Curry was so watery, and again things missing from my order.

The chicken dish was very salty. The vegetable curry was very oily and the garlic naan wasn't a garlic naan!! Very disappointed with the food

The food was absolutely spectacular. I can’t wait to try other dishes from this place. I’m very particular about Indian cuisine as I’m Indian but this place truly reminded me of authentic home cooked meal

Hot. Quick. in terms of the actual food, not bad quality but taste was lacking a little with the Tikka Masala. Not enough flavour. But wasn't too bad.

UPDATE: Have been ordering from here for over a year! DELIVERY IS ALWAYS LATE BY AT LEAST 45 MINUTES! ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! GET A GRIP! ITS PURE P*SS TAKE! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH AND HAVE SWITCHED OUR TAKEAWAY AFTER YET ANOTHER CHASING UP OUR FOOD, ONLY TO BE TOLD A WHOLE LOAD OF NONSENSE EXCUSES! WHAT AN APALING DELIVERY SERVICE! OWNER NEEDS TO SPEND AN EXTRA PENNY ON DELIVERY DRIVERS! WHATS WORSE, FOOD ARRIVED COLD AND UNDERCOOKED! Order food the evening before, and hopefully you'll get it on time! For God's sake! In 2024 with a stone age delivery service! In fact, the worst I've ever experienced! Wings and chicken burgers are yummy. Curries are really not great at all. Beef burgers used to be gourmet, but they've now switched to incredibly cheap meat - we had to throw out our last order. And they couldn't slice the chicken in the chicken burger, any thinner if they tried!

Another great curry evening , we have never had a bad meal from red Chilli ,ever, always fresh, hot, delicious food with great portion sizes. Thoroughly recommended by all in our household!

Ordered dinner for New Year’s Eve. When it came food was horrible the popadoms were stale and curries tasted like a salt pot with thick oil floating on top. Tried to call the restaurant to resolve it but they ignored our calls and still couldn’t get hold of them the next day. Had to bin all the food will never order from here again.

Didn’t receive mango chutney, onion bhaji very oily but also very dry.

It’s was cold watery chicken was undercooked pots was cold very oliey I definitely won’t be ordering again from you very disappointed! And this was my 1st time ordering

Waited over two hours only to be delivered a curry with no rice! Super disappointing. Such an big part of the meal, like a burger coming with no bun. Didn’t have any rice to cook so just ate the sauce with popadoms which was lame as. Shame as the sauce was actually nice.

Food took almost 2 hours to come and then part of our order was missed. Food was cold and pretty average.

We love the food from Red Chillies it is always well spiced, good portions, and always delivered hot we always say we should try different dishes on the menu but we always order the same and it never disappoints. EXCELLENT TAKEAWAY !

Not used for a long time but delighted food was as good as I remembered…I eat Korma and Red Chilli’s is delish. As with all takeaway..would welcome being a bit hotter on arrival, especially as in plastic dishes and I don’t have a microwave. Starters have shrunk sizeover the years..but to be honest the price point is great value for money. Takeaway is a considered spend these days…and when you compare to some rubbish fast food…a Red Chilli take out is really great value for money. Give it a go.

First time ordering, food is nice however I am missing some food

Cannot praise them enough we have never had a bad meal from them! always hot and delicious food. We have tried curries from other places and always come back to Red Chillies.Also love the stamp recieved with every order that lead to an impressive discount!!!

Always consistently hot, well portioned delicious food, one little gripe we normally get two poppadoms with a set meal my daughter orders we got one last night 😔 Cutbacks everywhere !

Never had a bad dish from Red Chillies always hot, perfectly seasoned,you can even tell when different chefs are cooking as the seasoning varies slightly but still so good. My favourite curry house .l have tried others but their chicken sag with mushrooms rice is unbeatable!!

Food was on time but they did say an hour which is at least 20 mins more than others. So the potatoes tasted old, the madras was overflowing with ghee and the nam breads were substandard (heavy and fatty). Dont order from here again.

Fantastic as always. Everything is always so tasty from Red Chilli. Had an issue with our delivery so had to call for the first time ever in all our years ordering, customer service was extremely friendly and everything was sorted out very quickly, absolutely not a problem. Always recommended by us. Thank you!

This restaurant has always been a favourite of mine, witith naga chilli biryani being a great dish. Yet all other dishes are great tasting and good value for money under the rising cost of living.

Really disappointed with the food. Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Ordered reshmi burger and roll had mold on both sides. I mean u guys dont even check while serving. Wouldnt recommend to anyone 👎👎👎

I wouldn't even give them one star. Made an online order for a burger and masala chips and burger was molded. That shows how much they care about food. Never ordering from here again.

Very tasty and the right amount of spices for the dish I ordered. Also the best garlic naan I've tasted, plenty of garlic just how I like it.

Food was awful;curry was swimming in an inch of oil. Nan breads were dried out and reheated. Rice was clearly leftovers reheated from last night. Rang restaurant to complain and was extremely disappointed with the attitude of the person I spoke to. Will not be using them again.

Average, food was swimming in ghee, breads not cooked in the middle and dal like water. Average food for the money

Average take away at best, food was swimming in ghee so much so spooned half a cup out of the chicken dish. Two of the breads weren’t cooked in the middle and the dal side was so watery and tasteless . Unfortunately hasn’t improved over the years and better takeaways in the neighbourhood.

The lamb dish was hard and f did not taste nice.

The food arrived early which was great. Unfortunately I don't recommend this restaurant for vegetarians. I ordered a vegetable curry but it was more like soup - I expected chunky vegetables like cauliflower, carrots and full green beans. Instead it was a lot of watery sauce with fingernail sized pieces of vegetables which I didn't enjoy.

The lamb was not cooked properly. Very tough. And the menue is not clear when you select what you want as it does not give you an option to have rice. You have to go a select a different category to get rice which is very long. We had to cook rice as we only got the stew.

The worst Prawn curry that I have eaten. Very salty which is unusual and more curry liquid than usual. Terrible.

One of my favourite Indian takeaways in South East London. Food is always done to high standards. They take notice of my notes and do the curries how I like it. Have recommended to my friends and they were also happy with food

This is tasty and very good value food. I've had dozens of dishes on the menu and they do not disappoint. Delivery is always prompt. There is no reason to order Indian food from anywhere else in the Greenwich/Lewisham area. They look after you at Red Chilli's.

I have order from this restaurant on numerous occasions NEVER had an any issues.

Ordered a set meal which was really good value for money. Some dishes were a little saltier than I would usually like but overall I enjoyed and would order again!

Food was alright but I definitely had better Indian many times. Chicken was quite dry, if I had to eat it without sauce it would be a disaster. Portion size of rice was just tiny. The food was on time but it took over an hour to get to me and I am really not that far from the restaurant at all. I didn’t speak to restaurant at all but when the driver arrived he wasn’t even wearing face mask and for some reason he wouldn’t let me keep my receipt, which I found bizarre. Don’t think will be ordering again.

I normally love this food. Always order from here and will try again soon still as I am loyal, but today the madras was inedible. Just tasted of pure salt and no flavour. As were the Bombay potatoes. Real shame! Everything else was great and everything was piping hot!

The food was unbelievably salty! I think a lot of salt fell in the pot / pan NEVER have I tasted anything so salty in my 50 odd years. I like salty but the chicken biryani was 100% over salted. I think the chef should have disposed of this when he dropped the tub of salt into it. I was hungry and looking forward to this but i ate three folk fulls and got my wife to try and WOW inedible. So disappointed waste of £12.50.

Great food, recommend the grilled sheikh kebabs with rice & curry sauce. Yum. Delivered within 30 mins. Only hiccup, delivery driver had his mask dangling on his ear....not impressed. I wore my mask to answer the door. Got RCL on my fast dial for the future.

Food very oily. Not much actual lamb in the lamb dish we ordered. Delivery slow.

Food was ok although a bit salty

Thought I'd give them a chance as a break from my regular place - but wasn't good. As per the previous reviews, oily, watery and salty. A couple of items were passable. Others went in the bin.

Before I placed an order delivery time stated to be 25-40 mins, once I've placed my order at 5pm the delivery was given 1hr 40 mins, then it arrived closer to 7 pm. Totally unacceptable!!! I Will never order from them again, the food also arrived cold!!!

Worst Chicken Tikka Vindaloo i have ever tasted. I know my food. Watery sauce, salty. If it was Chicken Tikka vindaloo then it was in the tandoor when tandoors were invented.The accompaniment mixed grill just didn't taste right. I know times are tough, but considering what's on offer in my post code, i will never use this excuse for a take out again.Ever

There was too much oil floating on the top of the Curry but the food was fresh and taste was okay. Delivery was on time. Overall it wasn’t bad

A 5min drive took them 15min to arrive, with no traffic! Good arrived barely lukewarm and needed heating. Food was bland and quite watery. Good customer service when I phoned to complain, but doesn't make up for the disappointment, especially when you're beyond hungry

Great food as always but the curry was extremely and overly oily and everything was almost stone cold which was a shame seeing as we don’t live very far.

Over two hours late, restaurant blamed it on being busy, rain and road closures. The restaurant is less than a 5 minute drive from my house so not really valid excuses. Food was acceptable, might have considered ordering again if it wasn't for the massive delay.

The food arrive 30 minutes late & every time I tried to call to find out where my order was it just went to answerphone. Will not be using them again.

Food was of poor quality, all very oily and very salty so much do it was not edible, The restaurant responded and sent a new order out, but unfortunately the food had not improved. Unfortunately no one could answer our query to rectify this issue until near closing! A shame as previous orders have been very enjoyable. This was not expected and extremely disappointing.

Food inedible, driver rude no apology for lateness. Food not kept warm. The food lacked flavour. The chickpea curry was dry with no taste and smelt off, all went in bin, mutter paneer far too sweet should have been a dessert. Mushroom curry tasted gritty and again no taste at all just fried mushrooms. Tbh all went in bin as completely tasteless and smelt strange like it had been cooked a while ago so really don’t understand why it was late. If you want good tasting food don’t order here. We won’t be. Absolutely disgusting food.

Sent burnt naans, i called and complained which he said he was gonna check his CCTV, come back 2 seconds later and he said they where not burned. Called me a liar, didn't deal with the problem and hanged up. Absolutely disgusting costumer service. And the food is extremely bland and SALTY.

Really not value for money, average food and staff really don’t care about what issues there are. Ordered king prawn tikka at the princely price of £12.99 . I thought they got it wrong as the prawns were not quite king but more pauper , not only that but they cut them in half so yes , 8 bits but only 4 prawns and tiny ones at that. I called the restaurant as I thought they got it wrong and just sent a starter but they just weren’t interested .The other thing I usually love is Tarka Dall, it was more a soup with a few lentils and tons of garlic, very very watery . Don’t be fooled by any discounts, really not worth it.

Asombroso . . . . He vivido en esta carretera durante casi 12 años y nunca ordené desde aquí. Ahora encerrado (covid - 19) pensé en pedir comida para llevar. Pedí una oferta de comida para 1 más una selección de entrante. El pollo bhuna estaba picante (como me gusta mi curry) y lleno de sabor. La oferta de comida incluía arroz y una bebida. De hecho, lo compartí con mis hijos, ya que había mucho para todos. Definitivamente volveré a pedirles. Bien hecho muchachos ?? (pulgares arriba de mi parte)

I ordered a prawn curry. Very reasonable at £4.20 but when delivered it was very tasty except that the prawns had not been de veined. So the prawn poo was still on the back of the prawns! Memo to staff Please clean/remove the black line on the prawns!!
