Morrisons Jarrow Cafe in South Tyneside

First time in a while at this location,all i wanted was breakfast and a drink.No drink included in my breakfast meal which had a nice egg but rubbery sausage and almost inedible bacon, with the cheapest drink at almost £2 i would have been better going to another venue even with kids eat free it was an expensive breakfast for what you got, this "Brew" drinks section did not give refills and just seemed to be trying to be a fancy coffee stand without any fancyness on display at all. I won't be rushing back, greggs just outside seems a better bet if im in the area.

35 mins to receive our breakfast. I counted 5 tables being used so what was the hold up. Even took best part of 15 minutes for our hot drinks to be served up. By the time our meals arrived we had already drank our tea and coffee. Would have been nice to have them together. I mean what was the hold up that 2 breakfast and a tea and coffee should take so long. And when it finally arrived it wasn't the best. Im just glad you weren't busy because I dread to think how long it would have taken.

Very dissatisfied with the food we received. My husband had inedible bacon . Very hard. Must have been reheated. My baked potato was cold.

I haven’t been to the cafe for a while but thought we’d give it a go since it had been updated. Couldn’t order food at the order point, had a trainee take my order. It took a while but he was training, that’s fine. Waited for a long time for my drink, food came, it was cold and came without cutlery. When it came, I had to go back and ask for a clean fork as it was caked in someone else’s dinner. Don’t recommend.

Me and my dad come here weekly for a cuppa and sometimes some food. for the past couple months the service every single time has been absolutely awful. staff are miserable and rude. they aren’t happy to help and just all round awful. my dad got a full english a couple weeks ago and asked if i came with toast, for her to reply she doesn’t know! staff training is definitely needed as not a single staff member is happy to do their job, complain to eachother infront of customers and just today, as i’m writing this, i got ignored while ordering our food/drinks as another staff member rudely interrupted and started a conversation with her. Absolute shambles, this place used to be such an enjoyable environment.

Tried the cafe in morrisons before doing our shopping, wish we hadn't! - wife ordered and paid for a sandwich and crisps combo that we paid for then found out it wasn't on menu - staff member ended up going to the sandwich section in the shop and gave that to my wife minus any crisps or apology - terrible service

Visited here last week after doing the weekly shop. Was impressed with the level of quality at the price point, will definately make this a more regular thing!

The person working was very kind and did not get stressed at all so I just say hats off to her for being as nice as she was. We ordered 2 things and she got right on them as soon as we ordered so it was such fast service I would definitely recommend and obviously come back when ever I have the chance to it was absolutely great. Such a nice calm environment in a supermarket! And the drinks we ordered a large hot chocolate which was like £2.75 and a strawberry frappe for £2.25 so quite affordable at the same Time as it being ver delicious!
