You have to pay to park your car at this restaurant, the restaurant could be a lot nicer , staff ok, food not up to a good standard in our opinion, tables need to be cleaner ,toilets an absolute disgrace we are just coming out of covid for heavens sake clean up your act,

Visited on a whim with a friend after seeing the 3 for £10 cocktail sign outside. An absolutely beautiful interior, very friendly, polite and helpful staff. You can mix and match the cocktails which arrived quickly and high quality. Then after 5pm there is an complimentary cheese board which is amazing and of the highest quality and standard. I do not understand how the place wasn't packed. Cocktail deals and free cheese my idea of heaven. Would highly recommend.

I came here for tea tonight and they did not disappoint. Large expansive menu with lots to choose from. We were served by a lovely young ginger girl who was happy to answer any of my questions about the menu, she was a credit to your team. Our food came promptly and piping hot, the food being absolutely lovely, all 4 meals we had. The same lady that served us on the bar came over and checked everything was fine with our meals which is a good touch to the pub. 10/10 will definitely come back :)

Called in here for a quick cuppa and also had an orange and chocolate muffin. Cafe airy and light but noisy with children running about and crying. Would visit again when quieter.

first time we have visited, came for sunday lunch. we had pre booked a table, but it wasnt that busy. we were shown to our table, but took awhile before the drinks order was taken. we also waited a few minutes before the menu was brought to us. there was 3 choices of meat, beef pork or chicken. we opted for the beef. the meal was served hot and nicely presented, with a gravy boat so you could pour on your own. the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The meal itself was very nice and for £7 we enjoyed it. Yes I would return again.

Lovely porridge, and brilliant friendly service from Darren and Angie (Ann?), made such a difference to our day, what a pleasure a smile and a cheerful welcome make, thank you.

We booked a table in the bar for 3 adults for sunday lunch. We were told the restaurant was unavailable as there was a wedding being held there. When we arrived the entire wedding party was in the rather small bar. We were told to "find a table", which was a surprise as we'd actually booked a table in advance. There were no tables, apart from a couple of high benches which aren't exactly suitable for an octogenarian with mobility issues. The wedding party was very rowdy and as the bar was packed, we got pushed several times by impatient wedding guests (staff and guests not wearing masks) trying to join the huge queue for the bar. When we told bar staff there were no tables we were told to "wait a few minutes while we move the wedding party into the restaurant". We found a spare chair at the end of a table where another couple told us they'd booked their table for 12.30pm and had been waiting 30 minutes to be served. We waited another 10 minutes and the bar got more crowded so we gave up and found a pub where we had a lovely lunch. We will not be returning to the Sea Hotel in future after that terrible experience.

Not a good place for people with sensory processing disorders or autism, or for those simply wanting a relaxing morning coffee. The music was blaring and I couldn't drown it out with headphones or white noise at high volume. The design of the building is open plan and echoey so the music doesn't need to be that loud to carry. I asked a girl behind the counter to turn it down just a bit and she looked at me as though I was asking for the earth and said she'd have to ask her supervisor. I added that it was driving me crazy. She then resumed chatting to her other colleagues behind the counter, no follow-up discussion about my request. This was at around 08:45. Who wants to listen to oppressively loud music blasting at that time of morning? And why do you need to discuss such a simple matter with a supervisor?
