The best restaurants serving Default food in Lancaster North West

Popped in today for a lite bite and wasn’t disappointed Had salt and pepper sea food basket Normally it comes with fries but I asked if I could have just salad with it. Absolutely delicious Friendly staff Great chefs Good new system for ordering in place Thanks

Very welcoming and great Sunday lunch. Super dog friendly and great staff. Always call when going past on our way to the Lakes.

Enjoyed my meal. Relatives dine here weekly and highly recommend. Apparently phone orders and collection are the best option for top quality without waiting

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH. BOOKED A TABLE, ONLY TO GET THERE TO FIND THEY HAD SAT ANOTHER PARTY THERE. THEN LANDLADY SAT OUR PARTY OF 9 AT A BADLY LIT,COLD UNINVITING TABLE. SHE EVEN COMMENTED HERSELF HOW BAD IT WAS! NO APOLOGY, NOTHING! THEN NEARLY TWO HOURS FOR A LUKE WARM MEAL ONE OF WHICH MY HUSBAND FETCHED FROM THE KITCHEN HIMSELF AFTER THE FORTH TIME OF ASKING.MOST OF THE MEALS WERE INEDIBLE. ALMOST AS MUCH FOOD WENT BACK AS WAS EATEN ANY DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE SERVICE WHICH WAS NON EXISTENT. WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE THE LANDLORD ENDED UP SERVING OUR PARTYS MEALS IN WHAT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS WORKMAN STAINED CLOTHING! WON’T BE RETURNING AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVEN FOR A DRINK!

I visited with six children to meet a parent of two of them. The parent ended up very angry and abusive. The behaviour of the parent was very scary to say the least. Tom the manager and Kieran was amazing. They looked after us all and nothing was too much trouble. They definitely went above and beyond their job. Thank you guys you were brilliant xx

I can here with my 3 year old granddaughter. Ordered her a kids meal, 4 vegan nuggets, about 10 chips and a small amount of beans...£6.00.!! Disgusting.!! Then I had to order a drink which didn't come with meal, a small carton of apple juice, and extra £2.00.!! 8 pound in total, and the elderly lady behind the counter, very rude.!!! Park is beautiful cafe is work than a motorway service station.!! Never again.!! By the way the plate in the picture is tea saucer size.!!

A bit chaotic, wanted a bacon and egg bun it was 1135, sorry egg on breakfast menu which is finished. I asked isn't bacon on bfast menu, yes but that's all day. Bonkers or what! Try soup, sorry tomato not ready and pea and ham still warming. Ended up with cake and coffee. Hopeless! Staff fine, service slow. Not a good experience

Terrible service. We were told when ordering that it would be a 45 to 60 min wait. We waited 1h &30 mins I was trying to call them and no one answered the phone. We live local to the Chinese and when it eventually arrived it was cold we had to reheat the lot not good. Plenty of Chinese restaurants/takeaways in our area will not be using shengs again.

Best Chinese by far! By only gripe is spare ribs are served broken up unless you get mixed starter they are not ribs but joints of meat!!!

On an incredibly busy weekend (the Vintage by the Sea event and glorious weather) there were 2 young staff on; one was school age and both had only 2 months" experience they told us. The queue was long and continuous and they were really struggling. To cap matters off the lattes we had were pretty awful, worst I've had from Costa. Not the fault of the young staff but where was the duty manager who should have been there getting stuck in to support them? Wouldn't be surprised if they quit after that day if that's the level of support they get.

Man that works there called my baby ‘that’. Asked me to move the car seat over as he wasn’t comfortable walking past ‘that’ with 2 plates of food, but he still had to walk past HIM anyway, just with the car seat on his left instead of his right. Won’t be going back lol, he was rude and the female staff members didn’t know where to look when it happened.

Excellent customer service and portion sizes huge, definitely worth a visit. The pancakes are lovely, coffee was like a soup bowl!! Amazing, well done

Das reguläre nero- Programm wird hier geboten. Die Bedienungen sind höflich und freundlich, doch muss etwas Zeit einkalkuliert werden. Das alte Gebäude verleiht dem Café einen netten Charme

The best Chinese food we have ever had. Everything so far has been so tasty and generous portions. The staff are lovely too and the shop looks immaculately clean.

Not been in for years. What a shock, unkempt and in a poor state of decor, such a shame . 1 person working the bar, it felt like they had walked in off the street to pull pints. There are no words of encouragement to make this a positive review. Such a shame for what was a thriving pub.
