An exceptional service by Ghada with a high standard welcome from the staff I presume led by her great team leader.
What ever you do,pass by relaxing or waiting for a friend
I do not recommend it at all. The taste is very bitter, and the quantity is also small. Other than that, its prices are very high. It is very expensive.
Incredibly disappointing - just truly awful. We visited using a Virgin Experience Days voucher for Sunday roast with bottomless red wine which cost £90. We were sat at a table for nearly 20 minutes with no drink so asked for one. After ordering the lunch we were given two side plates and a small sharer board of beef, vegetables and two Yorkshire puddings. The portions were small and you were not offered anymore. Not that we would have accepted it because the food was not great and was lukewarm. After our first drink we had to ask for refills as no one was remotely interested in serving us. We grabbed any waiter we could but eventually gave up and left early. Special shout out goes to the waitress with the blonde ponytail who was incredibly rude - even rolling her eyes when she was directed to our table to serve us. We complained at the end, had the service charge removed and refused their offer of a complimentary drink. Life is too short and I wouldn’t want to spend another moment of my life in this place.
Visited Lite Bite Cafe Bar a few times during my holiday in London—both during busy hours and quieter moments—and each time was a fantastic experience. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal—flavourful, fresh, and clearly made with care. What really stood out was the exceptional service: the team went above and beyond, regularly checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. A true gem of a cafe that I’d return to in a heartbeat!
12 Paddington Station, London, W2 1DA, United Kingdom, England
Very convenient when you are passing through and need a little something. Their hot options and pastries were much better than anticipated. The servers are very patient with non-locals and are quick to help with suggestions! We will definitely be back.
During my trip to attend a symposium in town, my traveling companion and I had the opportunity to meet up with another friend who had opted for a hotel instead of an Airbnb. We found ourselves at a charming bar nestled within the lobby of the Hilton Paddington. Over the course of two separate days, we convened downstairs for some refreshing drinks. It was there that we encountered Abdullah, a truly exceptional bartender who knew exactly how to cater to the needs of three Asian women from America. His skills in mixology were truly remarkable, providing us with amazing drinks and impeccable service. Needless to say, the atmosphere passed the vibe check with flying colors.
Those moments we spent together were nothing short of delightful, and I already find myself yearning for their return. If you ever find yourself in need of a fantastic late-night bar experience in Kensington, this is the place to be. Here, you can engage in intimate conversations without the need to raise your voice amidst the clamor of a noisy pub. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring, and you can even top off your evening with a well-crafted nightcap. Plus, the conveniently located bathrooms in the lobby add an extra layer of convenience to the experience. A five-star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was the 6th hotel bed in 17 days. We were looking for a spot that was convenient to Heathrow, but still gave us a night in London. Each preceding hotel bed was somewhere on the Goldilocks spectrum. The first was too soft, the second was too hard, there was one that I could count the springs in the bed with my spine. The bed at POP was so comfortable I slept through the night for the first time on the trip. The room was astonishingly quite given where it was. The low rumble of the train was no bother. We actually didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning because it was so comfortable.
The pub itself is great. The food was good. The Guiness was perfect. We made some new friends in the pub.
The location in town is ideal. You can get anywhere you want from Paddington. In a less that 24 hour trip, we saw a play at Shakespeare’s Globe, another show at the Phoenix Theater, took a walk in Kensington Gardens, had time for Sunday roast in the pub, and slept 8 hours in that awesome bed.
I fly from the states to go to Cardiff, via Heathrow. I think from now on, when I get off the train in Paddington, I stop here for a pint before I catch my train to Cardiff or the airport. And if I have enough time, I’ll stay the night at the Pride of Paddington.
