Passage To India in Southwark

As one review wrote “passage to toilet”. I second that remark! Ordered chicken curry and the meat was gone off had to spit it all out immediately. I was in utter shock! A mere complaint wasn’t going to do it. Disgusting.

lamb was tough chicken tikka was tough not the best this time have to try somewhere else for a while

Tasty food and reasonably priced.

The standards off the food of which I received was really bad I normally order from this place on a regular basis but today wasn’t the one the curry’s I ordered didn’t even taste traditional or even nice a the korma was the worst I’ve ever had

Samosas big but dry, Rogan goodish, but had spilt in bag and coloured everything. Basmati OK and poppadums OK too.

Food was delivered quickly & respectfully, my meal was piping hot & so delicious, especially the veg samosas (my favourite thing you do) if I had to complain about anything, my poppadom was broken … Thank you

Food was handed over to the wrong person in the Hotel. But the Delivery person stayed with me to sort things out, and as it turned out the person who took the delivery came backchecking with the reception if his food was mixed up. and that sorted it.

Nice flavour but the lamb was rather chewy

Most restaurants lamb chops cost your first born child ... Here not only do you get plenty of chops there is plenty of meat on them too !! . Whatever you are doing do not change ! I Wish other Indian based restaurants learn some lessons from how you operate ! .... I wonder whats on the menu tonight :D

A completely authentic tasting meal every time. Great service, fast and friendly. If you're looking for amazing flavour then stop looking and start making your way to this place, you will never spend your money on a nicer meal.

Absolutely top notch curry, every dish was full of flavour

I have not got my food, I have paid. The driver (walking!) was in the wrong location and he was an arrogant rude man. How do I get my money back?!

I ordered a mix grill and kebab roll , keema nan , first of all none of the grill was grilled it arrived cold and I had to re-cook it , the lamb pieces were not lamb it was rock hard beef cuts watch I couldn't eat had a bad smell , this is way I stopped ordering from Indian restaurants the price is jacked up and the quality is so low , the keema nan had hardly any keema inside out , was disappointed

I have no idea what that was (maybe a Korma?) but no way was that a butter chicken. Oh well

My favourite Indian food and my favourite dish in the world - I would eat chicken dansak every day if I could! Haven’t tasted a better one.

Delivery driver from the restaurant was kicking the door to the building when I was trying to buzz him in. He then had a go at me about parking in the area when I opened the door and was just scary. Ruined my dinner, couldn’t enjoy it. Horrible experience with their driver.

Delivery was prompt and driver helpful & pleasant. Food was fine with the exception of the chicken Dopiaza which was completely bland and nothing like a Dopiaza. Worst I've ever tried. No good unfortunately.

Have ordered from here multiple times and have never ever been disappointed! Had both take-away and delivery. Food is always delivered bang on time or even early, and take-away is always ready in the time given! Every staff member I have interacted with has been so lovely and have just been a pleasure to speak to. The food is always incredible! Super fresh, piping hot and beautifully cooked! I also really appreciate just how much variety there is with the vegetarian options and it’s great fun to try new dishes each time! Passage to India is our go-to for Indian food every single time and they have become a wonderful addition to a cozy night in!

Food was fast to arrive, the containers were not 100 percent filled but the food was fine and a nice meal, we got a free dish and 1.25 coke so I'm happy, I would order again.

Nice food, good portions but arrived cold

Can’t comment on the food as our order never arrived. Ordered directly on the website - wasn’t sure if the order went through so called to confirm / place new order. Order was confirmed. Followed up 3 times by phone (over 80 minutes) and told “order is on the way” every time. On the fourth call, was told they don’t have our order and we must have ordered from a different restaurant. The customer service was very poor - the staff would hardly let me finish my sentence before cutting me off. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very disappointed! The delivery was late and arrived over a hour after being ordered. Considering this we expected good quality and fresh food. Unfortunately Every dish was swimming in grease. The dal was of a watery soup consistency with a greasy film on top!! The chicken and potatoes in each dish were luke warm and tasted old. The food felt as if it had been cooked yesterday. Not fresh at all. We ended up throwing away everything after a couple of mouthfuls. Inedible:/

Had a set meal for one. Chicken madras. Was looking forward to a bit of Indian as aint had it for a while. Chicken smelled like it was days old sauce as well. Was very disappointed. Rice weren’t bad potatoes weren’t the greatest. The Sheikh kebabs was vile. Don’t know how people like it from here. Wrong be returning I would avoid.

I regularly order from Passage to India since moving to the area and never once have I been disappointed. The food is always delicious and of an extremely high quality. Unbeatable value and portions so big that I often have leftovers for the next day. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

Our favourite take away for indian food! Fast & reliable

The food was terrible. I struggled to eat any of it and gave up. The pathia was greasy and tasted like sugar. The vindaloo was so mild I thought they had given us the wrong order. It was bulked with potatoes as well. The meat was dry and too chewy. I wouldn’t order from here again. Don’t know how it has so many good reviews.

Delicious, the korma was slightly too sweet for me but that’s personal taste. The food was hot and plentiful. They gave us free Bombay potatoes and some drinks. It arrived promptly and delivery guy was nice. This will be our go to now.
