Nando's - Clink Street in Southwark

Nando’s on Clink was a perfect stop after hours at the museum. Good food, great service, and I could charge my phone.

Biggest Nando’s I’ve ever seen. Great location and decor. Food was quick (albeit it was dead when we went), staff friendly too. Only downside was food could’ve been hotter, hence the 3 stars. Otherwise all good.

First of all, when you come, you have to write your name to the person at the reception. I didn't know that since I'm not from England. I lost 15 minutes of my time waiting at the checkout. A big, cozy place, beautiful decor. I took wings x10. Out of stock of spicy rice. I made the mistake of putting the peri peri sauce on all the wings. So it ruined the taste, the wings were spicy. I took a drink on the side but I didn't know that the drink is unlimited here

The staff were EXTREMELY nice and friendly! We arrived before noon on a weekday and the restaurant (very spacious, btw) was half empty though by the time we left, it seemed pretty much full. But no worries, as long as you can pay mobile, the ordering is very smooth, everything can be done on the phone. We were two and just ordered one big sharing platter of chicken, it arrived quickly and overall I enjoyed my lunch. I highly recommend 👍

Really poor experience, won't be visiting nandos again. The venue is very nice and picturesque, that is about all there is going for this place Really rude cashier, Poppy, when I asked if they do NHS discount she rolled her eyes and wouldn't accept my blue light card. She treated me like a criminal and offensive for asking. It's funny, I love having worked for the NHS for 10 years through a pandemic just to be treated so rudely by a cashier. Also the (spanish) customer before me was clearly not from UK and didn't know how to navigate the menu. Instead of helping her, Poppy just gave her unnecessary attitude, and would repeat the same words like "allergy" louder and louder when the customer didn't understand, instead of making any effort to understand the issue or translate The chicken was cold by the time it got to me, and chips were soggy

A really nice location and very kind staff. Food is always good at nandos, this one is particularly spacious and has a lovely atmosphere.

First time: when I got to the counter to order no one came to take my order until another person called them to come and take our order. The place is clean. The rice bowel I ordered was spicy, but very tasty. I loved the portion. The box was not too big or too small. The cauliflower was delicious, the chicken looked simple but I mixed it with the hummus and it was delicious.

I waited 45 minutes for a single takeaway chicken leg, watching numerous Deliveroo drivers being prioritized over me. Can someone explain how orders 862, 865, and 866, placed by people whose drivers arrived 40 minutes after my order was placed, were served before my order, number 831, which was still not ready? This locale clearly prioritizes Deliveroo orders over real customers. Not a great experience. No one in London has the time to wait for almost an hour for a simple takeaway.

We liked it a lot, the chicken was just right, the garnishes were great and the sauces were very delicious.

The size and the decoration of the place are outstanding!! I really loved then. Tasty food. However It was not a good experience in general. We asked for a share plate (chicken, rice and chips) for 6. It seems staff doesn't care for the customers at all. Just one woman (waiter) was so nice and smiling. The cashier spoke very fast (with an strange english) and it was really hard to understand her. This because you have to pay your lrder first. The menu was really confusing so we were not sure about what to ask. It is like a self service place. You have to take your table clutery, and sauces by yourself (so do not expect for any service on the table). Personally, I would think it twice if I have to eat again here... The way to order is too complex and they do not explain it to you as they should at the entrance, orders only by QR code, not valid for everyone. I give the service 4 stars, because I want to give a special mention to Sandra, who communicated with us in Spanish and explained how to order (although it was already late, just so she could serve us again). I should also say that the 3 meats we ate were all quite dry and not too tasty and although we asked for them with zero spice, they were quite spicy.

The lady that one taking our order guess she didn’t like my order. Because she mad a face and leave us to another colleague.

Service and staff were amazing. The architecture was beautiful in this Nando’s.

Good restaurant with healthy options

all was perfect, chicken was very good, obvs on extra hot coz I’m hard like that, very friendly waiteress and manager, only downside was a that a bee kept coming to try taste the delicious chicken and since I m not hard like that, I let the bee finish my plate

Huge Nandos. Service is prompt, never seen it full, do great place to dive into for a meal.

The food is good and at a very reasonable price for London. If you go with your family it is a very good option.

Mentioned that I was gluten intolerant and staff were great making sure my meal was safe for me to eat.

Soft and delicate chicken breast, not dry at all. You get to choose different sauces you want to put on. They taste all very unique!

Inside the restaurant is surprisingly pretty, with the original arches and vaulted ceiling being preserved and some nice chandeliers giving it a cosy feel. Ordering is exactly as you’d expect in Nando’s via the app, although the new salads aren’t as interesting as the old ones. Service was somewhat chaotic, with the first salad missing its added chicken and the second it’s added feta, and they’d misplaced our order of garlic bread so it took the server three attempts with the kitchen to get our full order. But otherwise it was a pleasant experience, similar to any other branch.

The experience in this Nandos has been ruined by delivery drivers. Instead of taking 15 minutes the food takes 30+ and not as good quality because it sits under the hot lamp

No photos this time but I'm sure you all know what Nandos looks like. I came here with friends and we had a great time the staff were very friendly and particularly efficient. The food of course was lovely. I love the fact there is a Nandos in such a central location, I hope to come again.

What a stunning interior! Never seen a Nandos like this before. Food and service was great too. Food came out quickly, cooked well and very tasty. Server checked on us to see how things were, very friendly.

It is a Nandos, so it is really down to the location and the atmosphere. Both are good. Ordering in store on the app is still a pain.

Fast food with a different combination and taste

Came in, was told 10-15 minute wait. 4 parties came after me and where sat almost immediately. I had waited nearly 45 minutes for a table. When I finally get one the hostess asked if I had eaten here before, when I told her no she told me to order through the QR code and that was it. She left. WiFi doesn’t even work here, I needed to connect to the pub across the street to even access the QR code. I finally order and seeing as how I’ve gotten no instructions, it’s after I’m getting my food that I am being told where to find napkins, silverware, and even a cup for the drink I ordered. A couple was sat right next to me and the same hostess gave them a whole thorough run down of how to order and where to find everything. I really wanted to love this place as I’ve heard amazing reviews but it has just been absolutely atrocious. The only good thing I can say is the peach tea is good. That’s it.

Warm welcome and superb atmosphere. We were lucky to have a waitress who spoke French. She really helped us in our choices. The meal was very good and if you like the taste of spices and chili, I recommend this place. The grilled chicken was perfect. Thanks Johan!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I came here with my partner and her friend for lunch… service was really bad as we waited so long to order and longer to get our food. £18 per plate for a chicken butterfly, garlic bread and chips just isn’t cutting it! The portion sizes are just tiny! The value for money is stingy for what it is, to make it even worst I tried to use my points which I was told is now only valid for 3 months! Nando’s is the worst place in my eyes to come and eat considering it’s only chicken! Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place for anyone - many other restaurants around the area so better off looking around…

One of the nicest Nando’s I’ve been to. Came with my family for lunch and everything was really good. Had the Family Platter and was more than enough food for 5 of us. Nevaeh was very friendly and an excellent hostess!

I would say this is one of the cooler looking Nandos. It’s right by the river as well so you can get some cool views after you eat!

This was a very pleasant experience. There was a slight mistake with the order but the manager noticed it and approached us without telling any of the staff. Not only the mistake was fixes he also offered a small gift for the inconvenience.

The atmosphere was fine and staff was nice and polite. The time from we ordered food to they served wasn’t to bad considered it was very busy. However, the food was mediocre.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this Nandos and the staff were very lovely and accommodating. Shoutout to Monet, Kai and Aisha who made sure that my daughter and I had an exceptional dining experience.

Really small portions,and they took 30 minutes to give us 1 chocolate pudding

Pretty bad. We came in being foreigners and the staff didn’t even bothered to explain how to order or what to do. So we ended up with two wrap ups and no side dish. We didn’t know you had to specify the side dish and the staff didn’t care. The music is way too loud to keep a conversation and the wrap up was super spicy even I ordered plain. Awful experience.

Good food, relatively low prices. No Internet service inside, which makes ordering difficult since they want you to use the app. Their wifi wouldn't work either.

I'm a huge fan of Nandos and this one didnt disappoint! Really grand building/interior, we asked to be seated upstairs and the server very kindly accepted! After being seated we then noticed that the app said our fav dish was out of stock, so we asked one of the guys there and he said he would sort it out for us, which he did, and we were able to have the dish (great imitator wrap yum) ⭐ Overall a lovely experience!!

In all my years of coming to Nandos and as a regular of Clink Street I've never recieved such horrendous customer service, shockingly from a manager. Sharon made me feel uncomfortable and intimidated. He remained unprofessional after our encounter by walking past our table several times with dirty plates from our finished meal with out collecting. I am disappointed with the experience I recieved from him, was a shame as the rest of the team were amazing but his attitude did not reflect the Nandos I love going to.

Perfect place with perfect atmosphere. And 5 stars to the girl who orchestrates sitting places and does a lot of other duties. Sad, I didn't catch her name.

👍 the smell and taste of chickens, sublime...it looks like these grilled Portuguese chickens. A must in this restaurant chain. Prices are slightly high. Looking forward to going back. The decoration of this restaurant is very nice.

This place was pretty bad. We visited London and this restaurant in winter, therefore it was cold outside but also inside, which was a huge problem and we had to wear jackets inside. Another problem was the chicken burger, which was cold and did not taste very good. Also, the service was quite bad. I had to repeat several times what I wanted to order.

This was our first attempt to eat at this place and was totally ignored. Your customer service is truly lacking. Very good chicken and side dishes.

Yummy Nandos! All the food felt super fresh and when they realized some of our meals hadn't come out they checked with the kitchen and made sure we all got our meals. Loved my grilled pineapple on the thigh sandwich.

I ordered a plain pitta wrap for my super fussy granddaughter, she ate the chips and corn on the cob but when it came to the chicken her face dropped. I tasted it and yes it was spicy. I spoke to someone I assumed was the manager and her got her an almost new meal of mac and cheese. One happy little girl, would 100% recommend.

Ambiance is unique.Staff was not welcoming,she was looking upset seeing with the two buggies we had.

Tasty but oh so tiny chicken wings. The worst mash potato since my school days. The rainbow slaw had just 3 types of veg, so that's a misnomer. Roughly chopped, rather than shredded. And dry. Not enough dressing. The broccoli was the same. In conclusion, they can cook chicken OK but not a lot else. Great location under the arches. It'll always be busy because of being smack bang on the tourist trail but I certainly won't be going back in a hurry.

Great Nandos under the Cannon Street arches, probably one of the nicer ones in London. Didn't have to wait too long for a table on a Saturday evening. Otherwise your typical Nandos but still good food nonetheless.

A spectacular place, as is the food, especially if you like grilled chicken with hot sauce.

Went here one evening after a long day out in the city.. typically all restaurants in the city are very crowded, stuffy & the experience isn’t always great. HOWEVER… this was not at all like every other restaurant. I had a marvellous experience at the Nando's at London Bridge. The sun was setting causing beautiful scenery outside. There was not a long queue at all at we got seated quickly with wonderful service! The staff was very helpful with explaining things to us and letting us know about the ordering process. After we ordered the food came in under half an hour and it was piping hot!! The food was delicious and unlike any other Nando's I had been to before. If your in the city and looking for a nice way to end your evening but also fill your belly.. Nando’s London Bridge is the place for you!

I was misinformed about how I could use my orange reward by one of the employees and ended up spending far more than I should have. When I bought this to the managers attention he quickly and efficiently sorted this out and offered me a dessert for time wasted. Shannon one the nicest employees quickly aided her manager and created the loveliest ambience and service by making sure we were happy, constantly apologising and being empathetic. Her smile and friendly gesture made the whole experience great, despite the initial poor service

Really happy with the service, food arrived shortly after we placed the order. The atmosphere is really unique, we chose that particularly as we wanted something more special to celebrate birthdays and it didn't disappoint!

I am sooooooo impressed with this nando's. Not only is it BEAUTIFUL, the staff were fantastic and they tool my gluten free needs very seriously. Only the manager would serve us due to my dietaries and I felt very safe and taken care of. Honestly, my first visit to London, I was so impressed. Thank you, Nando's! first time at Nando'a, i gotta say thats the better Version of KFC. The lime and herb sauce is so good. i really enjoyed my food. its noch cheap but also not too expensive. i would definitlybuy the sauce from tesco. can recommend if you dont know Nando's its wourthy a visit.

Unique location with a nice ambiente. It took quite long to get noticed by staff and be seated, but besides that they were nice and attentive. The food was good, but some of it was a bit burnt, for example the garlic bread and corn. This ruined a bit the dining experience. Besides that, the chicken was, as always, juicy and so so good.
