The sunset view at The Beach is amazing. Also daytime entertainment watching the watersports. Food and drink selection is great.

Stopped off here as we had time to kill before 2nd doctors appointment. Had a large breakfast and latte service was quick breakfast superb would recommend it food was good and tasty worth the visit and will go again soon.

Loveliest place tor a stop after a beach walk. Decent coffee. I've only been there in the mornings/lunch times but pastries are great, the level of custom suggests the food is popular and the menu looks good. The staff are great and make efforts to find a space for you. Lovely buzzy atmosphere, modern, industrial but comfy decor and of course THE VIEW!

The food was very good, I enjoyed it 👍🏻. The café was very busy at 11:00am we got the last table, window table looking over the beach.

Dog friendly inside and outside which is really great for being by the beach. The food was good, we had pizza and our grandson had fish and chips. The staff hoovered a bit for my liking, maybe a slow day and too many staff but the minute I poured my drink into a glass they took the bottle, the minute my grandson finished with a pot of mayo, they took it, I took the last sip of coffee and they took the cup... A bit too much but hey maybe young and new to role, they are trying their best.

A lovely place with great service and friendly staff. I visited in the evening and sadly the menu is,in my opinion, very limited.

We didn't have food, but the roof top terrace is amazing and a hidden treasure. Do get there early as its always busy.

This place is quite a mixed bag. I think it’s a great addition to the local area and I really like the atmosphere (the outside seating in summer is fab). However, the food is a bit hit and miss. We had a large group meal at weekend and while parts of it were ok (and I emphasise ok), we had to send back the halloumi and pizzas for being over cooked. We also had a long wait for the food and with young children I asked about wifi and the older waitress made a sarcastic comment that they would ‘just have to look at the sea like everyone else’. I thought it was a bit unnecessary (as most places have wifi as standard these days and these were young children). Anyhow, I think we will just stick to drinks and ice cream next time.

Great spot right in the beach! Amazing views out to sea and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Nice coffee, good food and a truly nice place to relax, meet friends and spend time with family. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, great coffee and wonderful views.

We only popped in for coffee, using 'The Shack' hatch around the back. Very good coffee, the only negative was the mass of foamed milk, far too much for a latte. Can't fault the outdoor seating with the fabulous views. Cheerful staff.

Unfortunately a disappointing visit. One member of mature staff particularly made us very uncomfortable. We spent about £100 and would have ordered desserts and more drinks but weren't happy with how we were being treated. Both chicken burger orders were dry and very greasy and I didn't eat mine. No one came to check if everything was OK after serving the food even though the cafe wasn't busy. We felt like we were treated as a hassle rather than welcomed. We didn't want to engage with the rude member of staff as simply asking for a knife and fork and some burger sauce was met with a scowl so we paid and left. My mum visits this cafe regularly and brings all her friends but she's said after this last visit she won't be going back in a hurry. It's a shame as we'd been looking forward to visiting and the guy who served us was great, but the other lady had a horrible attitude. I think that this member of staff had an issue with one of our dogs (who is very well behaved) so decided to be stand offish rather than have a pleasant conversation, not professional at all.

We went in the evening to the Bingo night. Absolutely brilliant. Five girls and me , great atmosphere , good lager and a really hilarious evening was had by all. Food looked delicious , it was warm and cosy , the staff were excellent, the seating ok , only there two hours and the Bingo was compered really well. I will return and sample the menu and probably sit outside as during the day and in the sun it will be amazing. We had a slight accident when the bingo pen leaked onto the table but the staff were so good and didn't worry at all. Oh by the way we won the last game

Great place. Stopped for a drink but stayed for a quick lunch. Delicious sandwich and chips! Staff extremely friendly. Will definitely visit again when we are in Littlehampton again!

Lovely food and great service considering how busy the place was. There are some things on the menu they don't serve anymore, maybe they should update the menu. Nevertheless we were very well satisfied with it all.

It's a great place to grab a coffee. The place is buzzing, and all the diners seemed happy. My fish finger sandwich was delicious. The staff are numerous and friendly.

Regulars here with my daughter who sings at the open mic nights. A fabulous place, great food and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Louis deserves an extra mention though, he is a credit to your staff team!

Been here several times and the events they hold are 10/10. Always a great and fun atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is great and the view is Gorgeous.

Just been to the Christmas party evening at the Beach. The Christmas dinner was lovely, all very fresh and the service was very good. Really enjoyable evening.

I had one of the best mochas I've ever had in my life here. It was fantastic. Also enjoyed the arment croissant.

Great location for coffee or late afternoon drink. Food is now consistently poor and service standards have also fallen. We have visited frequently but have stopped eating here.

As I walked through the door on this dark, wet, and windy October day. I was met with a blast of warm, firstly baked air. A smile from the young lady behind the counter busying herself with a customer, a pleasantness beaming from her eyes. In my lackluster damp state, she could see I needed a place to sit, immediately offering me ‘to grab a seat’ with the add service of ‘I’ll be over in just a minute.’ Her pleasant tone reassuring, instantly knowing the customer needs. I smiled and duly nodded at her request. Slowly walking around the counter to be given the choice of an array of window seating; each one giving, albeit dark views of the sea at this time of seven in the morning. Having got myself comfortable, within minutes the pleasant smile of the young lady greeted me again, armed with a menu… With coffee ordered, it wasn’t long before my bright red cup of great tasting coffee appeared at my table. Again, this young lady showing an air of grace and fantastic sense of good customer service with her can do attitude. Her warm glow asked, ‘is there was anything else you need’. Eager to have my stay enjoyable. Armed with my order. The big beach breakfast was set in motion in the kitchen… With breakfast now seen heading my way some 10-15 minutes later, I prepared myself. A new waitress had delivered my breakfast, again, this young lady was confident and pleasant in her professionalism. Placing the plate in front of me. Smiling like she wanted to be there, happy to be of service. My experience so far, standing out from the crowd of many a choice of café with these of young lady setting the standard of what should be… My breakfast was presented very well, looking like it had been cooked with love. The taste of each ingredient, dancing its flavours around on my taste buds, good quality food, cooked well, a winning combination. After finishing breakfast, then having a brief chat with one of the owners, I sat and enjoy the delicate tunes of the music playing in the background. All in all a great relaxing experience, and one I would highly recommend to anyone wanting an early morning treat. A welcoming place, with great staff, great food, great views, and an intriguing décor. Fantastic

No substitutions on the breakfast menu (I imagine that rule runs throughout the menu), and no mention of it until you try to order. It's an old-style restaurant rip-off whereby you end up paying for food you don't get and don't eat. I can't remember the last time I've not had a value-for-value substitution for my eggs. The breakfast was average; there is much better in Littlehampton and Rustington. We shan't be eating at The Beach again, unless the place changes its ways.

Lovely place with lovely sea view. Nice comfortable seated tables by the windows. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Service is excellent. Food is nice. Coffee very nice! Breakfast, as lunch too expensive. Friend and I wanted to sit indoors by the windows. However, so many dogs, we went outside. In thing to be "dog friendly" but I don't want dogs where I'm eating. Unhygienic. Im allergic to them and in the past, in another cafe, I was bitten by dog fleas and had antibiotics! Put dogs and owners in separate area to themselves. Otherwise, a lovely place, very nice staff, lovely view.

I don't agree with the service charge being automatically added to the bill. Few people are going to decline it out of politeness. It creates an awkward end to the meal.

We visited the Beach Cafe this morning with some friends. The service and coffees were excellent and we found the service provided by LOUIS outstanding. We hope to visit again on our next trip to Rustington? Many thanks.

Food and drink around 25% surcharged on what you’d usually expect to pay. Possibly this is explained by the cost of the view of the pebble beach. Much of the seating is high stools with backrests aka: Come in, order, eat, exit … don’t get so comfy that you stay seated after you’ve finished. Odd mixture of decor, especially above where Chrystal maze industrial zone meets plastic gardeners weekly. Seems overstaffed (but friendly and attentive) but maybe it was shift changeover, but this might also have accounted for the surcharged food and drink.

Nice if a little on the pricey side. Service was good however no kiddy menu which is strange as it's next to aplay park

Positives…great location, lots of staff, lots of customers. Negative…I should have known I was in trouble when the barista shouted at the guy on the till ‘make sure you ask them if they want small, medium or large flat white’. I just wanted a short, strong coffee and what I got was a large, milky, coffee flavoured beverage. You might think 2 stars is a bit mean but do the owners care? Look at the replies to all the reviews……I couldn’t find one.

Great relaxing place right on the beach with indoor and outdoor seating and an open roof terrace. Food tastes great, but some portions could be a little larger. The smoothies are fantastic!

We had a lovely family gathering at the Beach cafe today. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The view is amazing and was made even better by the sunshine 🌞

The food was bland and disappointing in comparison to how described in menu. I had the beef brisket wrap which was no better quality than one you would find in a supermarket. The Beach ‘slaw’ was just red cabbage. A couple of limp lettuce leaves and a small amount of beef brisket. Frozen chips.

The staff seem to have an attitude. Very poor customer service skills. They now charge a 10% service charge which is optional but customer service is non existent. The menu has changed significantly and is no longer very substantial for a proper meal. Asked for some water and told to get it myself. The light above our table was not working the bulb had broken. The wine choice is poor the food is ok. Chips not cooked fresh just kept warm under pass. Not a great experience. Staff need a huge amount of training regarding customer service, polishing cutlery and being flexibke and adaptable to customer needs.

Really annoyed staff wouldn't seat me at one of the nice tables by the window as more people might come and they would have to separate the tables. Utter nonsense. Went their to have breakfast and coffee so would have spent the same as three people turning up for coffee anyway. People turing up on their own who probably need to feel included more than anyone be prepared to feel excluded. I shan't ever return. Disgraceful.

I've taken my mum here many times, when she comes down from London to visit,, and we've really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, on our last visit on the 23rd September, the food other than chips, was really disappointing. No staff around to talk too as they were obviously busy. Sadly, my mum has been put off now, and won't go back. We had nachos which we'd had a few times before, but it was cold, and inedible, and the halloumi fries were over cooked, and cold. Tea, and chips were nice though. Oh, and there were no milkshakes which she really wanted. So, overall, not a nice meal experience.

Great location, lovely staff, good vibe, just don’t order fish and chips, more like batter and chips with cheap hard peas. Other food looked very good.

We have been to The Beach Cafe many times and its always been a great experience so chose to hire the outside area for a special occasion. Luca & the team were amazing, everything was so well organised, the food delicious and nothing too much trouble. We will be back again soon. :)

We live locally but wanted a nice place for a 40th birthday celebration. The location and semi private terrace area was excellent. We had a very nice barbecue and drinks on arrival. The team led by Luca were amazingly friendl and competent. Thank you very much guys :-)

Really quaint and relaxing coffee shop, Bar and small restaurant with lots of seating for dining and sofas for having a chat and a drink. Reasonable prices for a Seaside

The sausage and bacon bap we had was excellent 2 sausages and lots of bacon. Really enjoyed it and the view over a lovely blue sea was super. Excellent service too.

So we rock up just before lunchtime, old friends expecting to have a great catch-up and delicious food, how wrong we’re we! The server engaged with us as we were unable to decide what to eat, she was pleasant and made different suggestions. So you’d think that a Fish Finger sandwich, a gluten free smoked salmon sandwich, and scrabbled eggs on toast would be easy enough to order, but no! Apparently we could have bacon, sausages sandwiches but not smoked salmon or eggs on toast! So were they out of salmon and eggs we asked, no! Could not be done apparently! We were astonished! It just wasn’t the fact they refused to accommodate us, the blatant rudeness of their staff was unacceptable! And we would have appreciated it if the server who engaged with us had mentioned the time restrictions whilst she was having a giggle with us! This establishment was far from busy so to refuse to serve our order because we were minutes over the permitted time to serve sandwiches or toast is a very poor excuse. Jamie, I’m assuming you are still the owner? A bit of retaining wouldn’t go amiss, after all it’s your name and reputation that’s tainted.

Great atmosphere, lovely place to sit and enjoy drinks and ice creams. A special thanks to Izzy she was very accommodating with my children choosing ice creams, Made us feel at ease so definitely family friendly!

This should have easily been a 5 star review, friendly staff, excellent location, great food and overly expensive. Problem is everything takes sooooooooo long. Not massively busy early doors this morning and a 40 minute wait for a bacon sarnie. God only knows what a busy lunch would be. But.... friendly staff, excellent location, great food and not overly expensive!

We sat inside the bar. This place is really expensive. I guess you pay for the location... £14 for fish & chips that were presented like fish fingers!!!. The £4.20 coconut smoothie did not taste of coconut at all. The pulled pork nachos were so boring & no tasty at all. As soon as we finished our food, the plates were taken away & were asked if we wanted the bill!! we felt pushed to leave, so that they had the table available... at those prices & the quality of food was very ordinary.

Dry sausages, missing toast and terrible coffee if that’s your thing you will love this place but we will not be rushing back

Really chilled place. Right on the beach. Lovely views. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Lots of surfing items on the walls, good music playing quietly. Definately will be returning.

We were with family and wanted a booth to accommodate 4 persons. The initial waitress offered a table with bar stools. Not comfortable for the order persons in the group. Another waitress was asked and she went the extra mile to help us. From then onwards the service was exceptional. Would we return most definitely. There is a service charge just to know.

We went there for coffee after parkrun. Parking isn't easy on a busy Saturday morning, but this is a bright cafe with a nice view of the beach. The coffee and cakes are well worth the trip.

Trendy surf style restaurant and bar right on the beach at Littlehampton. Superb sea views and easy parking nearby. The menu is modern - pizzas, wraps, burgers and salads/healthy bowls all presented well and particularly tasty. Fairly priced. Drinks menu quite decent with wine list...

Right on seafront in Littlehampton, service inside is good but if you sit outside it can be a bit slow but this is generally because they are so busy ,food was OK and not expensive
