Worst experience ever Iv paid for my food and it didn’t turn up after 3hrs rung the shop and they told me they were close now and the manager as already left the shop, so they have left me in limbo with no food for me and my kids, will never use them again…

Worst customer service ever. Ordered buy one get one free only received one pizza called and complained advised it was a software issue but would not redeliver my second pizza. Told to call head office.

Driver came waited 63 seconds (doorbell camera can prove it ) dogs didn’t bark and didn’t.ring bell had to call him as he missed called my phone rude and unhelpful then had to call store to be told driver would have to come again and would take 25/30/35 minutes even though it’s a 10 minute drive totally terrible I’d never ever use them again plus pizza was tasteless and very few toppings

Got charged on the phone and then changed again when delivery got the second charge back I would not give this to a homeless person as it would be insulting to them the place needs shutting down as they can't understand a word u say when ordering

It was an amazing experience with papa John’s. Pizza was so delicious. The pizza was ready within 10 minutes. It’s perfect. The guy named Ashlin his customer service was good. I suggest to everyone to try once.

Ordered pizza and today it was awful . The box used to pack pizza was dirty. I don’t know what you prepare it’s not pizza it’s like eating pizza dough only

I had to call restaurant to find out where my order was and was left on hold for 5 mins to be told that it would be another 20 mins for my food and when food arrived it was cold and stodgy so went in bin and had to order from uber eats, I would like a refund from this order

Ordered delivery today. Arrived on time hot food. Pizza was thin on the ground on toppings and I had ordered extra toppings. Also had 5 dips missing. Papa Johns used to deliver great service. Not so anymore. Dominions it is next time

Shocking service from Papa Johns. Spent 15min on the phone to the driver as he couldn’t find the delivery address, even though I was on the phone to him, while standing outside looking for him. Food was stone cold & very greasy. Food was also 15min late, but the app will not let me select 15min only 5min. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Papa John's on Orsett Road. The service was lackluster, the staff seemed disinterested, and the waiting time was far too long. When the pizza finally arrived, it was lukewarm and the toppings lacked freshness. I also found the cleanliness of the establishment wanting. I expected better from a well-known chain like Papa John's. Sadly, this visit didn't meet my expectations.

Do not order from this branch. The owner is incredibly rude. He bullys his staff also. We ordered a pizza for the next day (a children’s birthday party). I phoned 45 minutes before the delivery time to confirm the pizza would arrive on time and I was told it would. After it was 5 minutes late, I phoned and was told it was on its way. I kept chasing over 35 / 40 minutes and it eventually arrived ten minutes before we had to leave the party venue. The children were starving and it ruined our party as everything was rushed in the end / people were leaving having only eaten a little. The pizza we ordered was over 35 minutes late (numerous children were waiting to be fed) and before accepting the delivery late, I was told over the phone I would be issued a refund. A week later I was told the refund would take 5 - 7 days. I chased the refund again today and the owner (“Jitu”) told me it was my fault for accepting the pizza over 30 minutes late and for not answering my phone 35 minutes after the delivery was due (I was looking after numerous children at my son’s birthday party and therefore, was not by my phone). He told me he had “evidence” and screenshots. This is rubbish. It was not my fault at all and nobody explained a refund would not be issued if we accepted the pizza. In fact, a refund was promised and I was given the pizza. Whilst speaking to him, he abruptly interrupted me whilst I was speaking, he spoke to his staff in a very aggressive, rude and intimidating way and he sounds like a bully. His stuff sound terrified of him. He spent 20 minutes telling me it was all my fault, he told me he doesn’t have a surname (I explained I would formally complain) and he was very confrontational. This man does not deserve any business or custom. He accepts no responsibility for his own errors. I completely understand if somebody is training and new on the job but his attitude, lies and lack of people skills is shocking. Save yourself the bother and order your pizza from another Company and / or branch.

They are quite fast with he orders when you go and order straight from the shop, the food is nice, for a quick bite si the best place to go.

Never again. There must be an issue with the online ordering system, so for a 3rd time , I received an incorrect order. It might not be the store fault, but customer service is very poor. I called in and that rude Associate said it doesn't matter to him if he losses a customer because he has lots of other customers. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or for him to support. The Pizza came cold, as well very overcooked. Poor quality.

Delivered to the wrong address, called them to ask where my pizza was because it said it had been delivered and they tried telling me they rang someone in my house and they cancelled the order, I told them to read out that supposed number and was not anyone’s number in my house hold. Refused to give my money back ( pizza altogether cost £56!!!!)and said they’d send us another pizza, agreed then realised after our heated arguement over the phone they could do something to my food, so called up to cancel order and get my refund and they disagreed. Member of my house left angrily as was fed up with being talked to rudely, and being interrupted so went to papa johns to demand refund. Hadn’t arrived to papa johns yet when the same driver who didn’t deliver our order in the first place knocked on our door. We told him someone had left to get our refund and he gave us a little laugh, smiled and was very apologetic like that makes everything okay. WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM PAPA JOHNS AGAIN!

Food is OK but when collecting orders made online there is rarely anyone at the counter. I usually have to call out for someone at the back after being kept waiting.

The order was over 40 minutes late and cold

The pizza had too much sauce that it tastes like eating only tomatoes. The pizza had barely any cheese even though I ordered double. Mr Seby said on the phone that he can not take the pizza back and that the premium cheese blend is always very little compared to regular and therefore also making the sauce appear more than usual. This pizza was all sauce and no cheese. This is not a papa john's pizza by any measure. Returning customer several months after a poor experience but no more. It's even worse than before

Absolutely poor service! Waited over an hour for my delivery. When I called them they told me that the driver was on my driver which he wasn’t call them again 10 mins later and they told me he will be there and hang up on me. 10 mins later still no sign of the pizza so I called them again and they didn’t answer as I guess they could see my number! Won’t order again.

I almost walked in but luckily saw the man serving just leaning on the counter with his finger up his nose. A skinny Indian man, if you're passing, with far to much facial hair to be preparing pizza.

They take long to deliver and cover it up by completing the order early on the app. So don't exepct it to show up when it says its there.

Brilliant food and service great value for money

Order stated as delivered on the tracking app but arrived much late and after a call. Ordered extra dip x 3 didn't receive any. Filled in a complaint form online only to be contacted and told to give them the details of the complaint. Its 2 stars as we did eat thr pizza and didn't get food poisoning at least.

Terrible customer services, told a price over the phone and charged a different rate on delivery. The owner/manager doesn't listen as his customers services skills are poor, poorly trained staff....such a shame 😞

Worst papa John's pizza ever received. First of they said it was "delivered " and actually came 30 mins later. Pizza was so undercooked was almost raw we had to cook it in over for 20 mins. We both had belly ache all night. You rushing everything and we customers suffer. Remember we are the one that pay !!!!!

Placed order at 7:30pm, came at 9:30pm, wrong pizza, rude staff on phone and driver upon delivery.. happened 2 days in a row.. thought I'd give them a 2nd chance given how bad the reviews are on here for this specific place. Won't be ordering again.

food didn’t taste nice at all

One of the most strangest orders I have placed in a long time . I literally had to go out my house to find him down the end of our road . Food was nice but cold and forgotten bottle of Pepsi . He then turns up 45 minutes later after eating our food to knock on my door to give me the forgotten Pepsi . Very strange guy who gave me excuses aswell saying that I needed to let them know about the Pepsi at the restaurant when it’s clear it was on the Order . Please sort it out ! Maybe you need to rethink who you employ as it just was not good enough .

Ordered my food at 8.20pm the delivery driver delivered to the wrong address and was arguing it was the right address until we told them we had CCTV and a ring doorbell, the manager said they’d send out another one which they lied as we rang them again and he said oh where preparing it now it’s now 11pm and still no food! Shocking customer services! You’ll never receive your food!

Discracfull customer service. They are all hanging out at this pizza place and nothing is taken seriously..part of my order was missing so they charged me 30 quid for two dry pizzas and an anemic garlic bread and I was missing bottle of coke and some cauliflower wings...i opens the garlic mayo and it had fure literally growing out of it ...I threw it all away ..DO NOT RUIN YOUR FAMILY EVENING. IVE HAD BETTER MOTORWAY BURGER BAR FOOD !

I had the totally wrong order delivered. I rang up 8pm and had a delivery 8:40, however it was the wrong pizza and the actual order turned up 10:45pm nearly three hours later than planned.

Food was quick but delivered wrong pizza. Mistake quickly fixed and drivers were exceptionally polite.

Awful delivery, order was cold, missing parts, given wrong order. Tried to contact the store and was just met with a busy tone, delivery driver then came back to collect the wrong items but didn't have the right orders with him. Refused to take the pizzas back to store, tried to tell me the pizzas were cold because it had been 10 minutes since delivery even thoigh they were cold on arrival, then tried to say they were small and not round because they were handmade, one pizza was burnt and he still refused to take it back to the store until I took a picture of one, then snatched them and tried to throw them in my bin. Asked him to take them back to the store to call me as I couldn't get through, never returned a call to me. Awful service, awful quality control.

The delivery driver didn’t call me to tell me he was outside so he left and delivered other people food and bought mine back last FREEZING COLD. The restaurant was really rude to me also . I couldn’t even eat my food it was like it came out of a freezer . It was disgusting service and good

Order was for 6.45 pm it arrived at 5.35. I turned it away, phoned the restaurant and they said it was not their fault, they did not have it as a timed order so, I had to contact just eat, which I did via the chat function. While advising what happened, the restaurant phoned and agreed to send me a new order for the right time. It arrived, toppings were minimal. Wasn't great quality. But the main complaint is why have an option to select a delivery time on the app if the restaurant don't get notified of this request? Needs to be looked at.

Never had any problems with using this this branch while being a customer for over 4years now. The best pizza I ever had. Many times ordered domino's or pizza hat but then regretted! Always arrives warm and quick.

Worst customer service and delivery i’ve received from a Papa Johns branch ever. Staff on the phone very rude and dismissive.

For a pizza called all the meats, the amount of meat was somewhat Spartan.

Always had good food from Papa John's, although they do sometimes make errors (updating the tracking app 15 minutes early saying it's delivered when it's not, missing out on the garlic dips etc). But overall good service.

Didn’t listen to notes but everything else was fine.
