We where not sure where to go, but we finally had a good feeling about this place and we decided but the best thing was the service, Juan was the best helping us dicide and explained all the dishes we where interested in! Thankyou so much❤️🎉

Went on a Saturday about 8pm. Every table was full so I recommend booking. We ordered the spare rib sharer and it was perfect for 2- and super delicious. It's maybe a bit messy for a first date... but otherwise awesome 😄 Food service was very fast! We also had really nice drinks, particularly recommend the "Lagerita" All the staff were lovely.

Sobreprecio y agobiante. Nos cobraron 10 libras por un pequeño tazón de guacamole. El camarero no explicó el costo por adelantado, lo que me hizo sentir como si me hubieran estafado. El plato principal era caro para la cantidad que conseguimos. No volverá.

Very good and the guys are super helpful

The food is amazing and you can't beat the location! We love the outdoor sidewalk seating right across from Borough Market. The guacamole is top quality as are the 5 salsas for 5 gbp. This is a must stop every time I'm in London for work.

Visited for an early supper on a Wednesday evening - we loved the outside seating area right opposite the market so opted to sit there. Service was prompt and friendly. We each had a glass of wine while we looked at the menu and had the 5 salsa offer with guacamole and tortilla chips- absolutely delicious - so good we asked for more. The sharing food we had was superb - spicy, beautifully cooked and presented and a good temperature. Too full for dessert! We walked through the restaurant to get to the toilets ( interesting art work in walls) and found the place absolutely buzzing. Very reasonably priced, can’t wait to go again.

The food was delicious. Was initially worried that the portions looked a bit small but left feeling content. I’m usually not a big pork eater but the Al Pastor was delightful and really succulent. The papas al arbol was also really flavourful. We had the corn cake and tortillas y dulce de leche for dessert which were both really good. The staff were really friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning!

¡Los especiales son deliciosos! Desde aperitivos hasta el desierto disfrutamos de cada aspecto de la comida. Las tostadas de atún eran una de nuestras favoritas, a mi pequeño le encantaba el guac y la comida infantil. ¡Gran lugar para tacos y ni siquiera me hagas empezar con las increíbles margaritas!

Excelente comida y cócteles La encantadora camarera Yadi es simplemente encantadora y nos ayudó a pedir la mejor comida y bebidas! Realmente vale la pena la visita.

The food was quite expensive for what it was. It was okay, nothing out of this world. The service was quite bad as well, not welcoming at all. The atmosphere is quite nice though, especially on warmer evenings.

Insane Food, authentic mexican cuisine

The refried bean tostadas were good, the guacamole was fresh. And service fast and friendly. But the mezcal-margarita was weak, and the fresh mackerel tacos were really gross, just sour and watery without any interest.

To be honest the food was mid (reasonably priced for central london though). The service was quick but our waiter was SO rude, and a service tip is added onto the end so we ended up tipping for awful service. We understand this would’ve been taken off if we had asked but tbh we just wanted to get out of there at that point. Quite a strange experience

We dined here over the weekend and for the most part we had a great experience, tasty food, good service and a generally pleasant atmosphere. When the bill arrived, we noticed we’d been charged for a large guacamole, despite specifically ordering the small. A simple fix, one would think? Oh, how naive we were. Instead of a quick correction, we were treated to an unexpected guacamole seminar. Enter the second waiter, who swooped in with two bowls of guacamole like some sort of avocado sommelier, ready to educate us on the dip portioning. Sir, we are grown adults. We politely explained that, yes, we did receive the large however, our issue was that we ordered the small. But alas, our point was lost. We won't be returning!

We did our visit for Valentine's Day as we love the food in this lovely place. El Pastor is a place where you could definitely enjoy an authentic flavour of Mexican food, as its tortillas are so authentic. We wanted to say thanks to the team that since we arrived, they showed us attention and time. Especially to Cristian (Gallego), who was our waiter and shared a bit of himself with us. Thanks for your recommendations, Cristian. Gringa quesadilla was actually great, as you said, and the pollo borracho was also beautiful. Ending our night with corn cake and tortillas with dulce de leche (very surprised with this one actually). Very well recommended, and thanks again, Cristian, for your service.

Absolutely delicious tacos and the best guacamole I’ve ever had! The special blood orange margarita was also great. Excellent, attentive, and friendly service too. Our server, Katia, was very kind! We’ll definitely be back!

Needed somewhere for a late lunch and am so glad I found this place. The waitress gave some recommendations so I went with it and so glad I did. The Gringa quesadilla was really tasty but it's the corn cake that really finished the meal. Easily one of the best desserts I've had.

Thank you so much for an amazing lunch! The food was delicious in a brilliant atmosphere. All of the members of staff we encountered were fantastic - from the hostess who immediately made us feel welcome to our waitress and all other waiting staff. Everyone was friendly and genuinely very good at what they do! It is probably the best service we have received in a London restaurant for a very long time. We would return for that alone. The food was delicious and presented well. We already plan to come back with friends in a few months! It was a great way to celebrate a birthday.

We booked for 4 with a specific chair request due to a bad back and the entire team were so accommodating - and when we only showed up with 3 people last minute it wasn’t a bother either. The host (I didn’t catch her name!) was absolutely FANTASTIC. We were waited on by Gabriella who was attentive and gave us great recommendations (the avocado passionfruit margarita was divine) and Dejohn who sorted a birthday song and candles for my brother. Third time I’ve been and it’s hit the mark for everything every single time. Food, service, atmosphere - all tens!

came here for a birthday meal and it was perfect from start to finish! the cocktails were gorgeous (highly recommend the brambleita), the food was incredible, and the staff were lovely - even going so far as to sing me happy birthday which was so nice! will absolutely return if I visit London again!!!

Realmente decepcionado. Había escuchado cosas buenas sobre El Pastor, así que decir que fue decepcionante es una eufemismo. Nada de quesadillas vegetarianas. También £ 14 por dos nachos apilados con atún era bastante imperdonable. El burrito de mi amigo que costaba lo mismo y parecía que debería haber sido un tercio del precio también fue una estafa total. Qué pena, nunca más.

Beautiful and vibey restaurant. Has unique tacos and nice for a bite with a pal. Tad pricey but that could be due to location (London bridge). Would of got 5 stars but there was no beef left when I went 🙁

There is a big difference between what i payed what i eat, sorry for this review but is not the best tacos :(, the service really good, and the lamb tacos also, but if you are in borough market maybe is better if you try anything else, i regretted when i ate and then i saw all the stuffs to eat in the market.

I had an absolutely amazing time yesterday at El Pastor, the food was incredible and I received excellent service from Cassidi who was super helpful in giving out recommendations and made our day and our meal that much better! Cannot recommend enough!

Delicious food, small portions, very expensive. There were three of us and after spending £95 we weren't really full. Taste was good. Water is available for free... but there is a hefty service fee added to the bill. Prices very steep. Ordered guacamole twice and was £19 poorer. Margarita very good but also very expensive. Unfortunately we had to sit outside because it was very loud. No recommendation at this point. I like to tip, but I would like to decide for myself how much I give for the service.

Seated quickly on a very busy Friday night. Have been before and this time wasn’t as good but still really enjoyed. The crab tostadas and mushroom tacos were my favourite. £8 for a stubby can of beer was a bit much though. Prices were okay. Server was very rushed and chaotic and brought out wrong order, also seemed quite desperate for us to leave the minute we had finished.

I was there for a business trip and for dinner I decided to go to El pastor, and I definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back if I go to London again

Overall good spot with nice tacos and inspired by those of Mexico City. Only gave this a lower start since there weren’t a ton of veggie option and I didn’t love all the salsas (the spicier ones were lacking body and the right balanced profile). Also wish the portions were a little bigger too.

Un gran hallazgo, un oasis de calma justo al lado de uno de los mercados más concurridos de Londres. Estábamos luchando para encontrar un lugar para comer en el mercado del condado, ya que era hombro con hombro durante las compras de Navidad, vimos este lugar y nos metimos y conseguimos una mesa. El servicio fue genial, súper amable y servicial. La comida era aún mejor, una de las mejores comidas mexicanas que he tenido. Los tacos de champiñones y la quesadilla de cerdo son muy recomendables, al igual que la cerveza que han hecho junto con Two Tribes. Mi única reserva es que almorzamos e intencionalmente mantuvimos nuestro pedido a un par de artículos, prefiero haber ido a la hora del té y pedido más comida! Me encantó, me encantaría comer aquí de nuevo.

The food quality was good but portion size quite small. The setting was nice, but the prices were very expensive verging on ridiculously so. Service was good but in and out in half an hour for £90 for two people.

We went yesterday as a group of about 8 or 9 people, they treated us wonderfully and the food of 10, the attention is the best, super nice and attentive, I will return.

Highly recommended if you want to eat Mexican food, sitting quietly in Borought Market, a little away from the hustle and bustle of this area. Cristian, a native Galician, treated us phenomenally and recommended our lunch, which was perfect!!!

I was in Spain this long weekend and I was surprised by the good quality of the food. The attention of the staff was also very good, especially Cristhian who was very friendly and told us significant aspects of the city.

El Pastor is set in the middle of the St Pancras complex. It is a vibrant area, full of movement and excitement. The El Pastor is a Mexican casual restaurant; I think El Pastor refers to grilled pork slices. There was a varied choice of crab tostadas, duck carnitas, guacamole and salsas. Original and tasty. Service was swift, Alice our waitress was helpful and charming. It may have been fast food but that was what we were after. Stephen I

When seated you are given a on the house water for your table and the service is very fast and efficient, food was absolutely delicious would recommend the beef brisket tacos, when ordering guacamole you get nachos with it which some places make you get them separately would recommend this place to all

Great restaurant, I loved the ambience - spicy margaritas are to die for. I’d prefer the food a bit warmer but it is what it is :) Our service was excellent too. Rini or Irini was the best. Explained everything and was so much interactive. Totally recommend.

My wife and I agreed that of the 5 salsas we had, 3 of them were excellent, some of the tastiest we’ve ever had - the roasted habanero with lime, the salsa verde and the habanero with grilled pineapple. Unfortunately the rest of the food was average at best, the steak in my tacos was so dry it was like dried rubber. My wife’s quesadilla was “ok” she said, and oddly not served folded as quesadillas typically are. Service was very haphazard- they didn’t bring my dish on time and the 3 tables around us also had their food orders messed up. Really I’d give this 3.5 stars because 3 is too low and 4 is too high. Only the salsas saved it from being very disappointing.

Located inside Borough Market, El Pastor is a nice Mexican restaurant known for its delicious tacos. The service is friendly and efficient, even on busy days. While the dishes were very good, the price-to-quantity ratio could be better. Despite this, I would definitely return.

They recommended the place to me because of my gluten intolerance, however they did not let my 6-year-old son eat a box of sushi that we brought from outside. It is complicated with an intolerance and two children to find places that meet all the requirements. Little empathy on the part of the company, a waitress understood it and told us there was no problem, the manager did not authorize it. A shame we couldn't eat. I don't recommend it.

Excellent. Very good tacos and atmosphere. It's in the Borough Market. It has chairs outside and inside. The sauces and dressings are excellent and so is the margarita. I recommend it.

The food was quite good, but what I liked most about the place was the service, especially from a guy called Cristian, super attentive in everything and very very polite, I wish there were more people like him, I would definitely return!!!

Busy and best to book in advance. Highly recommend their taco sharing platters (unlimited shells and toppings); most affordable tacos in London, and high quality. Can get up to 20 tacos out of each sharing platter!!

Food is average and smaller portions. Chicken in the tacos not tasty, potatoes bland, quite pricey for what it is. I’ve yet to find a Mexican that makes my mouth water and want to rush back. Great concept and drinks looked good. Lovely staff. Don’t get the rave reviews on food.

Food was great, wonderful fresh flavours. Portions are a nice size to get a few plates to share between two (or more), which lets you experience more of the menu. Found it very reasonably priced for the quality and location. Service was friendly and attentive.

The food has nothing in common with Mexican food, it was almost cold (not reheated) and the price compared to the quantities of food is terrible.
