The best restaurants serving Default food in Lancaster North West

We had a happy family and set meal B so 4 different dishes there was 0 taste to the whole meal wouldn't go there again. Oh sorry salt pepper chips were the tastiest thing on menu

Delivery time kept being pushed back

I ordered izza and chips and I was hoping for something better than your standard takeaway pizza but sadly it was pretty bog standard. The taste was fine, the chips were fine and the delivery arrived with about 1 minute to spare before it was late.

We hadn’t booked a table but the staff quickly sorted us out , the food was ordered and arrived quickly and was very tasty , we had Haddock and chips . And it was reasonably priced.

As with previous reviews we got caught out with the scam car park fees, there are no clear signs, why would you be looking for one? It’s a pub car park, as a tour guide who travels the U.K constantly I can’t think of another pub that operates a car park like this, to add insult to injury the food was distinctly average. My advice is if you are going for the Isle of Man ferry, eat on the boat and avoid this blatant scam.

The Thursday quiz host is amazing, ive seen him around lancaster and would have my vote for DJ of the year. The way he talks just screams a quality education in Lancasters bar and club scene! If I was having a wedding he'd be my priest, best man and wedding entertainment in one!

Fast, simple and tasty. One of my favs on the university campus.

We were staying in a lodge nearby and googled Sunday lunches, this place is in a lovely spot, we parked near the level crossing, had a walk on the beach, over the hill to a cafe on a farm then walked along the canal path. It’s a very old pub, 1500’s? it’s quirky with low ceilings and little private nooks. Sunday roast was excellent as was their apple & raspberry crumble, staff were friendly and prices reasonable. Important to us dog friendly and we treated our pooch to a ‘Woofchester’ fish dinner she wolfed it down. Would recommend.

Bought online, pizza tasted awesome, best I've tasted in ages

A pleasant small pub with high quality ales, impressively decorated and decent entertainment on the Friday night I visited.

We sat in the restaurant, Choose the happy hour all you can eat menu , reasonably priced.The starter , poor slightly overcooked , not homemade definitely frozen not very tasty, similar to the frozen selection at Aldi . The main was a lot better ,special fried rice was ok , the sweet and sour chicken was ok , typical takeaway food .. the noodles were ok .

Lovely atmosphere in here. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was both interesting and tasty. Dog friendly in the bar area too, where you can also eat.
