Met up some old friends there for a drink and chat. We didn't eat. It wasn't brilliant, but it was okay. Comfortable. The layout is as it is a bar, and then there is a function hall at the back. It's a bit like an extension. Could do with a lick of paint 🎨 and sprucing up into 2025! Where's Gordon Ramsey when you need him?👀 😅

¡Mi amigo y yo visitamos anoche y estábamos muy contentos con nuestra experiencia y estamos ansiosos por volver! La comida era deliciosa: comimos papas fritas, chapatti, pollo al ajo, albóndigas boona, tarka daal y bhindi bhaaji. Nuestras bebidas también eran encantadoras: Rioja y un martín pescador. El servicio fue excelente por parte de todos: realmente acogedor, amable y educado. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Ubicado en el corazón de Blackheath, muy conveniente para la estación de tren y las rutas de autobuses.

Impresionante comida. Llevé a mi amigo aquí por su cumpleaños, al restaurante en la parte trasera del pub, y toda la experiencia fue perfecta. Cada uno tenía un entrante y plato principal bañado con un poco de buena cerveza y vino. Nathaniel era nuestro anfitrión y era muy servicial y atento. ¡No nos apresuraron, que es un verdadero odio a las mascotas! La comida era deliciosa, el hummus de remolacha, la lubina, la trucha y la hamburguesa con queso estaban magníficamente juntos. ¡10 de 10!

We love the Buenos Aires restaurant in Blackheath. We have been to Argentina for our honey moon and this reminds us of our fabulous trip. The steaks are great, the Malbec wines are delicious and there are plenty of options for my vegetarian husband. He had a huge pizza, which was incredibly tasty and filling. We will definitely go back again.

Dear Restaurant Management, I am writing to express my profound disappointment following my recent visit to your establishment. I chose to return based on a previous positive experience, but this visit proved to be deeply unsatisfactory for several reasons. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that only three tables were occupied while the rest of the restaurant sat empty. Despite the apparent lack of customers, the service was far below expectations. In fact, I had to request the menu four separate times, as if the staff were entirely preoccupied and unable to attend to us. Furthermore, when we placed our order, no one inquired about food allergies—an essential aspect of customer care. Our meals were served without proper attention: the cutlery was not provided until we specifically reminded the staff after our food had been served, and we even had to clear our plates ourselves due to the overall lack of attention. Adding to our frustration, when we requested a beer from a passing waitress, we experienced a delay of nearly ten minutes. We ultimately had to alert the bartender again to receive our drink. The situation deteriorated further when we discovered hairs in our food. Initially, we suspected it might be an isolated incident; however, when a second hair was found, it became clear that this was not a one-off mistake. The response from our waitress was shockingly unprofessional—she laughed and dismissively insisted that the hairs could not have come from your establishment. Additionally, we were asked to leave at 9:30 PM, despite the restaurant’s website stating that you are open until 10:00 PM. When we inquired about this discrepancy, the waitstaff explained that they close earlier if there are no customers. This further added to our sense of dissatisfaction and confusion about your service practices. I must add that it is a pity we did not have to pay any service fee on that occasion, as the food was actually tasty. However, good cuisine alone cannot compensate for the overall poor service and disregard for proper customer care. I sincerely hope you will take these issues seriously and implement the necessary measures to ensure that such service oversights do not recur. I look forward to learning about the steps you plan to take to restore the high standard of service that I once admired.

El servicio fue muy amable y puntual. Los cócteles y el vino eran preciosos y las porciones eran de un buen tamaño. Probablemente pedimos demasiados. Un poco decepcionado de que bastantes de las tapas que pedimos estaban fritas. El filete de ternera era muy agradable.

Décevant, accueil froid milieu d'après-midi. Nous avons pris à 4 une carafe de vin rouge, la serveuse ne nous a pas présenté la bouteille, elle a fait le transfert au bar sans que l'on sache si c'était bien le vin que nous avions commandé...Nous sommes répartis comme nous étions arrivés...

Mirando el menú antes de ir tenían una serie de platos diferentes que no había visto antes y quería probar. El arroz con limón y chile es un cambio de caña para mí. Nunca lo había visto antes en un menú y fue fantástico. El plato de cordero mentado que tenía era absolutamente fantástico. El cordero se derritió cuando lo cortaste. Perfección absoluta. El personal era muy amable y respondió a cualquier pregunta sobre los diversos currys y muy atento.

Booked for Saturday 7th March after visiting Blackheath for the first time and happened to pass by the restaurant. When we arrived we were shown to a table which was a little cramped for a member of our party. With no hesitation we were shown to another table by the friendly staff. Our waiter Abdoul was an extremely helpful and cheerful guy and nothing was too much trouble. (We had to try several different wines before deciding on one). The food was excellent and plentiful and the atmosphere "buzzy" without being intrusive. All four of us were very happy with the service, quality of food and wine. 5 stars without question.
