Tacos and quesilladas were solid, but the corn on the cob was unfortunately a bit watery. Service was very attentive and friendly.

The service was soo good here. Really fast, friendly and they topped up our unlimited tacos without us even having to ask! The Spiced Mango Margarita was delicious and the atmosphere was really vibrant. We had a great time!

Great ! We ate there with the children. Very suitable and themed children's menu at £8. Very pleasant service. The doses are small, don’t hesitate to vary or take things to share. We had a great time.

The Mexican food here is simply incredibly delicious and authentic! The service was excellent and we were there with a group of six people. What was particularly great was that there was also a separate menu for the children! You have the choice to sit inside or outside. There are heaters available for outdoor guests so that they can sit comfortably even on cooler days. The interior of the restaurant is incredibly beautifully decorated. We would definitely like to come back! 😁👌

Waitress was great, but manager was rude!

Semi-hidden under a bridge in the heart of Borough Market is the best Mexican restaurant in all of London. You leave behind all the hustle and bustle of the market to immerse yourself in a Mexican atmosphere. The restaurant is usually quite full, and with good reason. The dishes are exquisite and always accompanied by freshly heated corn and wheat tortillas that are replenished until the end of the meal.

Do NOT come here, the Tacos taste horrible and the dishes are not clean. Even if the food were good, the prices would still be way to high

Tasty dishes in a warm, leafy atmosphere. Service was incredible, we received very helpful recommendations and our meal didn’t disappoint. I strongly recommend the beef quesadilla, corn cake, and the refried cheesy beans. I’d gladly eat my body weight in the latter, thanks.

Best meat free taco, cocktails and service

The place feels very authentic, and Yadira took great care of us!

We had the queso fundido, chicken tacos, and the mushroom tacos. Queso fundido was too oily but arguably the best thing that we had. Each chicken taco came with a singular piece of unseasoned chicken, which clearly came from a freezer pack of chicken goujons. It lacked sauce and flavour as a dish. The mushroom tacos did not taste like they had any mushroom in it, it tasted very similar to the starter. It seemed like melted cheese with a few beans in it. The food experience was very disapointing.

The front desk staff gave us a table inside even though they were really busy. Server was super friendly to our kiddos. Guacamole was yummy and we live in CA so wasn't sure it would live up to what we are used to. El Pastor tacos were my husband's favorite. Kids menu was very generous.

This has to be by far the worst tacos we’ve ever had. The tacos were bland, cold, and the quesadilla had fries… fries!!! The chicharrón is not real or fresh, but rather the ones you can buy at the supermarket in a bag. The food is definitely not authentic and I was sorry to have wasted my lunch here given all the alternatives in the market. To end, I forgot a pot of olives that I had bought in the market (it was obvious it was a purchase), realized and came back 2 minutes later and they had thrown them in the trash, which just completed the very bad experience. Definitely not worth the time or money.

This place is perfectly fine, but not particularly special. And for the price - £6-£7 a taco, you’d be hoping for amazing, which it wasn’t. The beef short rib sharer was tasty, but really fatty, so you don’t get much meat. The guacamole was fantastic, and for almost £10, you’d hope so. You feel pretty rammed in, and not enough space on the high tables for food they want to serve, so you’re constantly rearranging your table. And as we were seated, we got told we had the table for 90 minutes. I know that’s London etc, but when you then spend £130 for tacos and beer, you wonder why you couldn’t have a table for a little longer to enjoy the meal and conversation. Really friendly service, which is always appreciated! At these prices, I wouldn’t come back.

We came to El Pastor for an after work meal with friends. It is tucked away right under London Bridge with some seating outside and some under the bridge. The service was quick and they served our drinks quickly. The food was served quickly and promptly with the fish tacos and the sharer chicken plate being particular highlights.

Super yummy Really good mushroom tacos and guacamole , the corn is also delicious! Super fresh and good service too.

Perhaps arriving at 5pm is a poor choice but the meat in the tacos seemed as though it was left over from the lunch service. Over cooked and cold. Not all of it but to much of it. OK experience but certainly not memorable.

We ordered the 5 Salasa sampler, Guac and chips and Veg Mushroom Tacos. Tacos were really amazing but we liked only 3 of the 5 salsas. Service was certainly top notch.

Was really excited to try this place with my family. There were 5 available tables with nobody waiting and one of the employees told us that we needed to wait 25 minutes for a table. We got the impression that they didn’t want our business since we had a 9 month old baby with a stroller so we left to try other places in the borough market. Horrible customer service!

I’m used to tacos in America and British food in general has been so bland. This place hit the spot. The steak tacos and the chicken tacos were spicy and so delicious!!! I would be back for sure. Staff was nice and friendly too. Kinda pricey but it’s expected.

Normally I don’t complain, however, I will take the time to write about my experience. I went to have dinner and as soon as I got there I was told I had 90 min the table (on a Tuesday not busy) Then I asked for two steak quesadillas and were super dry!! I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Sorry for the complaint.

Fantastic food and cocktails. We had the chicken sharing plate from the specials menu along with several margaritas. The chicken was spectacular. Definitely get the salsas and don't skip the guacamole (although the chicharron was a bit disappointing.. go for the chips instead) Service was fantastic too.

These guys know how to please their valued customers. There was a slip up with the order which caused a delay, but they made sure to make up for it 100%. They provided us with free drinks and desserts! You rarely see this kind of customer service these days. Food and drinks were amazing too!

Best Mexican food I’ve had in London. After traveling to California I had very high standards for Mexican food. I’ve tried few Mexican places but nothing like el pastor! Watch the spice!

Easily the best tacos I have had in London. We had a lovely server, Ana who was well informed about the specials. I would recommend the soft shell crab tacos if they are available. I also recommend the baja fish tacos, and the 5 salsas are lovely to try if you enjoy spices! I especially enjoyed the corn cake for desert, I will be back to enjoy that desert again! Food was bland , small portions and very overpriced with very misleading descriptions with some of the elements describing not being visible on the dish. The steak quesadilla was not a quesadilla and the steak had simply no taste. The chicken taco was made with a chicken goujon that was definately frozen - not a real Mexican restaurant. Don’t spend your money here.

Please note that I am not an expert in Mexican food, we ordered tacos el pastor which I found very tasty and not excessively spicy, everything very balanced. We also ordered chicken quesadilla which didn't really appeal to me at all, very dry and lacking sparkle. For starters we ordered very fresh and pleasant guacamole. I leave you photos so you can appreciate the presentation of the dishes and the friendly atmosphere of the place.

Stopped here for some food on a glorious day, the market was heaving so it was nice to sit down and relax. Service was quick and efficient, menu had great choices. Chicken Tinga tostadas ws really tasty. Daughter chose the Steak Quesadilla, not complaining from her and plate cleaned. Wife had the Warm coconut tart with lime sorbet. She didn't offer it out as it was so nice. Staff were great and took time to talk to us while answering questions about the menu.

Friendly staff; I've always said you can judge a Mexican restaurant on the quality of their guacamole alone, and theirs - while it's not the best I've ever had - is pretty damn good and tastes fresh. The Tacos El Pastor were great (calling your place 'El Pastor', they had to be top notch and they were). The sea bass ceviche was very good too. Will definitely be going back to sample more of their menu - they have daily specials too which change all of the time, so will be looking forward to those! UPDATE: Have been back since. Have tried more of their menu and it still pops. I like this place.

I loved. I checked out some reviews before eating, and we almost left before ordering for some of them. Thank goodness we stayed to try it! It was the only place without a wait in Borough Market since it is a restaurant and not a food stall. They gave us great recommendations, I had some gluten-free tacos that had nothing to envy of the rest, and they were also very fast. The dessert is very, very delicious. It takes me far away, but if it weren't like that I would go once a week :)

Tourist trap. Historic dunk. Almost all the waiters are Spanish and they did not have the decency to warn.

The place CLEARLY says that it closes at 10:00 pm, we arrived at 9:30 and they simply no longer wanted to serve us. The attitude of the entrance employee FATAL!!! How do they say on the internet that they close at 10 at night and you arrive and they don't want to serve you? TERRIBLE, I don't recommend the place. It should be noted that there were also a maximum of 4 people eating there. It wasn't crowded that they couldn't pass us.

Very good, fresh Mexican food in a nice atmosphere. The guacamole is sensationally good, as are the various tacos. The service is also good - Tania was responsible for the service for us. However, be careful: If you are asked at the end if you would like to drink a mescal, it is not - as you might assume - "on the house" and you will be charged £10 per shot. Unfortunately, this somewhat spoiled the experience with the very good food. Otherwise, a clear recommendation at the Borogh Market in London!
