The best restaurants serving Default food in Ferndale Lambeth London

6 friends on our way to a gig at the O2 Academy, Brixton, got off the Tube at Stockwell to walk to Brixton, hoping to find somewhere to eat on the way. We stumbled upon Sintra, which looked interesting and were made welcome. The service was excellent, they made us feel very at home. The food was excellent, and different to usual offerings from steakhouses, ethnic and hipster restaurants. Portuguese, with plenty of fish, but also various meat and veggie stuff. We all loved it.

Went here for a pub quiz recently. The pub was freezing cold, everyone kept their coats on, and a very limited section of beers available (over two thirds of draughts were off). Plus no alcohol free, in dry Jan. Staff were very friendly however, and attentive with glass collection.

Great pub with friendly staff...except one. The fella with curly brown hair that rolls his eyes whenever anyone makes an order. Almost like he's surprised someone's asked him to pour a pint...cheer up fella! A smile once in a while won't hurt

Without expectation we found this pub very great, the pizza's thin, isn't my favourite, but thanks Maurizio (the head chef) for your suggestion: the gorgonzola, nuts and mushroom was 🤤 especially the second one😅 Good selection of beer and live music!!

I hosted my birthday at the Loughborough Junction venue for 40 guests. It was amazing! The space was fantastic and we had trays of tacos and incredible service at our private bar - lots of spicy passion fruit margaritas. My friend also DJ’d and got linked up to the main decs/speakers at venue. Wilson and his wife were extremely helpful and accommodating and it was the most brilliant night. Would defos recommend hosting an event here.

The worst bottomless brunch I’ve ever been too. Myself and friends had a booking at this restaurant for a bottomless brunch. I am a coeliac so I rang up in advance to see what my food options were, to be told there wasn’t any over the phone, to then they finally said they could to a toast option. Once we got to the restaurant we put in our food order within the first 10 mins of our reservation. We were told they had run out of most of the options on the menu, even though it was 5pm on a Saturday. An hour and a half into the reservation we still hadn’t received our food, we asked the waiter why it was taking so long and that we simply couldn’t drink anymore of the alcohol as we hadn’t eaten (we were also told the bottles we hadn’t finished would be taken away at 7). At 6:55, 5 minutes before the end of our reservation we were told they needed the table and we were to pay the bill including the food that we still had NOT received. After complaining about the wait we were given a not so generous 20 minutes to eat our food and leave. They did knock money off the bill, but to say we were disappointed was an understatement, and the food was awful. This is not suitable for people with allergens at all, in 2023 it’s shocking that the only option I was offered is toast. It is not good enough that a ‘restaurant’ cannot cater to food allergies. Do not recommend!

Llamado aquí para un desayuno muy tarde mientras visitaba a un amigo en Londres. El servicio fue excelente desde el momento en que entramos. Nos recibió muy rápidamente la camarera, con la sonrisa incluida, entregó los menús y ocupó nuestro asiento. El desayuno era muy bueno. Tuve un gran desayuno para 8. 95 que incluye 2 tocino, 2 salchichas, 2 papas fritas, 2 huevos, frijoles, champiñones y 2 rebanadas de pan tostado. Una taza de té para 1. 40. Mesas muy limpias, no tuvimos que esperar demasiado tiempo para nuestra comida tampoco. Excelente.

Incomprensiblemente s / hite. Imagínese esto: esperé 10 - 15 minutos en el bar para que me pidieran mi pedido, mientras que literalmente solo había 3 de nosotros en el bar en total. ¡Resultado! Finalmente me sirvieron y pedí un Negroni que está en la primera página del menú de cócteles. Más esperando. Resultó que a mitad de camino, haciendo que mi bebida les faltara un espíritu básico como Campari o algo así, tuve que cambiar mi orden. ¡No hay problema! Pedí un Old Fashioned. PAGO por el Old Fashioned y me dijeron que lo iban a llevar a mi mesa. Todo bien. Pasó el tiempo y me compraron una bebida. Admito que no pensé que pareciera un Old Fashioned estándar, pero no soy un experto en cócteles y este lugar parecía un poco extraño de todos modos, así que bebí un sorbo. No vale la pena quejarse y esperar otros 20 minutos intentando tomar una copa. El alcohol sigue siendo el alcohol ¿verdad? La gente comete errores. Es genial. No te preocupes por las cosas pequeñas. . . ! El tiempo pasa. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que el barman estuviera de pie gesticulando en la Margarita y me preguntó si había ordenado un Old Fashioned. "Bueno sí. . Ordené un anticuado ”dije. Entonces él, sin ningún sentimiento de vergüenza, dice que necesitaría pagar 8 adicionales. 50 para la Margarita también y me culpó por tomar un sorbo de ella. Como bien me dio un saque. Dijo que debería haber sabido que no era lo que pedí antes de tomar un sorbo. Literalmente dijo que estas cosas son caras y que a otro cliente ahora le falta su bebida. Lo siento WTF? ! ¿Estas loco? ! ¿Qué tipo de negocio es este? Estos chicos rellenaron mi pedido, me trajeron la bebida equivocada. . y luego, si eso no es lo suficientemente aficionado, dame el descaro absoluto a BLAME ME por tomar un sorbo de la bebida que me entregaron y me dijo que también le debía el costo de la Margarita. ! Este lugar está más allá de la comprensión.

I was trying to cancel my order on Uber eats. Female manager at the Clapham Branch was very unhelpful & rude over the phone. Hanging up before every request to cancel the order. Was saying that I had to cancel through the app, but the app said I needed to contact the branch directly. Rude manager, not worth ordering from.

Most terrible, most revolting food and served with most terrible most rubbish service, had to throw most of it away (except the cake). Waste of good money and feel sick for the little that was eaten. Never used to be that bad, what changed?
