Golden Fried Chiken-Pizza in Thurrock

Ordered on uber eats waited two hours got no contact from them so I contacted uber eats and even they couldn’t get contact from them. Never received the food in the end

Horrible. Burger buns were stale and hard. Got order wrong when I ordered nuggets for my child was given chicken bites which were also hard and recooked.

The meat wasnt fresh🤮disgusting

I was half expecting the rice box with lots of peri chicken slices, was not expecting three slices of chicken with soggy salad and tomatoes. The pizza was cold. Delivery was around 21:55 to 22:15 which came at exactly 22:16 so the delivery was not the issue. I give it 2/5 stars most likely not to order again.

it was late arriving. and also cold .

food was cold by the time it turned probably because when it said it being delivered a 5min journey took over half an hour also the quality of the food was terrible compared to last time I ordered and I had to heat the food up for 12mins

they sent the wrong pizza sent a crazy spicy pizza that no one could eat

Never ordering from them again 🤬 basically spent over £16 for a tub of coleslaw….. ordered bottle Pepsi Cod & Chips choc cake sour cream tub, the cod was cold & in pieces No chips was with it, No bottle Pepsi. So basically I paid 16 for coleslaw

Order golden wings bucket before all the burges just to have 2 chicken strips now its only one and very Small that’s not right

Price is great. Nicely presented food. The chicken fillets were just about cooked so were slightly pink and texture wasn’t nice so didn’t eat them. Chips were nice as they were fresh. Chicken strips had obviously be sat there a while so not great. Overall 3/5 as they can definitely improve with ensuring all foods are properly cooked especially meat and cooking fresh for every order. Would order again but would hope for perfectly cooked fresh food next time.

all 3 tubs of icecream were crystallized from defrosting and re freezing 😬 couldnt eat any of them

Was very good, but portion of peri peri rice box is really small. Only 3 strips and a little of rice. But with salad, overall tasty.

We tried Golden chicken for the first and we were pleasantly surprised! The pizzas are delicious and have some really interesting flavours ‘tikka paneer’ & a ‘feta cheese and olives’ pizza. The chicken wings and chips were crispy, fresh and tasty. Will order again soon!

I ordered takeaway. One bite of the grilled wing and i could taste that its was off. Foul tasting expired chicken. Threw the whole order away. It was only 1 time and 1 experience but have to review off of that.

Every time I order from here the food is great. They pay attention to detail which I think is great too. Whenever we fancy some fried chicken or chicken fillets we order from Golden Chicken

Ordered Mega feast meal, and didn't received 2 portions large fries.

Food is always hot and fresh. Chicken wings are more flavourful than the rest of the chicken shops around. Staff are friendly. Chips are crispy but not oily. Pizzas are good too and my daughter is obsesed with the chicken burgers. My only gripe is if you order online and add cheese (to a chicken burger), they put it in the bag unless you explicitly tell them where you want it. Wasted a good few slices (and money) learning that lesson.

One of burgers were uncooked and description of what came in bundle was misleading.

So food was late and cold! I’ve ordered 1/2 peri peri chicken meal x2 and peri peri wings I’d expected the chicken to be fresh and well marinated to be covered in sauce, however turned out to be dry and bland with a foul smell to it. Although i have selected the option saying i would like my meal (hot) but it was just bland boring cold no spice!

My food was delivered but the wrong order was delivered I got 2 really spicy pizzas and was so disappointing for my children that had been waiting all week for it

Beware! Shop has a very low food hygiene rating, so low its not displayed on the window. Order as you please but beware! Safe yourself the headache, stomach pains, petrol and time, just eat else where else, ppl that have no pride In displaying hygiene ratings but quick to charge money, ??? Just be safe. Food poisioning / negligence should be a crime. Some say the food is fast, I ask why so fast. When was it made? Are the chips fresh or triple fried and microwaved in between? I don't know? Don't ask staff, they don't know. Try ask.

I ordered the food at 5.30 and asked that it be delivered by 7pm, it was delivered at 7.15pm. Otherwise everything was great.

The staff are always unfriendly here and the food will make you ill. When someone asks for their chicken well done, it's a polite way of them asking that you cook the chicken through. I was shocked to find my chicken pieces burnt(grilled) on the outside and still pink in the middle. (How you burn breadcrumb in a deep fryer I don't know) but when I confronted the staff they insisted that my food had NOT been reheated as I suspect it had. The shop itself is located in such a way that you can't easily see any other fast food places nearby but 2 minutes towards Tilbury Train Station there are a handful of other takeaways that are well worth the extra legwork.

I'm loyalty customer, my food arrived cold, late more than 35 minutes, my kids was asking why food late. IT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! WORST COMPANY, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CLIENT'S

This was the worse meal I've ever paid for the fish was over cooked the ribs was like eating fat and very overcooked the cheesy chips was in a box covered in paper when you took them out of the box all the cheese was stuck to the box and the paper and they was cold I will definately not be ordering from there again £17 down the drain

they gave me 1/4 chicken instead of 1/2 and forgot about one drink, but a least food was fresh

My food wasn’t even cooked properly was as if the pizza had extra toppings put on top of a made pizza to create my order! Wouldn’t recommend I hope I get my money back was a waste I tried 1 slice and threw the lot away😒

The chicken and fries were nice however ordered paneer wrap for vegetarian but when it arrived it had chicken in it, phoned restaurant they said that's how it comes however on their paper menu and on just eat there is no mention of chicken just paneer, think menu needs to state that chicken is in it to avoid confusion.

Mixed salad size smaller than hand of my 5y old, asked for Italian thin base. Normal thick was delivered, lemon cake dry.

Fillet burger was tasty and the salad fresh on all the burgers. Chips were nice and warm when delivered.

The chicken, wings and peri peri chips were fantastic but I wasn’t so keen on the chicken burger.

Missing food and was late, won’t order again

Veggie Burger was fine but the pepperoni pizza had very little pepperoni on it, 3 slices at the most. Vegetable samosas had what definitely looked like meat inside, think they sent the wrong ones. Very annoying for my partner who doesn't eat meat. Portions very small also. Driver was polite but delivery took a while as they got lost getting here.

First time trying Golden Chicken and I must say the customer service and food was outstanding! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the chicken wings are some of the best I’ve tried. Also, fresh tasty pizza. Will definitely go back. Keep up the good work guys! 👌🏽

Missing items after being delivered 20 mins late. Not a good impression for a new business first time ordering. They also didn’t take calls it kept going to answering service. The manager did phone back and apologised also explained it was teething problems due to it being a new business. Food quality was good just unfortunate about the delivery being late and order not being complete. I would eat there again but only if going into the shop in person not for delivery

Pizzas are fresh and tasty will use again. And will have to try the peri peri chicken next time.

Excellent value for money. The restaurant ran out of 2 items that we’d ordered, but within minutes someone called to offer a replacement. Great customer service and will definitely be ordering again

Fantastic new restaurant, great staff and fresh tasty chicken and the tandoori pizza has to be my favourite. Brilliant service guys!!!
