Everest Inn - Blackheath Village in Lewisham

We enjoyed the free flowing brunch. A truly incredible experience. Most bottomless brunch experiences are more about the drink than the food, but here the food was INCREDIBLE. We particularly enjoyed the sharing platters, which were wonderfully unique with excellent flavour profiles. The prosecco, wine and beer was a genuine bonus that complements the food superbly. We will definitely be back.

Wish I’d taken photos but it was so good it was gone before we could! Great spot in the village! Rich and delicious sauces, meat succulent and perfectly cooked & great portions. My husband and I share a main with some bread and sides and are never disappointed. Staff are always friendly and genuine!

Had a fantastic lunch here with family while celebrating our birthday at Everest Inn. The food was amazing, the cocktails were fantastic, and my favorite was the Smoky Himalayas. They even surprised us with complimentary birthday desserts—how nice! Huge thanks to all the staff and team. Highly recommended!

My partner and I ordered from Deliveroo on New Years Day and our food was delayed. When it arrived it was accompanied with a massive apology. We didn’t mind… we expected our food to be delayed as it is a bank holiday. It was delicious, the chicken tikka masala was delicious and very reasonably priced. What we didn’t expect was the next day, the gentleman who delivered our order brought us a voucher for money off our next order as well as a written apology. This is a testament to the lovely people who run this place, when do you ever see anything like this happen? Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to visiting the Everest Inn for more food ⭐️

Really friendly, welcoming host who fitted us in on New Year's Eve without a booking. The food was lovely - the stand out dish was the starter of lamb ribs - so tasty and succulent. A really nice evening with great food 😋😊🥳

Lovely food and authentic cocktails. We visited with the friends and we loved the Nepalese twist cocktails like Jiri and Himalayas and the authentic Nepalese Food.

We haven’t eaten here for a year because last time items where missing from the order and it took about 3 weeks to get a refund after several emails and phone calls. This time we had: £6ish vegetable curry side: inedible- it had so much water in the sauce it was drawning in water. More like a soap than curry. £3 each 2 x nan: I’ve never had raw nans before. A new low. A strip of raw pastry in each nan. £16ish for the chicken rice thingy: strange off putting garnish on the top. Ignored that. I was just saying how tasty it was when I bit in to a bit of chicken that felt like biting into leather. A very strange sensation. The 2nd bite scenarios starting going through my head. Is this chicken still frozen? Has it been left on the side or in the fridge somewhere that the chicken has got a hard crust. Very odd. The sort of cooking that makes you gag. Just chucked the rest in the bin. The sort of cooking that you think about when you get in to bed at night and wonder what you’ve eaten. Won’t order from there again. Would love a refund but honestly after the hours spent trying to get our money back for missing items last time I just can’t be bothered. Gross! Still thinking about it now!

The place has a lovely ambience, whatever the occasion. We had a lovely afternoon brunch, hosted by Yadav and his team. I do recommend fully. True Nepalese style, which I learned about from asking the waiter.

It’s been 20 years I am going to Everest inn and did had a fantastic experience in all those years. They had very amazing cocktails and always appreciated their hospitality their attention to details. Highly recommended.

Just came back from eating here tonight. Staff are wonderful, the restaurant is very well appointed and looks amazing dressed for Christmas outside too. Food was perfect. Best Indian / Nepalese I’ve ever had. Blackheath is spoiled for choice when it comes to curry but this is head and shoulders above the rest. An average restaurant can be carried by excellent service but here the food is perfect, the service is perfect and it really stands out.

This is without doubt the best bottomless brunch I’ve had ! The food was amazing and plentiful, every item in the tapas was delicious with many inventive dishes . The main dishes were tasty and the dessert platter was just yummy! Have already booked again for January ! Also the staff were lovely ! Thoroughly recommend 👍🏻

I wasn’t our first time at the Everest Inn . In the past it’s always been ok. It is a bit overpriced , I have ordered chicken dansak and my chicken was hard and the all thing was a bit dry . My husband and my daughter food was nice, apart from the black lentils and potatoes with spinach that they were average. The dinner wasn’t certainly worth £109 . Also we sat down and there were no napkins or cutlery at our table . They put cutlery after the popadum basket but still no napkins which I had to ask for. The wait for the main dishes also long , about 25mins We won’t be going again .

Just had the BEST meal here. Came for the bottomless brunch. I am vegan so they made several vegan off menu specials for me. It was supposed to be 90 minutes but we sat and chatted for 3 hours. Service was the best ever. Food was incredible and all very reasonably priced. I live locally and it was my first time eating in here. I feel like such a fool that I haven't eaten here before! I have been to a few other Nepalese restaurants locally but this is the best. I will definitely be back and telling my friends about this place. My photos are bad as I had to eat the food before remembering to take the photos! THANK YOU

We had a fantastic evening dinner with our parents here. All courses were cooked fresh and tasted great. The service was exceptional attentive without imposing, all the staff were polite and smiley and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended .

We have walked past Everest Inn on more occasions that I like to remember but we final decided to dine here at the weekend. We were not disappointed and highly recommend this establishment. The food was authentic, tasty with just the right about of heat for us. We started with some of their signature cocktails , which we highly recommend. We had the, Jiri - Timur Gin, Mint, Lychee, Line & Tonic and Annapurna - Absolute Vodka, Galliano, Apple, Lemon & Cinnamon. Both our starters and mains were good and delivered of spice and heat. The only negative was the heat ( temp) of the food. Some of the dishes were luke warm, which was a real shame. We did bring this to the attention of the front of house manager, who replaced the dish. I would say, the time from the dishes been plated and serviced needs to improve. As for the service, some improvement is needed. We waited too long for our wine, staff appears rushed off their feet, hence difficult to get their attention at time. It’s for the serving of luke warm dishes, we have only given it 4/5

My first time coming here, my colleagues wanted to treat me to a birthday dinner, and I have to say I was very impressed! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was absolutely delicious, I don’t drink alcohol but they had non alcoholic drinks.. Mustang was my favourite! I had prawn puri, lollipop chicken, peshwari naan and lamb bhuna, portions were great and flavours were also great! Definitely recommend and will be back for more!

I had the Bottomless Brunch last Saturday with my family and it was a wonderful experience with first class service and fantastic food. The variety and flavour is excellent and I will be heading there again next time we visit our son in Blackheath. If you are hungry this is a great deal.

Momo’s are super delicious and tasty. I always liked my momos fried but this time the steamed momos with the chili sauce was exceptional. The chicken lollies was succulent, felt good eating after a while. It’s quite a nice vibe when I was having lunch at Everest Inn with my family. The owner - Mr Yadav was very kind, warm and welcoming. Very nice person to meet. We later found out notable Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Yash Raj Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif dined here back in 2012 for a Bollywood movie filming schedule. It was wonderful to see that, I will definitely bring my friends here for a visit. Also if you have a car, perfect spot for parking!

We were excited in trying the new bottomless brunch offer on a Saturday. The starters were filling and varied. I was offered a special addition for my dietary req. Recommend that you make sure you have enough starter as once main is offered, you can’t go back. Although they kindly offered as it’s a new offer. Can’t wait to come back and try again!

Been here a few times ahead loved it. Sadly tonight was ruined by the table beside us. One individual talked for 3 hours incredibly loudly about how wealthy he was. Sadly because he spent £2,500 on pink champagne (he mentioned this several times) when he was here before none of the staff dared tell him other people at the restaurant might enjoy hearing conversations at their own tables. We had to move inside to stop hearing him talking about how extremely wealthy he was but could still here him. Would have been nice if the staff told him he didn't need to shout to people on his own table no matter how wealthy he is.

I had a prawn madras curry wirh pilau rice. The curry was tasty and flavoursome with large succulent prawns.

So where do I start. The restaurant itself looks pretty but the food is basically an absolute rip off it’s almost laughable. The portion sizes are basically a joke. Why anyone would go here is beyond me. I had a Nepalese friend with me and she laughed at the food said it was one of the worst food she ever tasted. We both ordered a main and the rice that comes with it must be about five table spoons of rice and they are charging over £20!!!! This restaurant has to move on with the times this is definitely not fine dining which they are trying to be and £20 for 5 table spoons of rice is daylight robbery. Avoid avoid avoid. I would recommend Indian essence in Petts wood for great food and it’s also Michelin star. Just compare them both and you will know what I mean.

Everest Inn in Blackheath Village is the best restaurant in Southeast London. The authentic taste and refreshing cocktails were fantastic. We visited from India for a family reunion and were served by the lovely Sandhya and the entire team. It's impressive that they have catered for No. 10 Downing Street. We'll definitely be back!

It’s a bit difficult to find a parking near the restaurant but once you pass that step, the food is really great. Price is also good and portion size and presentation is also very nice. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some authentic taste

Visited this place several times with friends. Beautiful restaurant with a family ambience & only short walk from Blackheath Station. The food was delicious, we had Chicken Lollies, Lime Poleko Prawns 🍤, Papadum, Panipuri, Jhilka Chicken, Aubergine & Garlic Nann, and finished with Heavenly Honeycomb. Everything we ordered were flavorful, with amazing service by Subin. Would definitely come back!

Have been here a few times. We are always sat down straight away & food arrives very quickly, today served by Rajan. All their staff are sweet and patient as always an overall very pleasant experience. It’s a very calming nice environment to be in.

Absolutely amazing. The Lake Fish special is something you almost never see on a Nepalese or Indian menu. Imagine the best battered fish you've ever had, with flaky, perfectly cooked white fish. Perfectly, delicately spiced and accompanied with a light cloud of egg fried rice. No oil or grease in sight. Just flavors of the Himalaya. And the carrot pappadom chutney with mustard is like a small hit of horseradish and carrot crunch. Wonderful house white wine Boules was a perfect match. It's a 6 out of 5.

Warm atmosphere friendly staff. Good vegan options and clear menu regarding allergens which was helpful. All the food was very tasty, including the vg moma. Served by Rajan who was very attentive. Will visit again, would recommend.

Last visit was at Christmas (excellent). Came on a Friday evening, and it was a full house (great to see). Prawns, mixed grill and chicken dishes were all superb as usual. Service was also very good despite the busy environment; our waiter (Rajan) did his best to look after us, and did a very fine job (well done). Best Nepalese restaurant in the area, which is reflected by the fact the place was full. Will come again, of course.

This actually is a very good place to spend time. We had our wedding reception from Everest inn. Every staffs were so friendly and made us and our guests comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was superb. The hospitality we got from every staffs was on another level. Highly recommend to visit this place.

Me and husband came here for a Friday night date and it was absolutely lovely! The food was delicious and perfect portion sizes as well. Would recommend if you want to go somewhere cosy and intimate for a lovely evening meal. We had Rajan as our waiter and he was great! Very polite and attentive to our needs throughout our meal! :)

I visited this restaurant on the 14th of February for Valentine's Day. The service was not great. We were not asked if we wanted any more drinks after being served the first drink we waited a very long time for a meal. There was a set special Valentines menu which we didn't get given and I would've preferred, but I did not realise this until after we had ordered seeing a poster on the back of the toilet door, my main course was paneer it was very dry we also got a Sagoo which was not enjoyable. It tasted better and the potatoes were greasy on the whole. It was a disappointing experience and as it cost us over £100 we did not get value for money. When we asked for a bill at the end of the evening, it was clear that this was forgotten about as the staff busied themselves with other tasks, we had to wait again for a long time, and then remind the waiting staff that we wished to pay and leave

My third visit to this lovely restaurant. Each time the food has been beautifully cooked with wonderful spices and sauces. The momo were excellent little bundles of tasty joy. The lake fish and Nepalese chicken devine. Our wonderful waiter Rajan was charming too- all in all a great evening.

This is our 2nd time we have visited this dream restaurant, me and wife are celebrating our 2yr anniversary and after we had finished eating they presented us with a plate and on there was chocolate sauce spelling out happy anniversary and the best vanilla ice cream I’ve tasted as our cake with a candle in the middle, such a lovely gesture the staff here really go above and beyond for there customers and once again the food was impeccable and the service was outstanding particularly by Rajan who was our waiter for the evening, he was very attentive and very kind, ensuring we had everything we needed and he’s customer service skills were second to none. Honestly could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Good food. Meat/chicken are halal based on info by the staff. Had mixed non-veg starters, chili lime prawns were excellent. Had salmon for the main course - could've been seasoned better. Service is slow and that may be because all dishes are made fresh to order? All in all a good dine-out place. Tip- go after 7 pm to find plenty of parking nearby..went on weekdays
