We went for breakfast. I had porridge which was a really small amount so had scrambled egg too, but that was pretty tasteless. Went back 2 days later, had porridge again, this time it was a large portion so quite inconsistent.
Even without a reservation, not a problem and good value for money. A large menu with a great variety of dishes. Love their starters and deserts. We try not to order too much as the portions are more than adequate and we have leaving it !
Took my family there and was hopeful for some nice chicken. When you enter, there are plenty of tables. We found a table for 4 quickly. Noticed the table wasn’t clean and there was food on the seating. There are 6 ordering screens but only 3 were working, The ordering screen was easy to use and I elected to collect from the counter. We waited patiently (hungrily) for 30minutes then decided we need to see what’s happening, the staff member said our order would be with us shortly. 5 minutes later he arrived with a tray of food but no food for our kids, he said it would take 4 minutes. I asked why it took so long and what was the average wait, he said they were struggling due to having 2 large groups and usually orders took between 5-10 minutes. I was not impressed as there seemed to be plenty of staff. My wife ordered grilled chicken tenders and they were served in a cardboard box, when I lifted the box off the tray to pass it to her, a lot of liquid began literally pouring out of the corner. Needed quite a few napkins to mop it up. This liquid was oil (yuck). I ordered a ’Chicktopolis’ burger which was huge and to be fair was very nice. We all ordered skinny fries and there were plenty of them. They were adequate but no more. After 7-8 minutes the staff member arrived with the kids food ( grilled tenders again) and explained they were extremely hot. They were exactly that, they were far too hot to handle so we had to keep them away from the kids for a few minutes more. Once again they were practically swimming in oil and my kids were not impressed. I suspected microwavery as the chicken was very rubbery and chewy. We all ordered milkshakes with our meals and they were average at best, me and my son ordered chocolate but I found it challenging identifying any hint of chocolate. All in all a very underwhelming visit. Whilst we were there, roughly 55minutes, we saw no staff cleaning tables and the place began to look untidy very quickly. I had expected perhaps a different experience from the likes of KFC etc but this was so poor we will definitely not be returning. It was pretty disappointing that they made us wait so long, then they made us wait again for the kids food which was the same as my wife’s order. Why does it take sooo long for chicken And why the hell was the “grilled” chicken swimming in oil ?
Metimos por mi Pasta Bar, mientras que las tiendas en Lakeside. La selección es buena y los precios también son estupendas.
Sin duda merece la pena parar por algún helado con aioli a caminar por el complejo comercial con!
great food but wont let my kids in the soft play even when it is open. its an outrage they even removed the outdoor playground so there is no entertainment what so ever. its a joke why cant they just let kids have fun in this sad twisted world.
🥇🏆This is the place where everyone should eat!
From tasty food ,atmosphere like you dont wanna leave and the staff service amazing
Tesekkuler! I am really impressed and happy!
As I walked in, already greeted by a young man! Bright smile all the time, even quickly moving out from behind the reception and opening the door widely to let a electric scooter driven by a pensioner into the shop, very helpful. After we ordered, received a voucher and he explained to us what it’s about, shortly our foods is ready and we noticed free crackers as well, if you ordered over £20. Everything freshly cooked in an open kitchen, quickly and professionally. My favorite Wall Siu Chicken was lovely, sweet chili sauce over sliced chicken breast meat. Definitely worth recommending this place. Service is second to none!
I am extremely happy with the full service I received from Wagamama. I was served by Cynthia and she made the experience an extremely enjoyable and memorable one from being so attentive and caring. She helped me when I needed help and went above and beyond in the service she provided from ensuring I was happy with the food and experience to ensuring my dining was memorable. As a result I will definitely keep going back to Wagamama Romford and would definitely recommend Wagamama to all friends and family
Absolutely so rude. This will be the last time we ever order from them. They actually hung up on me and the service left me feeling upset and hurt. Don’t order from them the service at Lotus on Chafford hundred was a million times better
Visited today and chose bacon roll and 2 black coffees. Had family card but cashier charged me for the 2 americano coffees even though I queried the charge as I thought they were free with family card but she said no, now 50p each. Bacon roll was served in dry chilled dry roll and inedible.
After shopping, Returned for a lunch around 1.30 but food tepid and now served on paper/card plates. Ate half of it before it was cold and left the rest. This time 2 americanos were free and different cashier to the one this morning said they are free with family card.
Counter serving staff were working well but food offering was well below what it used to be… would rather pay a decent price for something that was edible. Overall restaurant now disappointing to say the least.
Serious bug infestation at the Lakeside branch, small flies crawling all over the counters, lights, cups and food. The counter above the coffee machine was covered in them 🤢
