The best restaurants serving Default food in Arun South East

Jim used to run the cafe in Middleton-on-Sea which is sorely missed, so we decided to see how he was getting on at no.72. - Very well with Sarah still there, and a nice lady called Caroline who was on trial for the day. I hope she stays because she wasn't nervous at all d served the perfect large mug of tea. Our lunches were perfect too. I chatted with other customers who were really friendly. It was almost closing time they were cleaning up but we thought we’d take a chance and grab some chips & a saveloy. £6.10 was steep as the tray had only a few handfuls of chips in it. My partner questioned the price but got no responce. The chips must have been in there all afternoon hey were luke warm and dry. We threw them on the beach for the gulls. Would never eat from there again.

Local Chinese to Church Farm Haven, delicious, everything tasted amazing, very happy. 5 min drive near Co op, would have again. Cash only.

When we arrived the manager was sitting in the restaurant doing paperwork. I explained we had booked,but should never spoke to me directly, just called a member of staff and turned away. There was confusion over what menu we could order from and the waitress said she would bring them out to us when she know which was the right one. Eventually she brought out a snack menu which clearly wasn’t correct. We had to take them back and eventually were given the right one. There was a long wait for our order to be taken and we could have left had the waitress not been so apologetic and pleasant The menu was more pub grub than restaurant standard, and several items were unavailable. Two of out party settled for the lasagna. When it came it was frozen apart from the top. It was not fresh and had not even been microwaved properly, and had to be sent back When I complained the manager eventually spoke to me, and acted as if she didn’t know anything about the problems we had. The food was poor, the attitude and lethargy of the management was worse. This restaurant reflects poorly on the sports club, and wouldn’t survive as a stand alone business

great food, wide menu, consistently good and reasonable value. been here a long time they definitely have the formula right.

Great chinese takeaway. Lovely food. Tofu with black bean sauce, onions and green peppers was great. Smiling service. Delivered on time.

We love this shop the owner is always friendly and polite the fish &chips are always hot and tasty keep it up.And by the way the shop is always spotless.

Excellent variety of breakfast again my boys loved helping theirselves to what they wanted for breakfast, fried bread was awesome, the only thing that was bad was the coffee it was so bitter.

Called in for breakfast and we both opted for the set No. 2 which was tasty and perfectly cooked. Special mention for the coffee which was the best that I have had for a while. Service was good too. I don't usually bother to leave a review for a cafe but felt that I had to this time as it was so good.

Very greasy bland food. The chips even tasted like they were heated up several times. The price was extremely high for what we bought too

Hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever had. Popped in with the in-laws for a fairly late evening dinner and will most certainly do so again when visiting family in the area. Lad on front of house is a great guy, friendly and funny. Food excellent and price not too bad either. Fully recommend this takeaway to all.

With a long wait for food at the Harvester we came across here for lunch instead. Although it took a while for the food to come out the kitchen, my mate’s little boy was happy to amuse himself in the soft play area. When the food turned up we definitely preferred the chicken burger to the hamburger.

Awful place and rude staff, Friend had a party here in which she paid £150 for, Due to two boys who weren’t initially invited threatening to fight, a blond lady decided to kick everyone out an hour before the end. Many people did not have lifts home until an hour later and were left outside while it rained. They refused to let us stand outside the building and forced about 100 people to move down the road. Staff are extremely rude and weird. Looking at people’s bags to ensure no one brought their own drinks and constantly staring at people. The drinks they confiscated from people they told them they’d “give them back” yet as they kicked everyone out no one could get their full bottles of drink back which no one was told in advance about not being able to bring. Staff are just rude especially the lady with the blonde hair , No one’s hosting here again X

This shop was better. The older woman today obviously had a problem with customer service. Spoke to us like a bit of dirt, she was older with glasses. We were regulars no more. The tables and floor were filthy. Well done
