Never delivered, waiting for refund

Just forget about my chips but re ordered them.

Courier was polite, and smiley considering todays climate she was a breath of fresh air bringing my food. Keep it up and stay safe.

Placed a order said will arrive by 710 said it was on it way taking ages contacted the restaurant to be told that my food hasn’t even been made yet and in fact wasn’t on route for delivery so had to wait an extra 30-45 mins for it to arrive

2 hours later still not arrived phoned 3 times. First time it was on its way. 2nd time they was just cooking it. 3rd time they was just leaving. Not acceptable at all

Where is my food?! I've been waiting at least 10 minutes and haven't received an update

The lamb kofte kebab are very dry not fresh at all has a off putting smell. The rest of the food was a ok! I want my money back on the lamb kofta kebab they can come and take the lamb kofta kebab back.

The food was late, it was cold, not even a bit warm, and the portions were tiny. Not happy.

Really disappointed with my order, ordered two chicken burger meals the chip Portion sizes were different one with a good portion and the other with a small handful the chips were also cold. Then both the chicken burgers came dry with no salad or mayonnaise, but the chicken burger I ordered by it self came with mayo and salad. Will not be ordering again from here

A 2 hour wait for a kebab on a Tuesday is not good enough. No apology or reason was given when called either. The kebab itself was nice enough (if a little small for a "large") but not worth the wait.

we have been ordering from South Kebab for a long time now. I ordered a cold mezza which was served NO SALAD 🥗 my daughter called the restaurant the man who answered the phone has NO customer service., that hows it’s served he said, I had this same meal a week ago and had SALAD without having to ask. So South Kebabs has lost OUR custom. ❎❎❎

Kebab was smaller than the large ordered and cold... Used to be a brilliant takeaway but not so much nowdays

I've eaten here before and been really impressed, which is why I was so disappointed yesterday that my food arrived 40 minutes late, after the restaurant had already added 25 mins onto the order. The pizza arrived almost cold, and while it was very nice, it would have been nicer if it hadn't had to be microwaved. The mixed wrap again was very nice, and the chicken meat and chips are always good, though last night were a bit cold. Will order again, but maybe on a quieter day of the week

Terrible restaurant, rude staff, outright lied to me twice when I called to check on my order, food never arrived after over 2h wait! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE - WORST EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE EVER!!!!

Food was horrible worst kebab I've ever tasted! It was 2 hours late chips was cold chilli sauce was stuck together the whole thing was bad . Would never order here again!

Food arrived 2 hours after I order and the restaurant is just 2 miles away. I called the restaurant twice the first time they've told me that order will leave in 10 minutes and the. second time 23:20 two hours exactly after I placed the order the delivery guy was on his way. The restaurant never informed me that the food is on its way or will be late.Otherwise I wouldn't like to receive the order..

Gone downhill. Used to be excellent. Hot Saucy not on the menu anymore and charging for delivery.

Good portions and good quality but the sauce was missing, something that has already happened in the past, chillies missing from salad and our dietary request was ignored (we just can't eat cucumber) and it took over one hour to be delivered.

Yo loads of stuff missing, my chicken dippers not in the bag, and the mixed grill are missing few pieces of meat g.. I like to order from this restaurant but seriously you lot need to fix that memory loss

Arrived before set time and was really yummy.

I have had kebab from a few places in the area but I have to say this is by far the best. The meat was really nice and the chips were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were reasonable, delivery time was spot on and food was still hot. Would definitely order again.

Really nice food and delivered really quickly. The only bad thing I would say is that you don't get enough meat in the children's meat and chips but the meat u do get is really nice.

I was disappointed that the chicken burger was not a chicken fillet instead a processed cheap chicken burger you can get the chicken fillet meal for 2.99 from many places, the kebab was ok but when held up loads of fat dripped out more then id normally expect

Been ordering from them regularly although the last two times the food took over an hour to be delivered. Food quality is not too bad but the extended delivery times will make me think twice about ordering from them again.

Food came a bit earlier than expected but it was fine, I didn't realise my drinks that I ordered didn't come however without me even calling within 20 mins the delivery driver knocked on my door and actually delivered my drinks. Very honest would order from there agin. :)

We orders food at about 12 we were told we wouid have it by 12:50 12:55 I rang the restaurant and was told delivery does not start till one my and my other half love the food but this is not good customer service at art it's now 1:36pm still no food

Although the restaurant added 10 minutes to the delivery time (up to 21:00) they delivered the food with 40 minutes delay (21:40). At around 21:20 (20 mins delay) I called the restaurant to ask for the status of the order and if everything was ok. The girl who replied was very rude and told me that it would have taken at least 15/20 more minutes. I asked for an explanation and she just told me in an unpolite way that they were busy, without apologising and as if it was normal. I asked to have at least a refund for the bad service and she told me that she would have stopped the driver if I wasn't intentioned to pay. I agreed to pay and the conversation ended with the girl hanging up the phone at me. Eventually I paid the whole bill without complaining further, but I still believe I didn't receive a good service (or a service at all) . I can understand the food may take longer to be delivered, but not to be treated the way that girl has treated me. In any circumstance, respect is fundamental. For sure, southkebab tonight has lost a client.

Hummous is nice, smooth and creamy. Nice pitta too. Chips not great and halloumi a bit undercooked. Chicken shish was nice.

Food was gone off and very smelly you wouldn't serve this food to a dog. i do not know how they think its acceptable to sell food like this. When i called the restaurant to enquire about the quality of the food, they were and aggressive and rude. Very, very disappointed with the incredibly poor service

Dry and cold "warm pitta" Opened my grilled halloumi and flooded my table. Why filled with so much water?? It was soaking. Chicken shish and hummus wrap was about 70% onion Added 30 mins to the order time increasing to 1 hour for 2 things.

One pizza and kebab took an hour to arrive. When it got here it was freezing cold and the portion of kebab was tiny. Was offered a refund after talking to them for over 10 mins only to be told they couldn't get to me for another hour with the money, which was too late for me.

Food took 90 mins to arrive. Pizza was partially burnt around the edges and cold. Chicken was also cold. Very disappointing.

I called before placing an order at 12:30 when I was told that deliveries were delayed and wouldn't start until 1:30. Despite agreeing to wait the first hour for food at 14:30 it still hadn't arrived. I called twice to chase the food and was told the food was on its way. 9 months pregnant and with my daughter off school with me, I was reluctant to cancel the order and start the process again. Besides I had already placed this order online via just-eat and had the money debited from my account. So dissapointed, the driver muttered sorry and the chips arrived cold. Not even a extra can of drink or a bottle of water on the house as a gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience caused. Very dissapointed.

Halloumi wrap was cold and halloumi not cooked. for £6, that is not acceptable.

Rude indifferent staff. More interested in the "just eat" orders that roll in. Staff, a chef sitting out the front on the tables smoking, which is not uncommon but looked pretty bad. Burger was poor quality and the kabab was tasteless, there are better further up the road. We will not be back.

They offer in the menu grilled chicken but they sent me fried chicken ... if I would know that I wouldn't order

South Kebab is my local takeaway and have always enjoyed their food and the staff and delivery drivers are always friendly.

Ordered 2 x Apple Pie, double. Recieved only 1. Mayonnaise purchased wasn't delivered. Chicken donner ersp was cold. X-large donner kebab came with 3 pitted not the 4 it says, they also didn't include the chilli and garlic says they say come with it. The large donner kebab was very sticky ad you pulled the meat apart you could see sticky strands. The salad came in seperate burger boxes but was so wet everything was covered in the juices.

I'm very please with my food tonight.

Usually always been excellent but today the mixed doner was terrible. Put a stingy amount of sauce and salad in separate containers and the meat itself was oily, unseasoned and bland. Won't be ordering again.
