I visited this restaurant recently and, although I appreciated being seated quickly, I asked to move from a high seat to a standard table for comfort. The waitress said, “one second/moment” but turned to a man in a suit — possibly the manager — who muttered something from a distance without directly acknowledging my request. No one followed up, and I was left feeling ignored. We spent nearly £100, so I expected a more professional level of service. Sadly, the staff came across as indifferent and disengaged. I couldn’t help but feel that my appearance or background might have influenced the way I was treated, which was disappointing — especially in a multicultural city like London. That said, the food was good, and the initial seating was prompt, so I’ve rated it 3 stars.

We popped out for a couple of drinks on Saturday and ended up living our best carb-filled, sunshine-soaked dream at Tapas Brindisa. I'd walked past this place for years—always rammed, always tempting—but somehow, in the middle of what felt like 10,000 people at Borough Market, we scored a sunny table outside (shoutout to the lovely server who made it happen). We kicked things off with two very strong, very perfect margaritas. Then came the Pan con Tomate, the Croquetas de Jamón, some kind of melted cheese magic (Queso Fundido), garlic galore (Gambas al Ajillo), and the sauciest pork belly (Panceta Ibérica) that demanded extra bread just to mop it up. Honestly, if I wasn't in public, I would've licked the bowls. Finished it all off with espresso martinis for dessert because… balance. Final bill? About £180. Jesussss!!! We weren't checking prices—just vibes. Would I go back? Absolutely. But next time, I'll save it for a very special occasion… not just a casual Saturday stroll through London. We had 5 small plates and 4 drinks, my wallet can't afford it! Until next time...... See more restaurant reviews on Insta @EncyclopediaOfWineandDine

What a fun experience tonight at Brindisa. Mum and I choose 4 tapas to share amd we were served by the amazing Eliza. She was the perfect balance of giving us the attention we needed, while also giving us space to enjoy the experience. I originally wanted to have a meal, but unfortunately, Paella is no longer sold here, so I had to order the similar ARROZ NEGRO instead. It is cuttlefish risotto with lemon flavor. It is delicious but will be cloying if you eat too much. It seems that too much garlic mayonnaise is used.

The waiter is very insistent and literally takes the plates from under your nose when you don't have time to swallow. You won't have time to read the entire menu and the waiter is already standing over you and asking what you choose, breathing down your neck. Additionally, when ordering, despite the small crowd, he forgot to bring everything. Unfortunately, the food is also not impressive. I advise you not to go to the toilet.

A truly wonderful evening from start to finish. After a relaxed drink at the bar, we were promptly shown to our table. The food was excellent. I had the lamb, which came highly recommended - beautifully cooked, tender, and full of flavour. I also couldn’t resist ordering the prawns, a standout from a previous visit. They were every bit as delicious as I remembered. A special thanks to Marta and Kiera, whose thoughtful recommendations and warm service made us feel genuinely looked after. This place continues to impress - I’ll absolutely be returning.

We visited this place with a friend and had a very disappointing experience. After being seated, my friend went to the toilet, and while she was away, a member of staff asked if I wanted a drink. I explained that I would wait until my friend returned. However, no one offered us any water or came back to check on us. Meanwhile, the staff were attentively serving all the tables around us, yet completely ignored ours. We waited for over 10 minutes without anyone approaching us again. Feeling completely overlooked and unwelcome, we sadly decided to leave. Overall, it was a very poor first impression and we won’t be coming back.

Amazing food. Excellent service. Mediocre atmosphere. ✨ This is a tapas restaurant. For those not familiar, "tapas" is a style of dining where people share small plates for the table. For 3 people, we had 5 plates + dessert + wine l. But if you're really hungry you might want to order more as portion sizes are towards the small end. I recommend the Jamon Croquettes (overpriced but delicious), the "patatas bravas", and the "Spanish Tortilla". Was not happy with "Pan con tomate" and would not recommend it. I've had better. Being in central London, expect to pay a premium (e.g £8.50 for three croquettes) plus a 13.5% service charge, instead of the typical 12.5%. The atmosphere is underwhelming. During our visit it was extremely packed and noisy. If someone was ordering at the bar, they would brush backs with someone dining at a table. Very tightly packed tables, to maximise profits. Not pleasant at all from a customer view. A booking is recommended.

I’ve known Brindisa as a brand for years, and it always had a great quality, would it be food or service. Today, I visited Brindisa for the first time in over a year, and I’ve been struck unexpectedly. Since my last visit, the food has elevated massively (not that I was expecting it, so this was a nice surprise). Momo (our waiter) was super attentive and super friendly, and massive big-up (pardon my language) for the Iberico Wellington. It genuinely melted in my mouth, thank to Chef Marcos (who’s recipe it was) that came to our table at the end of our evening. If you don’t come to try the wellington, you’re missing out in life. We have eaten at Tapa Brindisa in Soho a few times and has been outstanding, both service and food, so we decided to try the London Bridge for a small family get together over Xmas. Mid-afternoon on a Sunday and were shown straight to a table. The bench seating along the back wall was uncomfortable and the restaurant was a bit chilly to be comfortable (it struck me as odd that the staff were all wearing gilets). The service was rushed to the point that we were asked if we wanted to order some food as we were seated, which we didn't, we wanted to order some wine and water and look at the menu first. The wine came promptly but we had to ask three times for the water and eventually had a carafe delivered to the table, then another, and nearly a third but the waitress realised just before getting to us that we already had some! There didn't seem to be any organisation as to who was serving us as we were approached by a couple of different members of staff about ordering and finding ourselves repeating what we had just told the other member of staff. The food was excellent, came out quickly, as we had hoped and helped to make up for the chaotic start but don't think we would go back to this one again in a hurry and back to Soho next time - a more comfortable and relaxed vibe.

I am well aware times have changed and Brindisa is not what it used to be, the food is still delicious, and there is where the positives ends, the waiting staff have interrupted our conversations countless times in the 2 hour catch up that I have with 2 of my dearest people with whom I have not shared a meal in a long time. We used to get together at Brindisa for many years and we were all more than happy to have conversations with the staff back then. Today we were basically rushed the entire time, when we ordered the pork belly the waiter decided it was “too fat” for us and that we would prefer the solomillo wellington instead, if you know of Spanish food or any food at all you’d know those are very different dishes, he “suggested” that dish not once but three times, of course we ended up not having either, so nobody won, shame. As I mentioned the food was delicious, but the prices and the lack of attention (please don’t ask me if I’m finished when I’m speaking and my friends are still eating, that’s just manners at their basics, guys) are not going to make me come back. Every glass and plate was almost removed just before being completely empty, and also there’s the universal cutlery code for “I’m finished”, if you and you’re boss don’t know it I’m sure you can google it) the bill was produced in front of us without request, and when I tried to pay I was rushed back onto my table making it really awkward for my guests and myself to witness. When we were getting ready to leave, the waiter was desperately standing next to my elderly friend who was taking her time to pick up her stuff. I said “you can certainly give us another minute” to which he replied through his teeth “yes of course” without moving a centimetre away. Awkward. Again. Manners. Again. Brindisa is no longer the pleasant chilled Spanish experience it used to be. Oh well, another reason to stay in, spend less, cook more and entertain friends the way they deserve: at home.

Tapas Brindisa at London Bridge is a fantastic spot for amazing Spanish food with exceptional service. We started with the tomato bruschetta, olives, and potatoes as appetizers. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I do wish the bruschetta was warm, but I believe it’s traditionally served cool. Either way, it was delicious! For our main dish, we shared the lamb shoulder (I can’t recall the exact name from the menu), and let me tell you—it was one of the best meats I’ve ever had in my life. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, it was truly unforgettable. If you go, don’t miss the lamb shoulder—it’s an absolute must-try! The highlight of our experience was the incredible staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Mohamed, our waiter. He was extremely attentive and recommended the best dishes for us to try. We ate here on a Saturday evening. Service behind the bar was superb, a lovely lady talked me through a few wines to choose from. As is standard, we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. We were given a table for 2 (we were a group of 3), so it was a tight squeeze but we let it go, and when the two ladies next to us finished up, we asked if we could add their table on to ours to make it a bit bigger. Food was very good, although the squid ink risotto was a bit disappointing. We were just about to order desserts and another bottle of wine, when we were told by the manager that we had exceeded our time limit and needed to settle up. Nobody had mentioned this when we sat down. We explained that we wanted to order more, but this fell on deaf ears. We paid and went next door to Bedales where we had much better service. We spent just shy of £300 and would have spent more, were it not for being pushed out. Won’t be back.

Good food but big door wide open. In winter, it is eating in a fridge... Will not come back in autumn or winter. I said it was very cold to the management but it seems it was my problem.... People were keeping their coats and it was ~10C+ degrees that day... It is far from a restaurant feeling...if you want to be indoors but have the feeling to eat outside, it is the place to be...

We ate there this afternoon, after visiting the Borought Market. The truth is that it has been a total success. We tried the acorn-fed ham and the garlic prawns that the waiter recommended and the truth is that they were spectacular. Furthermore, the service has been very good, specifically I highlight Andrés, who was very attentive and friendly to us. It all adds up and of course, we will repeat on our next trip to London.

I loved the restaurant but I think it was a little expensive for the amount of food. Andrés attended to us and was incredibly kind to us! Always attentive and friendly, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Thank you Tapas Brindisa for having the best experience. What I liked the most was the tortilla española, croquetas jamón and huevos rotos con sobrasada. I wanted to thank Andres, especially, really kind, professional and helpful, the best waiter.

You’ll eat what you’re given! I went as part of a group of 8 ( I didn’t book) For this many people you have to have a set menu- no veering from the path. Too much tomato bread padding out the meal. The cod was very nice. The chips were from a frozen bag. The pudding was a large crème caramel to share for the table. Not everyone’s favourite but the server was adamant and not particularly pleasant about it. We ended up ordering extra puddings at extra cost. I won’t be rushing back

Las peores tapas que he probado en Londres - insípidas - muy caras - sin ambiente - hacía frío helado. Pagamos 160 libras extorsivas por 2 personas - nunca más

It was my second time there and I can say it was a mistake to go there. These are the worst tapas I’ve ever had. Most of the food looks and rates as if it’s straight from a can. Do not go there!
