The naan was soggy and the chicken butter was very sweet never try again

I love this place! Friendly people, good well-priced food. Reminds me of my student days and that's who it looks to be aimed at.

A little taste of amazing! We were welcomed as soon as we opened the door. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Mixed Tandoori Grill. Both were amazing! Service was on point and the food was hot.

£9 for the lunch special which is a tiny portion of rice and curry along with dry naan bread. Not worth it at all, they put zero passion into the food and taste was bland at best. The speed with which the food was ready was concerning, it took about 3 minutes to prepare which explains the bland taste. If you’re local and looking for Indian food go somewhere else.

Convenient as located in the center of London. Not much space inside, but was enough for us. Dishes came quick and we enjoyed all of them

The portion sizes weren't the biggest but they filled us up , so no complaints the food was very tasty. Sorry about the photos , we took them in the middle of eating 😂 because we forgot .Thank you for the food very good 👍😊

very nice staff but main problems is the portion size. £7-8 sounds like a cheap curry for london prices, but that's because its half a normal serving size! had to stop at the shop to get a snack on the way home!

Just down from Elephant and Castle tube. I had time to kill so popped in. Quite a varied menu with various tandoori dishes. Standard BIR mains on offer at a standard £8.99 for chicken varieties. I went for the chicken balti for a quid more with a couple of chappatis Service was super fast. Decor is very basic with open take away style kitchen. I ate in. Nice sized portion with plenty of meat. The chicken tikka was reasonably well marinated. Biggest issue hence only 3 stars was that it was massively overseasoned. The overpowering saltiness obscured every other taste unfortunately. There’s no way a chef would do this so can only assume salt was added to an already salty base sauce.

Good Indian food, open until 2.30 and very reasonably priced. I have brought many a friend here and converted them. Never had a disappointing meal

Been there once, they charge me 2.50£ for a coffe, all good till now. Been there second time, stuff talking in their language in front of you and laughing giving the impression that they might be talking about you, asked for the same coffe again and this time was 2.99£. By the way i just took the second coffe to convince myself that is not worth and it's not, just pure tasteless hot water, I don't recommend this place!

Consistently Tasty Food. Excellent Value For Money. Friendly staff. Great when grabbing a munch on the go. Very Convenient if your hungry but dont have a lot of time. More of a Indian Cafe than a restaurant. Environment could be questioned, had doubts re:hygiene but in the 8+ yrs I've visited, NEVER had an issue. AT ALL

This is the most wonderful place. The food is excellent, and the staff very friendly. I cannot suggest one meal in preference to another, as asked to do in the box below, since everyone makes their own choice. We had spinach (biryani?) naan bread, raita yoghurt, and it was excellent. For the entire meal we paid £9 each which is very reasonable.

Food is underrated here. I didn't see anyone eating here, but when i tried the food it was awesome. The service here was also on point.

Great if you love a mouth full of cloves.

Staff is quite rude and they try to trick you, you’re gonna end up paying more. Food is alright but I have taken take-away food a few times and always ordered exactly the same thing, and every time I have been charged a different amount, FOR EXACTLY THE SAME THING! And yet when I tell them they would mock and ask me "how much you wanna pay this time?"… Definitely not getting more food there! 😡

Good value. Friendly service. London should have more informal Indian restaurants like this, where you can get in and out in a short while, eat alone if you wish and not have a rigamarole. It’s a cheap eats place, not fancy dates. Food tasty.

This is the worst restaurant you can visit. Worst food and service. Staff is mannerless and rude. They try to cheat you by serving wrong food and then asking whole money.

Worst food, worst service, worst behaviour. Don’t eat or order here. We ordered a thali with 5 items, they gave 4 items only (as per 21st item in menu picture). and said that 5th item is included in one of them. And when arguing about their menu, all the staff started fighting with us

We had dinner there . The food was very tasty and the portions were good. The service was great. The price is very nominal. The food is better than Spices of India restaurant which is not only expensive but the portion were too small and taste was not good at all. So try Chilliest Tandoori We love to go there again. Must try once to get the taste of Indian food.

Great food and quick and friendly service. Enjoyed our visit, though slightly more expensive than we thought. We had two curries, one rice and one naan which was good for two people.

Amazing portions, worth the price.

The restaurant has all the potential to attract customers on a great scale, since it's located at a very nice location. But they have given lesser concern on the ambience and food quality. Ordered chicken biriyani and chicken Tikka biriyani. We really doubted whether we ordered chicken rice or chicken biriyani after the food was served. Less likely I would recommend this restaurant. Disappointing😔 The plus point is they have good service.👍

I mean you do get what you pay for however I didn’t pay for a stomach ache (after eating chicken biryani) I did also get keema naan but it was very dry. Raita was surprisingly a huge box so the 2 stars.

Pound for pound, value for money this place is one of the best curry houses in London. Introduced my Greek student girlfriend to South Asian food here in 2005 and she loved it. She's now my wife and we love returning to Chillies for nostalogic purposes but also the lovely authentic dishes. The interior hasn't changed and we feel like students again every time we visit. Don't change a thing! Same owners, same menu for two decades (and more). If you're expecting a 'fancy' indian restaraunt then you've got the wrong end of the stick. This place 'keeps it real'. Looking forward to bringing my son here when he's a bit older.

What counts is food and price. This place has it. It'll be one my go-to. 9£ for a curry, complete with rice, naan, and raita. And I don't feel sick afterwards, unlike various Indian places I would eat at. The people hardly speak English at all. Just watch out for that. But they're nice. But I will say there could be some hygiene issues. Not the biggest. But ya.

Great food for good price, I went for a lunch and had delicious dhansak and rice which I have never tried before it was cooked well and tasty...the staff was friendly and took care of all our required needs..

A short walk from the Hampton Waterloo. Very friendly staff, super fast service, and very flavorful food. I had the Chana masala and it was amazing. Also, the temperature was really hot. Still hot when I got back to my room.

Amazing lamb sagwalla and keema naan. Non fancy, honestly price Indian food. About £12 per head with raita.

This small eatery is very close to my son’s accommodation in London and we always eat there whenever we visit. After every two days of eating bland food we used to head there for a nice spiced up Indian meal. Also it has many vegetarian choices which is a blessing for us. Everyone is polite and friendly and the service is quick and the food is reasonably priced. Must visit if you are in that part of the city.

I been this restaurant my first time and it will be my last time . Really bad customer service . Witches my order was £7.99 they cost me £13.99 I told them this is the price I order it they sayid no it’s £13.99 they was so rude to me . Also food was Rubbish. 5 stars for being open for sit down dining at midnight after a long flight. Delicious curries, tandoori and mango lassis.

This restaurant served delicious Indian cuisine and was conveniently open until 2 a.m. It was walking distance from our hotel and the staff were friendly.

1st of all Its NOT a restaurant Its a takeaway with a few seats inside !!! 1.... The place is very cold So dont take your coat off Or you will freeze 2.... I ordered Chicken Tikka Madras , Pilaw Rice , Keema Garlic Nann All i got was a Madras with loads of whole Chilli's & its was bland The rice is supposed to be WHITE mine was Grey ish The Keema Garlic Naan had NO Mince inside & it was hard & very dry The bill came to £17.07 I would of paid around about £10 Keep your money in your pocket & dont go Its bloody horrible

Where's the meat.? Tried the chicken biryani and should have sent a search party out for the chicken... £7.50 for a plate of rice, which didn't have much flavour... Very poor, best avoided unless you are a vegetarian who has lost your taste buds.. In which case, fill your boots. 👎

This is not particularly great. The presentation of the food is sloppy. I got an onion salad that seemed to be prepared by an 8 year old. The curries I've ordered before seem to have a similar base gravy and dont really have much difference in flavour.

The restaurant looks quite obsolete and to tell the truth, dirty. I had to was the fork, and didnt drink from the glass which was dirty. I ordered biryani, which was ok, but quite dry. The people are friendly there, but could have much better service focusing on details.

If you want a tasteless, bland curry that tastes like airplane food for 10 quid don’t hesitate to get it from this place

Tired looking restaurant with average food overpriced. Curries small portion for price and also some lacked flavour. Lamb was tough. Pilau rice okay but not great. Saag paneer tinned spinach and a bit gooey. Naan alright. Raita didnt have much in it. Cold potato salad was okay. Food isnt best quality and doesn't seem that fresh. The curries are served in cold metal bowls and restaurant is cold and draughty so food goes cold quickly. Price is a bit high for what they serve and you can definitely find better. Floor is very dirty and grimy, furniture worn and cheap. Place is not very clean looking and a bit run down. Counter looks dirty, empty and sad. Dirty and sticky menus. Service was very slow despite we were the only ones in the restaurant. Took 10 minutes for bill to arrive when staff were literally doing nothing. Doubt i will go again.

Absolutely in love with this place. I live in the neighborhood, and they are the best local tandoori place I could've asked for. The food is very authentic, speaking as a Delhi-ite! We often go there for weekend or dinner takeaways when we don't feel like cooking. Can't beat this price! Great staff. Absolutely recommend for everyone in covid times, do get a takeaway from them in you are in neighborhood and support this small business! Would hate to lose this place :)

Ok, this is not the most beautiful place and you can smell the curry from the restaurant to Waterloo Station but the food is very good and very affordable. The chicken tikka masala never taste the same but it’s always tasty! The staff is friendly and they opened until very late. It is very convenient ! I enjoy going to this restaurant.

Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, good value. We came for the lunch deal and was so good came back the next day. Vegetarian options are lovely. Highly recommend
