Pret a Manger in Southwark

Smaller Pret but with a good enough food selection, including some of my fav items of theirs This wouldn’t be my go-to location, as seating is very limited and the place itself isn’t the best, but it’s also not a bad option if you’re in the area

The place was good. Please note that all products are of plant origin. I went one day in the afternoon and there was not much variety of bakery products.

Place was clean although very noisy and cold. Seems aircon was for the staff instead of for costumers. The lady at the till was friendly and helpful.

Visited around 1pm on Tuesday. One male staff (not wearing glasses one) rude and unfriendly and discriminatory

Small branch with limited seating, but friendly staff and good tasting chai. If we would have stayed in the neighborhood we would have returned.

I appreciate Pret for its style and products. That being said, I would like Management to pay attention to an important detail. It happened too many times and in different locations. Some stuff members (based on habit or lack of training/common sense) stick their fingers in your cup before pouring the drink/boiled water which is off putting. Makes me think twice about my subscription which in my case is a good deal. Not to mention that hands are used on the till and other items, not being washed (I can accept that, just don't put your fingers inside the cup and hold it externally). Take this as you want, just stating some facts. It's small details that are big in fact.

I liked it. Typical smallish Pret but the company does a good job with all of its outlets. Has all the typical Pret goodies they are known for, and the excellent service and staff. Great location, and it has a unisex, handicap, baby change station restroom which sets it apart from nextdoor competition and earns my business any time. Recommended.

What on earth are the 2% of us allergic to oxidised limonene (in all mayo, mustard, hetbs, spices and vegetable/seed oils... giving people IBS-like symptoms) supposed to be able to eat at Pret...? Really constrantly frustrated that it doesn't provide a safe inclusive menu.

The Prets are all the same: very fresh and good food. There are various vegetarian and vegan options. Excellent value for money.

Standard Pret fare in small restaurant conveniently close to Tate Modern. Limited facilities due to small size.

Rather unfriendly staff served me one morning. Staff aren't very welcoming nor are they interested to.

Very busy, always a long queue for coffee. Very little seating. The whole pret experience is pretty bad nowadays since the sub.

Honestly, there are some interesting soups that they serve but let's be honest the best food is the one you make at home. What I like about Pret is the orange juice that you sometimes find fresh and the fact that they seem to do a good job keeping products considerably healthy. They also have organic products wich is a plus.

Always a good selection of healthy food options and friendly and efficient service.

Zero stars. Won't accept reuseable cups when other Prets and competitors do. Said I would still get the discount but told her I wasn't interested in paying less, but wasting less.

If you are for a "high range" sub, it is the place. Options for everyone.

One of the workers was very root (tall and big man with dark hair), the food and caffee are good but does not make sense when are served with bad atittude. The toilets are not working too.

Great Pret not far from Tate Modern, so handy for a meal or snack when getting an arty culture fix! Motivated to write a review as there's always very cheery staff in this branch, with quick service which makes it a pleasure to visit

Most of the food here is pretentious overpriced nonsense. Luckily the crisis and juice are okay, and they have a small selection of simple food which is slightly above average. I try to avoid Prets, but the nearby cafes were full this time.

This is a fairly new Pret so it’s clean and tidy and not overly worn. It’s got an average selection of sandwiches and salads with a small complement of warm boxed meals. This suffers like so many Pret’s from being wiped out by the locust like lunch crowd.

The bearded short bald member of staff was incredibly rude when we ordered a decaf cappuccino despite not serving us or working the same till

We witnessed a huge amount of people who weren’t customers using the seating. They would leave the rubbish from the customers before and sit and talk or use their laptops. We also saw a huge group of 6-8 people just sitting talking for our whole meal they walked down the steps with no food etc and got their own food out after a while. This is frustrating for actual customers who pay and can’t get seating. All in all it was clean and staff friendly but it’s soo busy that they don’t notice the people who are just using their seating without actually buying anything.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Very busy but with very efficient service and a good range of takeaway snacks and drinks. We shared wraps and sandwiches, both fine.

Disappointing experience with my meal today. The soup was barely warm and the service was not any better. Not recommended.

I've been in this Pret branch just 5 min ago and I did not have a good costumer service experience. I've ordered just a Chocolate croissant but the Barista has been very rude to me, like he wanted to force me to ask him " how are you?". As long as you say hello, thank you and please, I'm not obligated to have any sort of conversation. He made feel very bad. Maybe they should revise their costumer interaction. Not a good way to start my Sunday.

Service is not what one can expect (having to repeat an order of two items twice on a not busy time at the shop), not very friendly staff and small coffee went up to £2.55 whereas the cheaper coffee was a good reason to come to Pret. Is Pret growing to big to still be good? Egg sandwich still tastes fresh and well. Ah, sitting here for a while, now I get it. I’m not a woman 😂 So, it’s a like a kebab house serving sandwiches and coffee! 😅

This particular location is as good as any. The staff was very friendly and the food was well prepared. Their special club sandwich was particularly good as well as the tomato bisque which were enjoyable. This is one of the most successful local chains that offers good quality food, organic ingredients, and reasonable prices in London. If you see one at any location you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and have generally enjoyed going these cafes as their flat white coffee have been pretty good. Not at this one. I couldn’t drink it even with extra sugar!

It is Pret a Manger, so...sometimes it is really good, soemtimes it is not. This one is average. The offering was restricted, staff didn't appeared to be bothered a lot. But still better than a lot of other sandwich shops

Ideal para un refrigero rápido y barato. Si hace frío tienes opciones calientes como pasta o sopa de miso. Si eres vegetariano hay una gran variedad de sandwich aptos. Lo mejor el rollo de canela!

Its not to busy on the counter so served quickly but there can be no space on the indoor tables . friendly staff and usual decent coffee and food . no issues .

Eine ansprechende Imbiss / Cafe Kette ueberall in London, wo man eine gute Tasse Kaffee und ein Snack oder Stueck Kuchen finden kann, auch nette Personal und gute Preise.

It's ok, but don't like the way Pret charge VAT if you choose to dine in. According to them they have to, yet with other places the price you see is the price you pay dine in or takeaway.

Large branch of Pret with a larger than average selection of sandwiches and snacks. The sausage and egg breakfast barms are particularly delicious. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. A very busy branch with a fast turnover of customers.
