Pret A Manger in Southwark

Lately, it seems that the quality of your croissants has taken a noticeable dip. They no longer exhibit the flaky, buttery perfection that I have come to expect from your cafe. Instead, they taste more like heated flour than the delicious pastries I once enjoyed. It's disheartening to say that the experience has been far from satisfying, and it's hard to believe that these are the same croissants that used to be a highlight of my visits.

Average place when we came here 15 years ago was much better now the food is very bland.

Fine service, but there was no wifi? Tables were wobbly and the coach cushions were ripped apart. This store needs repairs.

I normally only go to pret when I'm travelling. Would go back to this one as the staff were friendly and polite. Lowish scores on food as it had no hot food options ready. Atmosphere, well a pret is a pret.

Coffee quality and taste gets worse day by day.

Great selection, really nice food and a really clean and pleasant environment to be in. The stand out thing was the staff, though. Really helpfuk, freindly and super efficient. Pret coffee isn't the best but it was RAPID and delivered with a smile.

Delicious sandwiches and coffee. prices are a ted bit high for my likings specially the hot foods. Toilet facilities are there as well as drinkable water fountain

Second day of casual passive aggressive service (wasn't sure on the first day if it was in my head or actually happening - it was actually happening). Won't be returning here anymore @Pret 👌🏾.

Been quite a few times. I always say oat milk but most times, especially when there is no one in they just put regular milk. I have a lot of allergies which can be quite dangerous when the wrong milk is given. I thought pret were being more careful with this due to what has happened in the past? Coffee always tastes burnt. The man (not sure his name) makes the coffee without the burnt taste.

Samantha is an exceptionally rude staff member. Everyone else in the staff was lovely on the times I went (I live just nearby so almost every week), but something needs to be done about her…

Possibly the slowest Pret anywhere outside of an airport. Repeatedly incapable of anticipating a morning rush at rush hour… you literally have one job.

Exceptionally rude staff. If you like to pay good money for coffee, then be barked at to wait outside while they chaotically shout orders that you struggle to hear, then this is the place for you.

Average quality coffee but good snacks. Would suggest choosing somewhere else if you're a true lover of proper cpffee

Really rude staff. Samantha is so aggressive ! I forgot to say I wanted oat milk, everything I wanted a was out of stock so I said I’ll just take a chai forgetting to state oat. She charges up to me and says so rudely “get it right next time”. Awful person!

Prefer the management pre the pandemic. Was more friendly. Busy weekdays. Nice on Saturdays.

There was not much choice of food when I went compared to other branches considering I went at the start of lunch time. Usually plenty of seats if you fancy eating in.

Bathroom out of order so nowhere to wash your hands, not amazing during a pandemic

Usual pret, but disappointed that the toilet is still out of order (other reviews from months ago complained of this too). Charging sockets available and good space to sit.

I asked for decaf tea and was told they don't do decaf tea only decaf coffee. Girl said she had not even heard of decaf tea,l told her I've been drinking it for 13 years. So had decaf skinny latte.Other than that it's a nice place.

Très chouette endroit pour un déjeuner sur le pouce. Beaucoup de variétés, de quoi manger sain pour pas cher. Plats végétariens en grand nombre.

Fresh food and professional staff

The staff were quite pleasent. The enviroment felt a lil chaotic hence not giving 5 stars good customer service. Though.

I know that these places are convenient, and I suppose I can understand why they are always so crowded, but, well, they are over priced, too crowded, too few comfortable places to sit. They pretend to be a coffee house ,but they've not build the restaurants with enough seats to accommodate visitors, and the lines interfere with the enjoyment of sitting there. Find a local coffee or tea house. Not this place.

Everything was good except the toilets.

This Outlet is just across the road from South Kensington Tube Station, and well worth visiting - their Snacks offering is very good, their Coffee is excellent, and their Staff are, most times at least, very good too. We came here a few times during our latest stay in this area, and it surely says something that we came back more than once (there are lots of Cafes in this neighbourhood). Our favourite Snacks were the Cheese/Ham Toastie & the Mediterrean Wrap - along with various Smoothies. Of course, we several times enjoyed an "Americano" and a "Cappuccino" here - it was notable that at the Counter, I was asked did I prefer hot or cold milk with my "Americano"? On all of our visits, Staff were good-humoured and effective - Thank-you to all who work here! Finding a seat in this extremely popular Outlet can be a bit of a challenge, but don't let that put you off coming here!

I have become a regular customer for this place since I started my LSBU early this year, I haven't seen this type of welcoming and service since I moved from my homeland Ireland, there are two guys in particular are different from the rest of their colleagues, they give their customers that extraordinary attention that can't be gone unnoticed, I would like to thank Djamal and Omar for their exceptional service and smile that made me want to visit this place every time I pass by, morning and/or evening. You can get healthy lunch and have group lunch too. I am allergic to dairy and gluten. This is common for those who have gluten allergies have also dairy allergies. But unfortunately Pret cannot cater to us. For allergy description on food labels, it is still following that big useless book. It is time they gear up and improve their allergy advise better like other competitors in the market.

This guy called bruno. Is a complete legend. He was very laughy and jokey and made my visit very enjoyable. This pret is unbelievable and is better than any other pret I have been in. Great pret. Really great pret/

Two sandwiches, one dry the other too much mayo...what to do? They are a sandwich bar. Should be (and in my experience usually are) better than this...

Good food but there's really a problem when you order coffee. You could be waiting for a long time and then you're not even given the sleeve that protects you from burning your hands. Generally it seems that people working there hate it when you ask for coffee.

I often use branches of Pret A Manger as I have always found consistency in standards and this branch is no exception. Service was friendly and fast and coffee excellent. I like the vegetarian rolls which are made with delicious bread and interesting fillings - which you do not find in other chains of this variety. It is a large, clean, airy store and I would return here.

This is by far the best coffee shop in Southwark. The lady who runs it has trained her team to appreciate regular customers. There are 6 coffee shops within a 10 minute walk of my house. I keep returning to this for a reason.

Your basic Pret A Manger. Sandwiches are fresh and taste good. Avoid sitting in the back towards the wall. Due to the air conditioning it can be quite chilly there.

Love this little place. Coffee and food very good and service is fast! Try the sandwiches and/or the yogurt/pudding cups. Pleasant place to hang out with your coffee and computer.

Every so often I get a free coffee... Really good staff, I wouldn't get coffee anywhere else in the area.

I just popped in for a cup of afternoon tea but felt I needed to write a review after a simple act of kindness. As a sufferer of arthritis, I was tempted to try the turmeric tea which is, I think, a new addition to the menu. Being a bit cautious, I cheekily asked if it tasted ok - well, I wanted to enjoy it - and they offered me one on the house! I was really touched and still ordered my peppermint tea, just in case. As it turned out, the turmeric tea was lovely. I think the coconut milk is a genius addition. Thank you, Pret!

Great food, fast, delicious, and well-priced. Seriously, this needs to be in the US. I think I will have cucumber on my tuna salad sandwiches from this day forth.

The coffee maker spent the entire time I was there blaming everyone else for his mistakes. He made four wrong drinks and my hot chocolate took over ten minutes to arrive. Avoid. Not even that busy and five staff on.

It's a Pret...they are all exactly the same.

It's a Pret so you know what you are getting. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Really went out of their way to help a lady in a wheel chair while I was there.

while traveling in London and in Paris. We used a number of the restaurants by this name and were well pleased with thethe quality of food and the fast service and have no hesitation in recommending they be used by travelers.

Pret is a high quality fast food chain and there are branches all over London. This one is in a good location and easy to find. The food is uniformly fresh and good. Sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts and a few specialties make up the menu and you can eat there or pick a prepared package from the refrigerated section, order a coffee to go and you are all set. I usually eat inside the cafe and enjoy watching other people or socialize with someone I'm with over a cup of tea and (often) a chicken or prawn salad sandwich.

Typical pret offering a range of fresh sandwiches and lunchtime treats. Love the tuna baguette Friendly staff and always helpful a pleasure to visit. They have lots of seating too. It's always fresh and clean which is a big bonus.

Friendly service, good selection of tasty food to go or eat in. On the weekend it's quiet and they had run out of a few things.

Besides being near to a Sainsbury's local, this particular Pret A Manger store was always clean, cozy and its supplies were always filled. They have this incredible blueberry muffin with jelly inside! The food is always fresh and really tasty. They have vegan/vegetarian options also! A huge plus to a barista called Luciano, who would always have a big smile and would always perform a nice service!

Pricey but quiet and nice food.

This place was ok. Nothing too special about it. Got the cappuccino. I like that it's organic. And they have free wifi!
