Stayed night 6th August. I received a warm welcome from Sophie in the pub attached. It became clear it was very much a family run affair. The rooms are well laid out, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well stocked. I had a fantastic nights sleep and found a café nearby for breakfast. The pub does some excellent beers and I was able to enjoy a game of pool with the landlord (who even let me win one of the frames). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Not been to The Claremont Inn since 2014, mainly due to not being local but also because we found it dark and unwelcoming. Roll on to 2020 and having heard good reports we decided to try again. Glad we did. Both bars appear to have been refurbished and upgraded. The 'sports' bar is well equipped, bright and airy. The lounge (our choice) still has the wood panelled walls but there is plenty of lighting and good carpeting and furniture. Very nice. The staff and locals, especially the little dog, made us very welcome.

Turning up at the pub, I thought it looked like an old style ‘boozer’. On looking around, you can see how much money has been pumped into the place and the staff are fabulous and friendly. We were staying over for a surprise 40th birthday and the room has was perfect for a nice comfortable stay. The bed was really comfy, which meant that we slept well before our 300 mile trip back home. Nothing was too much trouble and if you want a nice, clean, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable room, I’d definitely recommend a stay here. We will be be back again next time when we visit our friends in the town. The price is great too. Thank you.

Only one night I know , but a lovely clean and quiet room . A special mention for the charming young lady Rebecca who greeted us on our arrival, her professionalism and enthusiasm was outstanding and a credit to the Claremont.

Really nice pub this. Very local to me and very nice venue. For a quiet drink with friends or a big night out too. They tend to have live music going on now and again. Nice outside space too, outside bar also but I've not actually seen that in action.

Spent the night in this real gem of a pub, set just on the edge it Bognor’s conservation area. Warm friendly welcome. Shown to a newly renovated double ensuite room, had a good shower.

One of the more salubrious watering holes in Bognor's town centre. It has two bars and a courtyard, with a central serving area with three counters, one serving each. One bar is quite a cosy area to sit chatting with friends, the other has more entertainments with pool and darts and a large video screen.

First and last visit due to the unwelcome attitude of the staff towards my wheelchair. I was greeted by two bar staff who stated they were not wheelchair friendly as they didn't have a ramp to get over the door threshold. Great! No apology or anything. I am really surprised, especially with the Disability Discrimination Act now in place.

I recall when I have been here in the past, that they have a pool table, and darts board. In a separate room there is a juke box, and some seating. This place had a nice ambience.

Not a bad little boozer, jukebox pool table darts and sky sports, two different areas to sit within the pub one of which has a decent sized projector screen!

Somewhat smaller than the photograph suggests. Probably a bit cramped when full. Four of us had breakfast which was excellent, freshly cooked where possible, finally found someone who can do a runny egg, all of us were impressed and said we would return. I had the American breakfast, jumbo sausage, fried egg, hash browns, bacon, pancakes and maple syrup, with a slice of toast and butter, excellent value at £6.50 plus two teas. I don’t mind the tea bag being left in so I can choose the strength but others might. One colleague had poached eggs on toast the other two a standard breakfast fry up which they said was good. The only problem is that are moving in a weeks time across the river to a busier area. If they continue the high standards there they should do well. Unfortunately as in their current location parking will still not be easy. The current place is very clean and nicely presented, the staff were friendly and helpful, we will definitely give the new location a try.

Lunch with friends in this charming cafe with a lovely menu. I had the moules frites which was amazing, my friends had the scampi and the vegan burger. Very generous portions and delicious food served in a trendy relaxed environment in a prime spot by the river. Staff were lovely, food was fresh and served quickly - would highly recommend 👍🏻.

Lauren the manager and great hostess made me feel so welcome and the atmosphere was so homely. Can’t be more thankful to Lauren. She serves the best Guinness in Arundel

I came here for the first time today and was amazed by the decor and thought the staff were lovely. We had a fabulous mocha, one of the best I have had for a long time. However, after deciding to come back later and get some cakes to take home I really liked the look of the pecan pie and although it was £5 a slice, I thought I would treat myself amongst buying some other cakes. The huge disappointment came when I got the cakes home and saw that the pecan pie slice had been cut into half the size that it was in the cafe - I wondered why the lady in the shop went out the back with the whole pie and now I realise why, so pretty deceptive, cos for £5 I only got a slither. This means that if you bought the whole pie you would need a mortgage! It’s such a shame because I probably won’t go back in there again as I feel I have been cheated.
