The best restaurants serving Default food in Arun South East

Visited with a group of friends, service was good and the food (I had a cheese toastie and coffee) was well cooked and good value.

People seemed nice and it was good we could take our dog in. I ordered fillet of fish on its own as I have a gastric bypass but the fish and batter was so soggy, I was worried it had been warmed in the microwave so only had one mouthful as I was afraid I was going to be ill. The hot chocolate were nice but not enough for us to come back, sorry

Took a break from our journey along the A27, down the road to Littlehampton. The farm shop is only 100 yards. I wondered what the signs meant by brewhouse - beer or coffee and it meant both. It is a cross between a cafe and a pub, bright and airy, a mix or seating. Serving an interesting range of draft local beers in strength and style. Also offering off sales of cans and bottles of beers ciders teas and coffees. We had some food with our very good beer/coffee. Sourdough sandwiches, mine was simple ham and cheese, were delicious. We left with a cake to share that was also very good. The next time we come this way we will take this diversion again.

What a terrible waste of a well positioned place - this is a disgrace to the food and beverage industry. Not a soul in place cares or has the remotest idea about service - they have firmly worked on the principle that ‘there’ll be another one along in a minute’. All because of their position sadly, they survive but avoid this place and support others that care and endeavour to please their customers. I’ve visited this place over many years and seen it get bigger but not once has there been any change in ANY of the staffs take it or leave it attitude - I run several companies and know that if any of my staff behaved the way these arrogant people do they would see the door immediately.

Just had the most delicious Roast dinner and Plaice followed by homemade pudds. Mmmmmm. Everything was perfect , were not rrushed and we were served by very nice staff. Definitely be coming back . Thank you

Location is very good. BUT... the wife and I just had a meal with desert, have come home and are preparing food. The portion size is stingy, small. To put this into context, my wife usually struggles to eat just a normal pub main, but is starving hungry. I had the Chicken Parmigiana for £18. Which works out to be like a small chicken Kiev (no filling) with melted cheese, a tiny amount of salad and some chips, the burgers are equally unimpressive. Come on Manager, you charge the full money, do a decent plate of food!

Food arrived quicker than expect and portions sizes were pretty good, however... The food itself was fairly poor. The Chow Mein was very very oily and also somewhat burnt. The rest of the food was 'fine' but it's certainly one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have had in my life. The inclusion of fortune cookies was a nice touch.

Very busy and clearly short of staff, had to wait an hour for mains. But food was great and staff friendly. The place is looking a little tired and in need of some TLC overall we were happy. Additional , so sorry to see this sight has suffered an terrible fire and is totally destroyed. Hope you get to rebuild soon.

Came home from holiday this evening, not done food shop, spent the day driving, so decided to order a Indian. Ordered received 2 receipts via email one with delivery time and a payment receipt. Waited.... nothing, rang several times no answer, they closed at 10.30. extremely annoyed and very hungry.

My wife and I had a three course meal in the bar and the food, service and staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit

My espresso was excellent, good balanced flavour with hints of chocolate on the after taste. Service was a bit slow but it was lunchtime on a Saturday.
