Came here as part of a large group for dinner and the staff were very helpful accommodating us. We ordered a range of curries and it would be fair to say the food ranged between ok and good. Not outstanding or consistent which I would expect for what was a reasonably expensive Indian. The special curries were better than the more basic ones on the menu. One of us complained that here tasted of Heinz tomato soup! Overall it was ok if you are in the area and fancy a curry but not a place worth travelling too. Came to about £45 per person for mains starters and a few beers.
Long established Italian restaurant serving home made dishes with a good selection of food for all tastes and dietary needs. Great list of wines and beers all reasonably priced.
Live karaoke singers on Friday and Saturday, then after 11pm which the venue turns into a late night 80s/90s disco.
Not a large venue so recommend booking in advance. Not at ground level so will need to use stairs to access restaurant.
All in all well worth a visit if you are in or around Borough.
Fabuloso pequeño restaurante justo al lado del mercado de Borough. Pequeños platos increíbles que yo y amigos compartimos junto a algunas burbujas. Platos realmente inusuales pero tan sabrosos.
We've been to Tas Pide a few times now but this last experience was absolutely amazing. The food is simply delicious. Feels like it was made in the warmth of a home. Dessert was perfect. Service is great too. We'll definitely be back 🤗❤️
A review of our meal at Rabot on 7th January 2023 - booked via OpenTable in September 2022 . hmmm where to start ...
Well as the restaurant apparently closed in September and Open Table elected not to advise us.
So as the booking experience was appallingly bad
And the meal was non-existent
I cannot really review or recommend somewhere I was sadly not able to go can I?!
OpenTable asking for a review for the booking we were unable to enjoy was the invisible icing on a non-existent cake.
I appreciate being able to order healthy food and feed my baby without feeling self-conscious. Leon fits the bill. Most have a step.free entrance including this branch. I sat, ate, fed my baba in comfort.
Comfy café, not overcrowded during working hours but also not empty. The place is cozy and well located in the OXO building. The air is conditioned, maybe even a bit too strong, but satisfactory for a short stay, pleasant music at an acceptable level is being played. Baby chairs are available if necessary.
There's a single (1) unisex toilet, not very tidy but the bowl itself is apparently being kept clean and there's everything one would need, including a baby tray and supports for disabled people.
Great small theatre venue that often acts as a stepping stone for acts to transition to the West End.
Undergoing significant renovations as of April 2025 but theatre space still doing shows
