Nando's - Clink Street in Southwark

I was taking a walk by Soutbank and I have decided to stop by Nando on Clink street. Unfortunately on this ocasión I was completely disappointed! I regularly visit Nando on Victoria street and I loved, but Nando on Clink str is catastrophe. I have never eaten such a disgusting chicken - no taste, not cooked. The corn on the cob hasn’t been grilled at all. The garlic bread which is my favourite was far from being done properly. The Coca Cola drink was tasting like a water. Not to mention broken door in the toilet and the hygiene everywere was below zero. I think the kitchen people definitely need to be retrained - the quality of food is far from what other branches of Nando can offer.

Unique location with a nice ambiente. It took quite long to get noticed by staff and be seated, but besides that they were nice and attentive. The food was good, but some of it was a bit burnt, for example the garlic bread and corn. This ruined a bit the dining experience. Besides that, the chicken was, as always, juicy and so so good.

first time at Nando'a, i gotta say thats the better Version of KFC. The lime and herb sauce is so good. i really enjoyed my food. its noch cheap but also not too expensive. i would definitlybuy the sauce from tesco. can recommend if you dont know Nando's its wourthy a visit.

Great food, fantastic building and atmosphere. Right by the river in a buzzing area of the city. Highly recommended.

Very unique Nando’s. Some of the food was served “just” warm. And some were hot which was perfect. Non-of the self serve plates were cleaned…! This is a major issue. Some of the staff do not seem interested.

Nando’s in London Bridge is one of the nicest of Nando’s I’ve seen but we had a dinner tonight and received the food in less than 30 seconds from the order, the food felt cold and dated. Must have been left over from the lunch or pre cooked. Not impressed at all.

If you're in London and not brainwashed by the absurd Nandos PR, consider visiting restaurants that serve actual food. Or Borough Market. The staff were great, the place is .. well .. listen, there's just more out there. And by out there i mean around the corner. So don't be lazy and go explore !

When we arrived front house staff was waiting a member of stuff called shannan was unprofessional she carried her self with attuide and was giving dirty looks and come across like she could not be bothered. As we lefted she was giving dirty looks .

Everytime I am visiting UK, Nandos is a must.. i can eat their Fino pita everyday.. just love the Uk menu of Nandos.. i wish Pakistan one have same too..

Was really impressed with the service, every detail was explained to us in a friendly manner. Orders came quickly. Atmosphere was nice, spacious place, good location. Will come back!

Lovely! My first experience with Nando's, but not my last.

We had take away twice during our stay. The second time the chicken was burnt which had au impact on the taste of the whole meal. Apart from that we were greeted very warm when collecting our order and the order was always ready to pick up on time. We didn’t need to wait. Our baby loved the kids mac’n’cheese!

We had lunch with all our family at Nando's Clink Street about one week ago. The place was amazing, with exotic ("tribal") interior design, lights, tables, paintings…and a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is placed in a very picturesque place, beside a pub, under the railway bridge (Cannon Street Railway Bridge) and by itself worth a visit. A very nice restaurant manager and attendants that immediately took care of our special requests (gluten free food and lactose free food). Main dishes and sides were very good and tasted natural (yes, “natural”, that is cooked in a simple and helphy way). For each dish you can choose the “spicy level” you prefer, from light to extremely chilly. Water is free and you can take it by yourself at a dedicated desk. I recommend a visit to this restaurant without hesitation.

Such a beautiful and big Nandos! The servers were incredibly kind and food did not take long after we ordered, despite the restaurant being full of people. It is very large and has a cool design - plus, food was amazing. I wish i could have all the sauces at home and there was a Nandos where I live. Real photos of me before and after i tried nandos:

Food was served very quickly, less than 15mins, post ordering on the mobile. Spaced out between tables.

The plates were dirty. I mean the waiters didn't notice that the plate had not been washed properly. I but the food was good and affordable.

Beautiful location, tasty food, great service, clean.

Bit of a wait to get seated at lunchtime but it is a very busy area with lots of tourists. The staff kept us informed of wait times and got us seated as quick as possible. Food was nice and it was definitely quicker ordering on the app than queuing to place your order.

Nice nandos near Borough Market

Nice food and friendly staff, however it gets very busy during the dinner time and you have to queue.

The food wasn't cooked properly and the chips were cold. To be honest it's the first I've had food from there and it's not nice normally it is good .I was given a full refund. I will be going back soon

Food wasn't nice, it was burnt. In any other Nandos, even nearby you can get much better quality food. The waitress when we arrived straight away said they are expecting to be busy, so... So what??? However the place itself looks great, the atmosphere could be really good. But I won't go there again.

Can't rate food, atmosthere and service was so bad that we just left. Flat Iron apparently is just around the corner! Don't waste your time and money on Nandos! All those unhappy faces and unhelpful staff.. Not to stay in Nandos for dinner was best decision, Flat Iron completely turned the evening around for us!

De camino al Sky Garden quisimos comer por primera vez en Nando’s. Es muy cómodo porque se pide por un codigo QR y te lo llevan a la mesa, hay salsas en el medio y los refrescos son ilimitados. Los empleados fueron muy amables y atentos con nosotros.

Slow service. Some food was cold but we didn't want to wait for them to rectify it and potentially have the same enrolled again. Not impressed with this place.

Can't go wrong with Nandos!!! Lovely food and honestly great service from the guys. A massive shout out especially to Samira, when we arrived the queue was going out the door with multiple people asking questions at the same time, she handled it all with grace and literally saved our night by getting us seated asap (we had a cinema booked for after) 🫶

Lovely Nandos location, great atmosphere, spotlessly clean, obviously well managed and staff super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and came out promptly. Shout out to Adrian the host who did a great job warmly welcoming us to the space and getting us to a table and running us through how everything works.

Even though the restaurant was busy due to Xmas, the staff did a very well job. The food was served on time and the service was excellent. The staffs were managing the crowd well.

My all time favourite branch of Nandos. Walked a long way for this and it was worth it. Update Again worth the trip. After this branch our local one seems very mediocre. I love the atmosphere and unique building at Clink St. Food was good. Service very efficient. Staff so polite, patient and helpful. Really pleasant. Enjoying the end of my apple cider which BTW wasn't on the app but a staff member kindly told us it was at the counter. Heard there's renovations next month. Hopefully it won't spoil anything as its perfect as it is. Thank you!

So the food at Nando's is always nice. It's chicken. Kinda hard to get really wrong. This Nando's is in the heart of the City, and so of course it's busy. The tables are packed in and any loud people on the table next to you are probably closer than your other half would sit if you were eating dinner at home. That's just a given, but it means the atmosphere is utterly dependent on those around you. Fortunately, this Nandos is just next to the Cutty Sark and the old Bishops of Westminster's palace, and this coupled with the mad Victorian architecture more than made up for this. I'll go back if I'm in the neighborhood and hungry.

Good food, nice place with a terrible customer service. They didn’t allow us to sit on the tables upstairs. A member of staff said we don’t let people to dine upstairs from 10:00 and when we objected that it is 9:30 now. He said he will talk to the manager that never happened! Other than that, We ordered drinks with our food and requested to have them first. We have got our food on the table but they didn’t bring the drinks. We asked 2 members of staff separately . One of those murmured and hurried away when we asked him a few minutes later for the second time. The manager came to us to see if we are happy with the service. we explained and requested to have our drinks. He apologised, but disappeared. So, I desperately decided to ask and take it again at the counter.

Unfortunately, even if you order online, you have to wait for your order more than 25mn while having to queue as walk-in orders, while the staff ignores you. Bad takeaway experience

Easily the best Nando’s experience I’ve had… staff were super friendly, service was next level. And the food was exactly what you would want! Best Nando’s in london because the staff here were superb!

Food is always good at nandos! Cannot fault on that part. The service and atmosphere however is poor. The waitresses and waiters can not seem to be bothered, talking in front of customers by their tables, no plates or cups, forgetting half the order, the table we were taken to was wet and dirty, I had to ask for it, to be cleaned, it was one thing after another, it wasn't as if it was busy. Quite the opposite. Sunday afternoon and practically empty. The atmosphere was non-existent, probably the worst nandos I've been to and it's a shame as it's beautiful and so historical and a large space too. With lovely decor. Unfortunately it does not meet the typical standards of nandos. I won't be returning.

Great service from the staff at this branch. From the moment we stepped in and until we left all were helpful not only to me and my family but to everyone that walked in. Will visit again and highly recommend!

Have had to downgrade my initial review as the upstairs level from where you have a lovely view of the river is closed. I suspect it may be opened if busy but can't confirm this. As this was the chief reason for visiting I will no longer use this branch of Nandos. Incredibly bad business practice from Nandos.

Coleslaw (or rainbow slaw as I was corrected for calling it Coleslaw by the manager) had no mayonnaise and was essentially just dry ingredients. Not particularly busy and yet not the full range of condiments available.

Felt understaffed, long waits for food and the quality really was a let down with cold food and stale ingredients. This isn’t a restaurant, the ordering process is identical to Wetherspoons and the quality of food is getting to about par with them too, except without the low prices.

Must admit I wasn't expecting much from a resturant in a very busy part of London. Pleasantly suprised . Food and service both excellent

Total disrespect and worse customer service received literally can’t even say a Sorry!! . The manager doesn’t even care. Spoiled our whole day. Spoke to the management. (Danny) did nothing about it !!!!

I enjoy Nandos but l was disappointed by the food. Ordered lemon and herb, tasted like washed chicken. No flavour. No plants available and when I asked for 4 plates only got one. When I asked for the remaining 3 l got told the plates are now available to collect. Ordered a bottle of wine only got 1 glass. I kept asking for missing items and our waitress was getting annoyed which in turn made us feel like we were being a nuisance. If crockery was available in the first instance l wouldn't have to ask. Won't be returning back.

Professional staff, and I got two moist pieces of chicken. Usually, you get one nasty dry bit, so well done cook.

Places was not busy but had to wait at the door for 5 mins before being seated. Only one till open but 2 staff members servicing deliver drivers. Knife and fork was dirty 🤢.

Food is nice and the restaurant looks nice. The ordering takes ages, you have to open an account with your credit card. You can order on the till but that took ages too as only one was open.

Nando's in Clink Street offers delicious chicken with a wide variety of options to choose from. The chicken itself is undoubtedly good, but it's worth noting that it can be a bit on the pricey side. On the plus side, they offer endless soda refills, which can be a great value for those who enjoy a refreshing drink with their meal.

This was my first time here. I got the Peri-Peri Chicken 4 boneless chicken thighs with mashed potatoes and spicy rice. I got it Hot, and it had a little bit of a kick to it. The chicken was very good, and the spicy rice was delicious! I liked trying the different spices. It’s easy to order the food from your phone, and then they bring it out to your table. I recommend this place!

On top of "obviously" great food, we experienced ourstanding service and also the location was fantastic, picturesque interior.

Food tastes really good! Ordering System from the tables is just a little unusual and impractical, no Option to pay by Cash. Otherwise really amazing, coming from an european!
