the food we order (Medium haddock, medium chips) instead we decided to bin our food we brought and go 3 doors down to co-op, If you DONT want to be disappointed stay away! Possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve had in my life!

Purchased fish and chips and a few extras. Order was processed wrong. Chips were "stodgy",clumped together and smelt funny. The fish was not Cod tasting. Missing items. I think the quality of the chips and oil is the problem. I will not be visiting this place again as there is a better fish and chips shop in Bursedon,. I could not recomment this place to anyone.

Second time I have used this place, the fish and chips are hot and tasty. Tonight I had haddock and it didn't disappoint, and there was loads of chips to accompany it. The guy serving is pleasant and smiley which is always good. Try it, you will be surprised how good it is !?

How can deep frying frozen food go so wrong? Grey chips, raw batter on cod and strange fishy taste to it all.
