Ordered from the mcdonalds app. Food was missing meaning one of us missed out on food. Phoned the store and was answered by a rude unhelpful staff member. No resolution and will now take 15 days through user eats to get money back. Poor customer service
We got pizza delivery as we have had many times. The pizza tonight was dry with hardly any topping which was only in the centre of the pizza. Will not get delivery again. Better to go and collect then do your own quality check!
Had a fantastic dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing, best meal we have had in a while! Lovely atmosphere, would recommend.
I ordered delivery but after 2 hours and multiple phone calls the food never arrived. No apology was given for complete failure on their part. Never again.
Avoid , ordered a 1/2 pounder smash burger at £5.90 it was absolutely disgusting two dry beef patties with one slice of cheese on a burnt black bun no sauce or salad either.. safe to say this and ended up in the bin I used to love this place back when it was abras pizza food was miles out of there league , I certainly won’t be back wasted my money and left hungry !!!
We fancied a change so thought a lovely family meal/takeaway from Dixy Chicken! Never again!!! We ordered a family meal to which 1 pizza was missing. Chicken tasted undercooked! All the other food was cold. When the missing pizza turned up 30mins later, this was also cold. Will never be ordering from here again! Absolute waste of money!
I was dubious about trying as I didn't think it would be for me, but am I glad I did. 100% converted. It tasted amazing. The ice cream curls were delicious. Definitely go back.
Lovely porridge, and brilliant friendly service from Darren and Angie (Ann?), made such a difference to our day, what a pleasure a smile and a cheerful welcome make, thank you.
Again one of our granddaughters fancied KFC. Again, service and attitude of member of staff was dreadful. She enjoyed the kFC chicken and popcorn chicken meal but doesn’t make up for poor staffing again.
Old and badly designed store with more miserable looking security guards then miserable looking staff. You have to walk 5 miles to get in to the store past a narrow corridor as entrance is right at the other end of store. You are told not to enter through the tills by angry staff and when you have finally got in to the store you can not get out if you have bought nothing as you are gated in and the alcohol is in locked glass cupboards. You then wait for 20 minutes to be bossed about by a talking till that never works as most of the staff tills have gone. Feels like being in Alcatraz and you are treated like you have done something wrong rather then a valued customer so not exactly a pleasurable shopping experience so now shop at Asda.

First time in a while at this location, all i wanted was breakfast and a drink. No drink included in my breakfast meal which had a nice egg but rubbery sausage and almost inedible bacon, with the cheapest drink at almost £2 i would have been better going to another venue even with kids eat free it was an expensive breakfast for what you got, this "Brew" drinks section did not give refills and just seemed to be trying to be a fancy coffee stand without any fancyness on display at all. I won't be rushing back, greggs just outside seems a better bet if im in the area.
We booked a table in the bar for 3 adults for sunday lunch. We were told the restaurant was unavailable as there was a wedding being held there.
When we arrived the entire wedding party was in the rather small bar. We were told to "find a table", which was a surprise as we'd actually booked a table in advance.
There were no tables, apart from a couple of high benches which aren't exactly suitable for an octogenarian with mobility issues.
The wedding party was very rowdy and as the bar was packed, we got pushed several times by impatient wedding guests (staff and guests not wearing masks) trying to join the huge queue for the bar.
When we told bar staff there were no tables we were told to "wait a few minutes while we move the wedding party into the restaurant".
We found a spare chair at the end of a table where another couple told us they'd booked their table for 12.30pm and had been waiting 30 minutes to be served.
We waited another 10 minutes and the bar got more crowded so we gave up and found a pub where we had a lovely lunch.
We will not be returning to the Sea Hotel in future after that terrible experience.
Popped in today to see pharmacist, could not have been less interested, didn't offer advice, no recommendations, seemed like I was interrupting him doing whatever else it was. Absolutely terrible service, if this is where you are sent rather than hospitals or GP surgeries then it's and absolute waste of you time!
