Costa Coffee in Lewisham

missing food on 2 separate orders

Both snack wafers were stale there was a small hole in the packets and it’s ruined the whole pack. Also the drinks were not full on delivery

when I first made the order it said delivery between 9.35am and 8.55am it arrived at around 9.20am. luckily I had arrived home in time to receive it.

I ordered 2 chocolate fudge brownie coffee frappe in the bottles you gave one fudge brownie one caramel swirl. Please can you also put serviettes in the bag for next time. Thank you

To the staff member who objected to me calling him buddy; taking manufactured offence to what is such a minor oversight is never the best move when it comes to getting repeat business. I've been using this store for around 1-2 times per week for around one year, and I've now stopped due to this incident. I have no issue with anyone telling me how they wish to be addressed, although I do have issues when a staff members hypersensitivities are vented in front of other staff and customers. Although this seems an overreaction on my part, I refuse to fund a business where staff make it 'all about them'. All of the other staff I've encountered have been great, with great interpersonal skills and a personalised service knowing what I want as soon as I arrive. Sorry it came to this, but 'you go woke you go broke' as they say.

Got 5 coffee and 3 of them was wrong ones and stuff was rude not even friendly didn’t even say sorry or thank you can’t blame the lady as she’s think she was new she was on till she was okay nice and the guys who came checked the what’s the coffees was rude and he done the coffee and was all wrong paid £20 wasn’t worth it, never ever will go to this costa

The coffee is very very average in terms of the taste in comparison to competitors, this being said - the Blackheath branch is filled with the most amazing staff ever! Always smiling, always happy to see you, super welcoming, super friendly and treat you with utmost care, respect and positivity.

Well arranged place and nice coffee

No toasted bean and cheese sandwich put in the bag also no cookies and cream put in the bag but they decided to put mini chocolate muffins instead. Should have called to ask what the customer wants. Terrible service from Blackheath. If you don’t like your job then it’s time to change your job! Very disappointing!

I have visited this Costa a few occasions and there are always a lot of tables that haven't been wiped down. Service is usually slow. The toilets also need more regular care and attention. Food and drink is pretty standard for Costa branches.

It's a nice place for a coffee on a Sunday morning. Service was a little slow, I think it was someone's first day :)

Always very friendly and welcoming, even to the regulars. I love this place. I go there almost every day and it's always just a great atmosphere to be in. The staff are always super friendly and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink. It's my favourite local coffee shop by far.

This is a great place to go with your family or friends. They have a lot of different kinds of coffees to choose from and they are very affordable prices. The staff is very nice and welcoming as well.

A nice cafe with lots of seatings and not so noisy either. We will be back to visit sometimes in the future. I have been coming here for a cup of tea the last few times. They never gave me the tea that I have ordered. The service is not great.

Love Costa and I am a regular customer. Had the worst experience with 'too good to go' today (11/11/22 - 1900) at this branch, went in to grab a bag asked if anything was veg in the bag but was told by the (female, Asian, 5'2) staff member that nothing was veg in the bag and they had nothing veg. I told her to keep the bag and I would just take the one croissant that was in the bag. Staff member suggested to take it and give it to someone as they have alot of wastage. Behind the counter they had a large pile of vegan and fish sandwiches, when asked about them she reluctantly changed some items and stated that 'if it was someone else they wouldn't do this'. Been here many times and have had the pleasure of nice staff members who were more than happy to swap items for dietary needs. This staff member just came across incompetent and lazy. Costa sort her out please!

This is the best costa coffee shop i have been in i always have the same in what ever costa i go to but this one is the only one where i get a hot coffee and the food is always hot. Their customer service is brilliant its always busy but they remain polite friendly and professional. Would always recommend blackheath village costa coffee

A much smaller Costa than some others, making it a little crowded when there is a queue of people, but it does have seating downstairs. 5 stars for the staff, though. Always pleasant and super efficient!

Coffee is standard costa - so ok. But the service is not great. The shop is always rammed with people, their click and collect rarely works and has double charged me twice now. And then they are rude about it like it’s your fault.

I'm a regular customer at Blackheath branch. Always order mango&passion fruit drink. Today went in with 14 months old baby and the shop was empty at first, Basically they have a big step at the front shop so pushchair can't get in there. I went in with my son he picked and dropped snacks pack at the counter and I put it back. Suddenly I was ordering to the nice lady and my son were picked the ”Plastic” bottle then another staff who came from downstairs sat next to my son and shot ”NO” 1. No mask 2. Violent voice to the 14 months old baby (I have never done this to him) Very disappointed and I will throw the member card also will never put my feet in any costa again.

Small. Only comfortable seating in a small but cosy area downstairs. Not suitable for families or groups of more than 4 people. Upstairs only space for sitting at a counter with bar stools. Cramped!

Excellent restaurant, lovely food with friendly service

Lovely little cafe with seating down stairs staff are lovely and friendly and actually explain what is in the drinks fully if your a novice and just call tea tea and coffee just coffee. Wouldn't recommend anyone with a buggy going here unless it can fold or it's small.

Great Costas in Blackheath, the two staff there coped really well with customers even help an elderly lady to her table downstairs with her tray.

I've been a regular for a long time. The staff are all very friendly, make a brilliant flat white! Pleasant homely environment downstairs. There is free WiFi as well as places to charge your devices. Has an outside bit at the back where you can smoke or just enjoy the sun.

It has a outside and downstairs sitting. The downstairs sitting is bit tricky if you have a pushchair as it does not have a lift.

Esta costa es muy estrecha. La planta principal solo cuenta con taburetes. Hay pasos bastante empinados hacia una pequeña área de asientos que no era muy cómoda y se veía muy en mal estado. El inodoro era terrible. La cerradura estaba permanentemente roja, lo que significaba que la gente hacía cola en las escaleras pensando que estaba ocupada. Una vez dentro, estaba sucio y la manija de la cisterna estaba suelta. Para ser justos con el personal, el servicio fue eficiente y el café era bueno. El té era muy normal.

This is my favourite coffee shop in the village. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is always a lot on offer. There is additional seating downstairs with a court yard garden.

El mayor problema es el espacio, incluso en la zona de estar de la planta baja se siente apretado. La comida y el café es como se espera de cualquier Costa. El personal es amable.

Typical Costa experience - no filter coffee or cold brew. Bathroom is cramped and very dirty and their delivery is left on the customer tables.

It was quite sunny, so ordered one of the new fruits smoothies. Was delicious, loved it. Customer service was also good.

Small order area but still like any Costa. Just wish they had a better layout for the order and cash machine. Being very close to the stairs people push you back into the stairs and I nearly fell.

I'm sorry if it's TMI but the toilets are absolutely revolting. I've visited twice in two months and on both occasions they haven't been cleaned properly and by the look of the grime build-up they are just not cleaned thoroughly. And most recently it was first thing on a Saturday morning so there was really no excuse. Add to that some loud, obnoxious punters (not Costa Coffee's fault, admittedly) and it's not a place I would recommend.

Cramped upstairs (there's just about enough room to accommodate the queue for the till) and a slightly less cramped seating area downstairs. I think I've been here three times in total .. with each occasion being a bit of a time wasting exercise before going to my daughter's school. Seems to be popular with yummy mummies but I can't see the appeal myself.

The usual formula and regime attended effectively by efficient staff in this small branch that's handicapped by space/movement constraints. A seemingly endless stream of cheerful punters; despite the tight squeeze and cheek by jowl environment.

When I want a good coffee with something small on the side I go to Costa. I love their coffee. The staff in Blackheath is super nice and quick!!

Not happy with the size of their Costa cups. I ordered a large coffee, paid £3.20 and got a small regular size. When querying this, they claimed that this is their large size. I don't appreciate being charged £3.20 for a regular sized coffee. No receipt given and staff not very pleasant.

A cosy place. Nice sitting area in a basement and has little garden on the back which is a great option in the summer time months. Pleasant staff.

A very small and inconvenient ground floor space does not offer comfort. There is a lower ground floor area that is slightly better, but beware: after heavy rain. this level can be flooded and inaccessible. Coffee is average. Food uninspiring. Service not welcoming. Not to be recommended.

I have been going here for over seven years, staff are friendly and helpful. Downstairs seating available, as well as a few stools upstairs. Out front seating and a small garden area. It does get busy, but the staff are good, so the only issue is finding a seat!

Good location and decent amount of seating for such a small place. Unfortunately there is always a queue when I visit. They could do with some more staff in order to provide a faster service.
