Let's just say if you're looking for an expensive snack but with dinner prices this is the place. I ordered the lamb chops/cutlets and that's all you get, 3 small pieces of meat and nothing else on the plate. My husband ordered the fish tacos and it came with two. He could fit both of them in one hand. I'm in my sixties and have never finished eating at a restaurant and then looked up another place to go and actually get a real dinner sized meal. I'm very confused by the great reviews this place gets. I suppose if you're looking for a trendy place to eat, and not looking for value then this is the place.

Amazing mexican food. Some of the best I've eaten outside Mexico! Can highly recommend the tuna sashimi taco. Out of this world. Great service and a buzzing atmosphere.

We went to celebrate a family member’s birthday, we were 8 people plus children we spent over £200 and they still wanted to charge us £5 each to serve our own cake. If you’re celebrating someone’s birthday do not go there!

A nice place, good food, fast service.

Food was great! The restaurant is also lovely, it was pretty busy and upstairs gets a bit loud… but we still enjoyed the dinner a lot! The food was delicious and the staff really nice! We ordered the guacamole with grasshoppers! If you fell brave you should taste it! The highlight probably was the tuna tostada!

I'm very happy to say that after many years trying to get a decent mexican restaurant I have finally found one. Although I'm not an expert in mexican cuisine , the balance of flavours and freshness of the dishes did it for me. The simplicity of the humble ingredients being elevated by a good chef,without pretentiousness. The decor of the place and service of the staff added to a very nice evening. Thank you.

Four of us went for Saturday bottomless brunch and the food service and atmosphere were all fantastic. Shout out for Ben our waiter. He could not have been more attentive.

The highlights, unreal margaritas, lots of choice of flavours and rims if classic wasn't your thing. Food was brilliant quality but the quantity for the price wasn't right. Food and drinks come to £120 per person and although we had a decent amount of drinks to be honest a few of us left hungry. They recommended 3-4 plates between 2 I would say realistically you need 4 absolute minimum to share plus sides and nachos to feel satisfied. Service was decent but for a small restaurant a little slow, though they are freshly made cocktails so it is understandable to a degree. The guacamole was sensational. Overall had a great night and the food and drinks was delicious, but it was an expensive evening for a Monday catch up with the girls. Would recommend though.

As a transplant from California, I've been desperate to find good Mexican food in the UK, but have had no luck. I was hopeful for Santo Remedio, but the menu is incredibly limited and not very authentically Mexican. Sashimi? No. There was only one beef dish, no chicken, and too many vegetarian dishes. I felt forced to choose dishes because they were the only things that weren't off-putting. The actual food was varied. The red salsa was delicious. I couldn't eat the fish tacos, as the fish taste was way too strong. The vegetable tostadas were all vinegar and not nice. I did enjoy the short rib, although it was a bit samey after one bite. The atmosphere was way too loud and I could barely hear my husband speak. The one nice thing was our waiter, who was lovely, honest, and extremely helpful and friendly. But I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

An awesome restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food, and super close to London Bridge train/tube station. Toby was our waiter and so lovely and helped us make some great food orders for vegans - would really recommend the baby potato flautas and save some room for desert as the churros were so tasty!

This was a family celebration of my son’s 18th. The food was fantastic - can’t recommend the short rib enough, but all the dishes were exceptional and (best of all) gluten free! The cocktails were fab - especially the Paloma and the spicy margaritas. We will definitely book again.

Lamb chops were nice but way too expensive. Everything else was mediocre, including food and drinks, again crazy expensive for what you get to eat. Why all the options are altered? No single option is mexican authentic, without fusioning. Your restaurant supposed to have cocina Mexicana.

I had an amazing experience at Santa Remedio! I tried both the tacos and tostadas, and every dish was full of flavor and incredibly delicious. I came here for bottomless brunch, and it was fabulous! Really good value for money 2 courses and a pudding for £58 plus service charge. the staff are really attentive and always make sure the drinks are flowing! Jay our serve was a ray of sunshine 10/10

This is an okay Mexican restaurant in Tooley Street, between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. I am not very used to Mexican food and not sure if this is a reflection of it in general, but I found the food was just extremely mid. I was expecting to be amazed by it given that it says that they feature on the “Michelin guide” or something like that but the food is just okay. Putting three stars as my expectations were not met at all, and it was very expensive for what it was. Had some fish that was okay, and some flautas that were very mid. Also some fried plantain that was good but it is very difficult to mess that up. They have some fermented pineapple drink and a blended rice rink that were nice. For dessert, they had some bad version of tres leches which was disappointing. Most of the staff members were nice though. All in all, extremely mid food for an expensive price. 100% would not come back.

This is our second time at this restaurant for my daughter and I. Last night it did not disappoint - delicious food, great ambience and incredibly friendly and helpful staff (our server Jaye was so wonderful in every way - thank you!).

Nice food, but v small portions. Margaritas good but small. Food delicious but very small portions. I don't eat much as don't have big appetite, but even I thought "blimey, for that price I could have eaten twice that amount"

A charming little place if you love Mexican cuisine

Best Mexican restaurant London. I say that without a doubt. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything from the starters to the tacos and tostadas. The mains are amazing too. But the service and bartending is simply superb. Couldn’t fault anything here. We had the coconut margarita which was the best I’ve had. Tuna tostada and the soft shell crab taco are so good. Make sure you try the lamb shank too. Even the desserts were great.

Decent Mexican option, was interesting to try crickets on the guacamole for the first time. Tuna tosadas & the corn elotes were the main hits, want to come back to try some meat options next time!

I brought my wife here for a surprise birthday lunch, because she loves Mexican food and she absolutely loved it. The service was great, with all of the stuff being quite attentive and timely, given how busy the place was. We didn't have to wait very long for everything. All of the dishes were really tasty, fresh and very nicely presented.

London Bridge - Amazing amazing amazing, this place doesn’t cease to inspire us. It’s simple and well made but unique, with a great attention to detail. Highly recommended: virgin hibiscus margarita, pork belly tacos, tuna tostada, and the bone in short rib. Exceptionnal! + the staff is consistently super friendly, warm and welcoming!

Lovely experience. Strongly recommend to focus on the first page of the menu where there are starters tacos and tostadas that are literally mind blowing. Main was a bit disappointing so wouldn't recommend to try the rib but get more tacos 🌮, absolutely delicious. Cocktails were just perfect and faultless, everything well made and amazingly balanced well done Erika. Service was brilliant as well, Jay served us and she was very kind, attentive, patient and helpful. Thank you Jay. TUNA TOSTADA and espresso martini are A MUST TRY.

Fantastisk mexikansk mat på denna lilla och mysiga restaurang. Alla i sällskapet var nöjda med maten, allt ifrån krabbtacos till chorizo quesadillas. Och jättegoda Margueritas! Servitrisen var otroligt trevlig också vill jag minnas.

Literally the best margaritas and espresso martinis in London. I've been like 3 times and it tops every time, the food and service are fab too! Highly recommend

Had a lovely meal here with my family. My husband is Latin American, and we love all Latin American food but have found a hard time finding good options in London. So happy to find this spot. The servers were so warm, friendly and accommodating. The ambience was incredibly chill, and the decor is eclectic and beautiful. We had the house margarita, sangria and hibiscus agua fresca. Lots of delicious looking options on the cocktail menu— can’t wait to return and try more. We really enjoyed the pork tacos, fish tacos, chilaquiles and chicken flautas. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I could eat the plantains served with cream and queso every day. So good!! Lots of meat-free options which is nice. We also had the grasshoppers alongside our guacamole— we’ve only tried them a handful of times before so it was a nice treat/surprise to find them here. Desserts were great— particularly the churros which weren’t too greasy or overly sweet. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Este está bueno , o muy bueno para ser mexicano en Londres. Pedí los tacos de Pork Belly y no me encantaron, la carne estaba no tan buena como me la esperaba, las tortillas de maíz si muy buenas y es como si las estuvieras comiendo en México .

The food was delicious! We ordered a selection of all the tacos and tostadas and was lovely! Jay who served us was so attentive and smiley, she really made our meal!

Excellent food - almost the whole menu is gluten free also, really excellent. Get the soft shell crab tacos! Our server Jay was so friendly and accommodating, remembering our food preferences and providing lots of personal touches that made our meal feel really special. Forgot to take pics because it was all so tasty!

Santo Remedio has beautiful ambience with a feeling of enjoying your food in a garden being indoors. Staff is very cheerful and helpful. David served us and was super efficient and pleasant.It serves the best guacamole in whole of london. Definitely recommend!!

Toby was super attentive, turned the music down a but so I could concentrate (I have adhd) but without my asking. Was so astute to everyone’s needs, turned the AC off as a woman was cold even if it meant he was super warm (we could tell). Had a great knowledge of the menu already after only 3 weeks on the job. Really reassuring to my GF friend’s allergy. Food exceptional and light. Smallish portions so enjoy the sides. The tuna tostadas were bloody EXCEPTIONAL

Thought this would be a good restaurant, but how wrong I was. Ordered a few dishes, but everything was tasteless, stale and dull and had to pay a high price. The best thing we got was a bottle of water. Avoid this place.

Wanted to try this place for a while and didn't disappoint! Staff were all so friendly, it is so refreshing to see staff enjoying themselves and giving customer a great experience.

Has the softshell crab and pulled pork taco. Both are very salty and prefer it to be lesser. However the softshell crab is real solid like mini crab n I like that. Didn’t enjoy the lamb shank as the taste didn’t work for me though meat is very tender. Service is very good from Indian waitress

We went last night to celebrate our friend’s birthday and Ana María really looked after us last night! She was so attentive, friendly and great recommendations on what to order. The coconut margarita was delicious and the tuna tostada its a must. Thank you so much for making our evening so enjoyable.

This was a disappointing visit. Table of four for dinner on a Friday night. The portions were small and the food wasn’t really that nice. The atmosphere was good and the drink were a little above average but nothing to write home about. Overall we all left feeling a little disappointed and hungry, which, when you spend over £50 per head, is a real shame. We won’t be returning or recommending

Saturday afternoon atmosphere was 👌 little crowd but not too loud, and the restaurant is cozy. The food is fabulous and took me back to my holiday in Mexico.

It is a bit of mixed emotions, to be honest. This is a very honest review about my experience yesterday. Booked in advance as I was celebrating my graduation, came with my family and friends, we came from Canterbury, my graduation was in London and after being busy all day with the ceremony we were ravenously hungry. I was very tired and hungry. I am Mexican, and I really wanted to treat my guests with something authentic and make my day extra special to have real mexican food after being over a decade away from my country. It was very disappointing. First, the menu was extremely reduced. We were really looking forward to having things we saw online, but we contented ourselves with what they had. We were too hungry and tired to go to another place. Starters arrived, and they were ok, but tiny. I've never been in a mexican restaurant where the salsa is served so scarcely in a ramekin. I spilt a salsa on my dress, and everyone gave me their napkins. The waitress witnessed this, and she did not offer any more napkins. We ordered drinks, and they were wrong. My husband did order a michelada and received a chelada. The main dishes arrived and they were very small, and my main dish was missing, The portions were so small that after my guests finished their food, my food arrived and by this time I had finished my side dish as well. One of my friends ordered the tree milk cake and it was very dry. My husband had to ask where the cake was because it was taking a very long time. I did step outside with one of my guests, and when I returned to the table, they told me they ordered second drinks, which never arrived. The waitress seemed very unexperienced, and the male waiter seemed more experienced, but he seemed overly engaged in being with another table that was sat at our side, and it seems that they were given the wrong order. He gave them the food for free as they seemed to be regulars, but the rest of the tables were mainly attended by the waitress. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as we had experiences in other restaurants where the portions were larger and the price seemed more fair than what we were offered in here. We are not fishing for a freebie we don't live in London we tried to make our day special as it was a very important day but when visiting again we won't reconsider visiting.

This isn’t going to be a fake review so apologies if it’s not what you would like to read but it has to be real. My partner is Mexican and I have visited many times. I LOVE Mexican food and whenever I see a Mexican resto in London I’m always up to go..him not so much because he’s always disappointed because it’s never authentic. He didn’t come with me because of this and I’m glad he didn’t because he’d have been disappointed. Since Mexican food is trending at the moment in London, with actual Mexicans running it you’d think that this would be up to the same standard as them. Now I really thought this place was set up or run by Mexicans not sure why I thought this but we went for my birthday. Bottomless brunch. Firstly the restaurant wasn’t that busy and we were pretty much alone upstairs apart from two other tables so it should not have taken 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order for the next drink. I Mind you this is for 90 minutes. Not to mention it was 20 minutes before we got asked for our food. The food. I asked for chilaquiles verdes which is one of my favourites. It looked OK, fancier than I’ve had which was expected here but the salsa verdes didn’t taste like salsa verde. I’m not sure what it was but it wasn’t that nice and truly I’m not a fussy person. Regardless of whether it was authentic Mexican or not I’d have enjoyed it but it didn’t taste good. I ate it anyway because I’m paying for it. My friends Caesar salad was soggy leaves and croutons which leads me to believe this salad is not fresh. Next up was another fav of mine the flautas. Oh boy..you’re supposed to have the shredded chicken plain so that the sauces on top shine and flavours don’t clash but they seasoned it so much it tasted smoky and it didn’t go together with the sauce on top. I was so disappointed in this. Dessert was just..my friend left her mango sorbet because it was closer to aqua Fresca, way tooo liquid. I had to wait so so long to get my drinks in between it wasn’t worth it. Anyway despite that I had 4 sangrias and was stone cold sober so I believe it was a splash of wine with other ingredients. The guy who served us was very lovely I have to say but it wasn’t fair that we had so much time before we were asked to order other drinks. My glass was empty for a while and had to even ask the seating host for a drink. I paid £68 I believe and I wasn’t happy with the price of the food considering the quality was poor. That salad was absolutely shocking it’s laughable 😭 I wouldn’t spend a penny here and I hope it’s not Mexican owned because that would be a travesty. I get the location is London Bridge but that price for what you get is rubbish. If you want actual Mexican food in London I know a few places but this isn’t it! Maybe that was the goal, to make it for BRITISH people? Who knows. Sorry for being honest I know that’s not what other people in the reviews are doing but you lot do you 😭😭

Amazing experience! Had a fantastic authentic experience here! Firstly the mezcal margaritas and palomas were fantastic! The tuna tacos were so fresh and full of flavour. Could not fault a single plate that came out. Highly recommended and would definitely come back. Fair pricing

The food was tasty, even if the portions were small. The service was poor - we were left waiting with nothing on the table, not even drinks, for 15-20 minutes at a time - glasses were taken away and the waiter gone before we could ask for another drink and we weren’t offered desserts. Eventually we got up to ask for the bill and left feeling a bit stupid for spending £90 on a very small lunch for two. Not inclined to go back and wouldn’t recommend.

We went there for bottomless brunch on a Saturday. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, above all their Baja Style fish tacos. We had margaritas too which were delightful. We celebrated my friend's birthday and it was amazing. We will definitely come again!

Went here for a friends birthday at lunchtime on a Friday. Drinks, food, atmosphere and service were incredible. Food was some of the best Mexican I’ve had in london in a while. Will definitely be returning!

We really enjoyed our meal at the London Bridge restaurant. We had a couple of the nibbles then shared 3 from the tacos section, a side and a pudding. The flavours in the different dishes were all great and really distinctive, but I especially liked the potato flautas and the corn. Excellent mezcal margaritas and some really interesting non alcoholic drinks too. Service was friendly and helpful and we ended up with just the right amount of food on the advice of our waiter.

Great authentic mexican with excellent Margheritas.

We had the guacamole with grasshoppers, baja fish tacos, pork belly tacos, potato rolled tacos, and the sweet potato. To be honest it was a disappointment, the food was quite expensive considering the lack of flavour. Nothing was bad it just wasn't very good, everything tasted like it was lacking a punch of something. The horchata was nice though. Two of the dishes (one of the tacos and the sweet potato) came out a lot later than the other dishes and the potato was lukewarm. Tacos el pastor in Borough Market does what this place is trying to do but much better. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Food is always so great and the margs are to die for. We went for the bottomless brunch, way more fun than boring eggs Benedict. Out waitress Laura was so fun and friendly she really elevated the experience and made us feel so welcome! We will be back for sure
