The best restaurants serving Default food in Guisborough Redcar and Cleveland North East

When we come to the UK from Canada to visit family we always come to Tocketts Mill and the staff and food has always been great!

Great little restaurant, fab service and staff. Celebrated my son in laws birthday recently, would highly recommend.

In for the rugby. Cracking afternoon

We asked on arrival what time they closed so we could come back for something after our walk, were told half 3/4. Got back at 2:50 and they were closing up despite us and other customers wanting to be served. Met a very disappointed gentlemen outside just after they’d shut. There is a sign to say they may shut early due to the weather, but when it’s very short showers between long spells of sun, and you have customers wanting to be served the weather shouldn’t affect the closing time. Felt like they just wanted to go home early. Wouldn’t go back as you can’t guarantee they’ll be open.

Iced tea was awful and blueberry muffin was ok. The seats and tables were dirty.

Amazing staff and beautiful food. Staff attended to my dad and I at 12 midnight and happily server us drinks throughout the night. Paul and Cameron were top lads and were a good chat at the bar! :-)

I think the delicious lunch box is the most suitable choice. There is a lot of food in it, and it is very fragrant and delicious. One portion is enough for me and my sister. The boss lady gave me a free shrimp paste.

Its now called the Artizan. Its a lovely place to have a drink or a cocktail 🍸 😋

harry the bartender was an excellent worker, he confirmed all music request and met all of mine and my friends individual needs. i would highly recommend

Lovely little shop. Had a couple of nice visits this week, perfect drinks and food on both occasions. Staff are super friendly. Perfect place to escape with a book!

bought 2 shandy’s, and cost me 13 pound absolute rip of would not return, surely these prices are incorrect for 2 shandy’s!!

As a group of friends we regularly visited but then stoped for a while as although food good we felt the menu should have changed they also changed to no cash which did not sit well with my friends. We decided to return Friday as noted menu had changed however it is clear that there are new people running the cross keys so you can use cash. It was really quite empty for a Friday whereas previously it had been full. The service was good but the menu is lacking not enough varied choice and only one choice for vegetarian vegan. Clearly not cooked from scratch. Chips frozen and pies bought in. I had the duo chicken and have never seen such tiny amounts of chicken on a plate. In fact we all said portions were small. I left hungry. For £18.00 it was not good value for money. I did too but that was for the service from the two young people who served us at our table. Disappointed and did wonder if others felt the same and that was the reason why it was not busy. Cross keys need to offer more variation on their menu and larger potions please. Won’t be returning

This afternoon my wife was fed up with me and told me that my face was tripping me up. She said she was taking me to Costa coffee in Guisborough.As soon as I walked through the door i turned my frown upside-down The staff in Costa are amazing as is the coffee. If ever I am having a bad day, I make my way to Costa even if I don't fancy coffee. My children also go in for drinks and Claire and the team always make them welcome. A five star team that go the extra mile.
