Great pub. Was welcomed by a barman with dark hair and thick accent (Welsh?) and was treated to a great evening in what is a very traditional pub. Very mixed crowd. Lots of families, couples and mates out for a drink which shows the broad appeal.

What a wonderful lunch we had at Clarendon's Hotel Meridien Restaurant. The Hotel is led by legendary Ken Milton who has been there for more than 30 years welcoming guests and tailoring his approach whenever needed. We enjoyed a tasty Chicken and Apricot Terrine followed by a delicious Lamb Shoulder Pie which was the star of the meal as you could really taste the quality of the lamb meat. It was all accompained with a refreshing glass of Passerina white wine and Isabelle looked after our table with impeccable service.

Buena pizza, personal encantador, lugar terrible. Tan ruidoso (siempre lo ha sido) , lo que lo ha matado como restaurante son los repartidores de casco oscuro enmascarados que constantemente entran y salen a la deriva y se quedan junto a la puerta. Eso lo hace estresante para todos. (Lo siento por estos chicos, quería sentarlos, se quita los cascos y ofrecerles bebida, pizza, contacto humano y conversación). No comas aquí... . no es un restaurante... . ¡recibe una entrega a domicilio!

I think it’s the best coffee shop in blackheath. 🫶🏽 The flowers on each table are lovely, with bright colors and a sweet scent that make the place feel warm and cozy. One small suggestion the iron chairs by the window are cold—adding cushions would make them comfier. Still, this is my favorite piece 🥰

This restaurant is very quiet and clean. The waiter is very friendly. I like tuna the most. You can sit and eat it. The window is very clean, which will make you feel good.

We visited this pub as a part of our initial exploration of the area surrounding our hotel. Lovely interior and ambiance, very friendly (though somewhat young and with a lack of an experienced managers supervision) waitstaff and delicious food with a wide variety of both meaty and vegan options. A wide range of beers/lagers on tap, wide variety of spirits and delicious sodas. The interior is beautiful and all in all it has a welcoming vibe, even for a foreigner. The pub comes with a beautiful garden with little booths for four, all with heaters that you as the customer can turn on or off as you wish. Positivity aside, it was quite pricey and only about half of the drinks menu displayed prices. The price of a coffee? If you have to ask, you can't afford it. No raised eyebrows or weird stares either, which as a gay couple we can always appreciate. All in all, good experience, we'd visit again.

Almorcé con un amigo en esta sucursal. La comida estaba bien, menos la hormiga en la mesa, pero era solo una para poder perdonarla. El camarero fue muy amable, pero fue una especie de bofetada - tablero. Nos señaló la mesa, en lugar de llevarnos a ella. . . . Interesante. . . El piso tampoco era el más limpio. Una vez que llegó la comida, el camarero pensó que era una buena idea colocar el recipiente para los condimentos, con las salsas, sal y pimienta, etc. en el piso, ya que no podía molestarse en encontrar un lugar en la mesa. ¡Eso fue lo primero para mí! ! La jirafa normalmente es un buen lugar para comer, pero no volveré corriendo a esta sucursal en Blackheath.

Vengo cada pocas semanas cuando veo mis leyes y siempre es el primer lugar donde quiero tener una sentada y una buena charla, tiene un entorno increíble, es pintoresco y tiene un ambiente acogedor y todo el personal es siempre tan amable y paciente

I believe the place is called Madeleine`s (they gave me a card with this name). I had a brioche and a coffee; they were both below average. You would aspect from those interdependent shops to have higher quality of food but unfortunately not. The food and beverages are better in chains like Pret-a-Manger or Starbucks

Tuve mis reservas cuando mis amigos dijeron que deberíamos ir a un restaurante naija cz que conocía de experiencias anteriores, la mayoría no tienen excelente servicio al cliente!. Llegamos allí alrededor de las 10 y estábamos presionando para que un personal tomara nuestros pedidos! Eventualmente, un buen personal que pensé que nos serviría solo para que ella fuera por un tiempo y cuando regresó, pidió nuestras órdenes que mi amigo con gusto dio solo para ser dirigido a otro personal! Salí alrededor de la 1 am sin bebidas ni comida y para ser honesto me hizo parecer como si estuviera esperando a un hombre para recogerme! Mi 1 tiempo en la calle en este salón y tan decepcionado y humeante! Mis amigos trataron de cubrir su decepción bailando, ¡pero me fui! La multitud era mucha y tal vez los fines de semana, debería haber más personal para ayudar! Si la presión es tanta para el personal, no deberían agregarle groserías. Debe completarse la capacitación sobre cómo manejar el estrés y el ambiente ocupado ¡Podría seguir y seguir pero lo dejaré aquí!

We ordered food and drinks for family lunch. We had a great experience with this visit. Food was delicious .friendly staff . Good service. Happy to visit again.

Food is always cooked to perfection. Nice and hot when delivered, and quick also.
