Great restaurant and very accomodating

Lovely experience beautiful ambiance and Lavinia one of the waiters who served us provided a great service

An overall mediocre experience. Service is definitely lacking. The waiter forgot to give us cutlery (we ordered spaghetti and a burger), forgot to bring our sparkling water, forgot to bring the kid's dessert... Had to ask for each item, gave up on the dessert. When I pointed out that we didn't get the ice cream scoop, when paying, waiter said : "it's ok it's part of the menu" lol Not a mean bloke but just scattered. He gave good service to the family next to our table though, asked them if they wanted dessert, a little chit chat about travel... Maybe they got a VIP option I don't know about. Anyway... Won't be going back.

Open until 11 - walked in at 9:20 and they said they’re closed. clearly still open but too lazy to clean the kitchens again but that’s life in the restaurant industry. Lazy staff

We came in, ordered and had to wait around 40 minutes for the food to come while the other came in after and got their food straight away. It also seemed like they only made our food when we asked how long it would be. When the food came it wasn't cooked probably. The chicken tasted like they just took it out of the microwave. So disappointed at this point plus a man wearing a red T-shirt was just ignoring us when we tryna ask for a bill. Couldn't been worse

Wonderful service today from the chef and the Jason server. Enjoyed the food and good for veggies and non-veggies.

My son and his colleagues were accommodated for lunch, and they had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful and helpful.

Food was good but service was extremely slow, needed to wait a lot to get our mains.

Visited today for the second time, on google it says it closes at 11pm. I arrived at 9.25 and the restaurant was closed, doors locked and lights off. Please update google as it does not reflect your opening hours, you were closed almost 2 hours early.

Terrible terrible Pizza, the worst ive ever had, simply no effort put in. Peperoni was fatty, dough was not nice at all. Have has better frozen pizzas by far.

Went in with friend and chatted while ordering meal which was very nice. On receiving our bill we all got our cash out to be told they had now gone cashless which is a disgrace. These company's are taken away the right to pay by our countries legal tender and are colluding with the banks to force us into a cashless societ. We won't be going back unless they change their policy.

Nope. Poor food, poor service. Sent the salad and potatoes al forno back as they were dry and off and they were removed from the bill. Partner had upset stomach in the night. So poor, worst restaurant experience for a long time.

We arrived to our booking early but were sat promptly. Had ample time with the drinks menu before our order was taken and then had an extra 10 minutes once we had drinks to look over the food menu. Once our order was taken, starters came out quite quickly and they were nice. Then our starters got cleared and instantly got our mains which were cold. Not once did anyone come to check on us to see how our meal was, it was only when we had stacked our still almost full bowls together did someone check that we were okay. We replied that no, our food was cold and we had been sat there for 25 minutes without anyone checking on us, our server asked if we wanted to pick something else from the menu and then cleared our plates. She came back with dessert menus and said they’d be on the house but our experience was already ruined at this point as we were very unimpressed. We witnessed her explain to the manager with our full plates still in her hands, yet we then waited another 15 minutes for the manager to come over again to offer us free desserts, which we declined again, and then asked quite abruptly if we wanted the bill then. We paid, one of our mains had been taken off the bill but when I presented a voucher, it was then added back on so we could use the voucher instead. Not once did we received an apology from any staff member and now it had ruined what should have been an pleasant anniversary dinner (which they were also aware of) Would not return, especially the Lakeside branch.

Food is below average. Way below. Service is, at best, average. Real problem is the staff. One member of staff was friendly. Two others we engaged were not. Rude & coarse is an understatement. Cleanliness is an issue. Glasses & cutlery were not clean. We cleaned them. Very boring atmosphere. Regret going there. Should've read the reviews on here 1st. Wouldn't ever return even if it was free.

The service in Prezzo lakeside is appalling. We ordered food and guests that arrived after we placed our order finished their mains before our starter showed up. The tables and chairs had food crumbs on them. We abandoned the mains in the end and left the restaurant. Avoid like a bad disease.

First time at a prezzo, and it was really nice. The waitress was absolutely outstanding she could not do enough for you. The food was yummy, cocktails and mocktails too. We will definitely be returning.

This place has many bad reviews and now i understand , i've been here many times and now its awful , staff are ignorant and walk past while wanting to ask questions .Clearly no one cleans as the tables are sticky , plates are unwashed , cups are dirty and more , food was alright . I ordered pasta with just butter for my child, well i thought it took about 30 minutes for her food to come and when it did arrive it was cold , not just cold freezing . I think that prezzo should make there kids meals abit bigger , my daughter finished her food and was still so hungry . Despite this when i went to the toilet there was toilet paper everywhere on the floor with the room smelling horrible . Everything in the menu is overpriced and half of the menu was unavalible due to the kitchen.

My experience was a disaster! I do not recommend it ever. First of all I got a tiny cup to drink from that you can barely hold it in your hands. Than the workers ignored us although they went past us multiple times. My waiter was one of the best one she served most of the tables. I ordered a burger for my child but the chicken was super soft and it felt like it was microwaved. Their oven was 'broken' therefore half of the menu was gone since everything was in the oven even some of the deserts. For my point of view some staff where just in the bar laughing having fun while we waited 30mins as other people who came after us got their food but it was the same thing. When I entered the restaurant I had no respect just how many people are there that's all. I thought that was it but when I went inside the women's bathroom I had a shock. There were stains on the floor and the floor was sticky aswell as toilet paper all over the floor. Who knows when they actually did a deep clean in there. There were barely any toilet paper, I had to use MY own tissue.

The food was okay. The main problem being the staff who were so unbelievably rude. It was obviously she was trying to come across as quite patronising towards us, especially when she threw the bill and card receipt on the table. I have never been somewhere that has staff as rude as that. Will not be returning.

When the weather is good, it's fun to sit here, because there are tables outside, and in front of it is a water channel with small boats and yachts. Amazing view. The food is delicious, the service is good.

Nice place to go out, service team seems to be understaffed for a large restaurant like this one. Very friendly interior. Some of the tables were sticky. But food was okay and it came quick.

Didn’t have a great experience, my son’s food looked and tasted stale and all of our food was served on dirty tableware. The manager on duty was dismissive and lacked customer service.

Not good service, phoned to book a table by the window, table wasn’t booked, instead got a wobbly table far from the window! Waitress slammed drink down, rude! No condiments or Parmesan cheese was offered, had to send olives back because they were bad!

Ruxandra was great, She delivered awesome customer service and talked us through our first visit. Food was great and the sea bass were the best thing I’ve eaten🥰 Well done Ruxandra, keep going like this 👍

Sadly had a very unfortunate visit tonight. My sister and I ordered the VEGETARIAN calzone, however, the kitchen staff decided to miss that important word out, and cook us two meat calzones. It was only when my sister was half way through, and saw little pieces of pancetta in there, that we questioned it being vegetarian (the ingredients in the meat and veg are the same, bar the pancetta in the meat one). We check with our server, who confirmed the calzones were indeed meat, but the order showed vegetarian was ordered. She was very apologetic, and we genuinely can't fault her at all. However, how on earth does the kitchen staff not see, or bother to care that they said vegetarian. Granted, the server and manager were very nice, and took the kids meal off the bill, our two starters and the calzones. Very nice of him, however, it still doesn't take away the feeling of sickness and regret. Sad to say we won't be visiting again. Thanks to the manager and server, but I can't forgive the kitchen staff who royally fudged up. Now excuse me while I go throw up.

Absolutely disgusting service from a girl at the front desk. Walked in at 7.15pm greeted by two members of staff. Asked if they have a table and that we have a tastecard. The blonde lady in Prezzo uniform said yes. The other dark hair lady wearing a blazer proceeded in a rude way to ask us about terms and conditions of the Taste card, asked if we booked...in a half empty restaurant. She was very rude and spoke to me and my wife like we came to eat there for free???? The restaurant is listed on Taste Card app, the other lady said they had spaces, what's the reason for this questioning? Avoid at all costs. Even 1 Star is too much for the service in that restaurant. Someone needs to teach this lady basic customer service and manners. We walked out and taken our custom to Bella Italia who were very polite and accommodating.

Rude manager at the door. She took my phone to check Tastecard T&Cs where she should already know in and outs if they have Collaborated with Tastecard. Although the waitress have greeted us and offered us a table She decided to stop us on our way to ask if we had booked a table trying to intimidate us. Don't go there unless you want to be belittled by this member of staff wearing a blazer. We left and went to Bella Italia instead. We will never go there again.

Food to be fair was spot on. But the service from the waitress was shocking ... I won't put her name on here but will be speaking to the manager. Got offended when we asked for water, scoffed and walked away . Wasn't offered any mozzarella for the Dishes, we had to ask , the bill was thrown down and payment took , stormed off . Nothing like service with a smile and this was nothing like service with a smile

Seating area was cold. It was a large party and our bill came to £366. Which included a service charge of £30. Which we was not made aware of. Looking on the online menu there is nothing notifying us of the charge. We will not be going back again.

Called in today for lunch as a family of four, we hadn’t booked but we’re still able to get a table. Nice menu to choose from and at the moment kids eat free with adults buying a main meal so very good value. All our food looked and tasted good, but service was a bit poor today, waited a while to get our order taken and when deserts came no spoons had to find waitress in order to get them. Overall good and worth a visit as food was good.

Will not be going back. 1/2 hour seated before we was asked about drinks. I hour before food came for the kids, 2 of them another 15mins for the other 2. 2 adults got their pizza I waited 1/2 for my pasta dish ( 5 people who came after us had been ther 20mins all had their food) my dish had no taste to it. It just tasted like cream Asked for a Pizza instead waited nearly 25 mins for that. Waited for the kids desserts came 20 mins after that and they were fed 1st.

Absolutely horrible food for the price you pay. The food is clearly not freshly cooked but appears to be heated up in the microwave. We had to send back the Alfredo as it had absolutely no taste whatsoever. I had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni. The tubes of pasta were stiff and the filling was stiff too. The side dish of garlic and rosemary potatoes was 2 hasselback potatoes that had clearly been bought as frozen and then oven cooked. Not at all as described on the menu. The best part of the meal was the calarmari starter. Which seemed freshly prepared and cooked. Really disappointed in this place. Won’t be returning

Cold food Reheated in microwave, soggy food returned to table. Soon returned back to kitchen. Was offered a new dish but lost appetite tbh. Uninterested and unmotivated service. Dessert menu offered with only one option available, to be told sorry we had a busy day! Prezzo staff gathering at serving point talking about the tables and customers, including us, in an unprofessional way. Never will return to this restaurant again, no clue how to treat customers.

Lovely food but I'm sorry to say the service was shocking. The starters arrived before our drinks but it was busy so we accepted that and all was going well. Then our mains arrived we were told that we would get cutlery. We waited for 10 minutes before asking another member of staff for a fork. We were told there was cutlery on the table leaving us to say we had used it with our starters. We were not offered dessert menus at all and then had to ask again for more drinks. Again after 15 minutes we asked another member of staff fo our drinks. Our original waiter brought them and said that these drinks were on him as he had forgotten our order. We were then left for a further 45 minutes. Nobody approached us to see if we wanted any dessert or anything yet 3 members of staff were dancing behind the bar and then eating, another staff member was in the corner on the till and others were walking in and out of the kitchen. This was despite there only being four tables full in the entire restaurant. We finally managed to ask for the bill and explained that we had been left with the waiter simply saying "oh". Will not be returning anytime soon which is a shame as the food was really nice.

I entered the restaurant to dine with my 1 year old son alone and felt like we were forgotten and below the waitresses from the start. The main issue was that we asked for a takeaway box as my son was tired and didn’t finish his meal this alone took 36 minutes to come (it’s a box). My drink order was incorrect, our pasta went cold whilst waiting for Parmesan and all I could hear was the friction and constant bickering of what looked to be the male manager working behind the bar (plain clothed) and a female floor manager. I have to say the female manager had an awful attitude and excuse for everything and deliberately served and prioritised other elder customers over us. We dine at Lakeside 2/3 times a week and I have absolutely no incentive to return. Her attitude stunk and upon observing we were being forgotten about more than once I raised it with her when she was at the table serving behind me to which she put her finger up as if to shhh me! Absolutely disgraceful. When this manager brought over the bill she quietly tried profusely apologising by offering my son lollipops (which he is too young to have and a choking hazard). As I said to her then, there isn’t an excuse you left us waiting for the bill for a further 30 mins after the 36 minute wait for a cardboard box. How experience was nothing short of AWFUL!!!

We had booked a table at lunchtime mid week, but we didn't need to it was very quiet. We were welcomed by staff and allowed to pick any table. We were served straight away and our food came out in good time, which was delicious!

Visited here a few times recently. Service has always been good and the food also was very good.

Ignored by every member of staff when we first arrived. The meal was nice but service chaotic and staff not very polite. As part of a voucher for drinks we asked if we could have coffee at the end and were told yes. However when we asked they said the machine had been turned off, only when we complained they then turned it on and made them. They then stood behind our table talking about people in a rude detrimental manner with very loud voices. Not somewhere we will be visiting again.

Second time visiting this branch in lakeside. I ordered the gorgonzola burger and a tre gusti pizza. Both were very fresh and not a long wait. The staff are extremely helpful as I requested some extra of the sauce that was in the burger. The sauce was amazing 😍 truffle mayo Out of the restaurants along the brodwalk this is deffo the all rounder with service, quality and value for money !!

Chicken from salad was old cold and undone 🤢 Calzone pizza had inside 2 slices of cheap chorizo, cheap ( they say ham but it's not ) and 1 pepper... Had more pepper than meat .... Avoid this fake salad/pizza place I had better pizza in my neighborhood fish and chips place :))

We had a very enjoyable post cinema meal. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and the food was delicious, my only suggestion is a wider choice of sorbets. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the service was at a good pace. The voucher I received for a free dessert to celebrate my Prezzo anniversary was a nice gesture. One thing, the ladies toilets could do with some attention

Visited here after we took our little girl to Winter Wonderland. Staff were very friendly, and there was an extensive menu to choose from, I had the salmon rigatoni, which I would definitely recommend! The only reason I have rated 4* is because my little girls food when it arrived was stone cold.

Food was lovely but service appalling. We had a ‘manager’ serving us who we had to repeat our order to. When the food came she got it the wrong way round (there were 2 of us) barely any other tables occupied then it took forever to get the bill… literally nearly an hour with eye contact being blatantly avoided and others served.

Came here with my family for my birthday and while the food was great, the service was atrocious. Our server had a really poor attitude, and it took over 1/2 an hour to take our order. It was such a letdown.

It's rare to have that welcoming and caring service! We come with two children (one with food allergies) and our elderly grandma who went out first time in a long time. Lady who was our waitress was absolutely lovely! Accommodating and really mindful of our extra needs. Food was great. Espresso was really, really nice. Big plus for vegan options, especially delicious vegan desserts.

We had such a nice time 9/11/23. The lady who served us (might have been the manager, not too sure) was lovely, very attentive and nice to chat to. The food was delicious and she made me the nicest coffee I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend 😌 the tirimisu and the citrus cooler were amazing also.

Went for lunch with my wife & mum. It was really busy, but we’ll staffed and friendly service. All 3 of us had different mains, Truffle & Gorgonzola burger for me(Well cooked and tasty) My mum had the Risotto, wife the Sea food Ravioli and both thought their food was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious and the lemon meringue cake was loved by my wife. A very pleasant experience and we’ll be going back soon.

The food was ok, totally understaffed but the staff were very friendly. One of our desserts came with cream that was off and pretty rank.

I have had many positive experiences at other branches but this Prezzo is one to avoid. It was busy as it was half term (but it was about 2pm). We only had to wait a few minutes before a woman came to seat us but she was interrupted by a very abrupt man who barked, " How many?" at us. Everytime she came over, he server kept touching me on the back/shoulder with her hand and I kept moving my body away. I eventually had to ask her to stop after the third time but she still did it to my husband as we were paying. The starters and pasta dishes were fine but my husband's saltimbocca was very thin and over cooked, the cabbage was wet and floppy and the potato looked like it had been heated in a microwave, not roasted al forno as described in the menu. The sauce was incredibly watery. They did replace this meal but then we didnt get to eat together. A really disappointing experience.

A very busy Prezzo restaurant during half term which was clearly understaffed. Food good as always at Prezzo. I find the choice of starters very boring these days. No chicken/meat options. Starters came out quickly but it took over 45 minutes to get our mains. Didn't bother with desserts for this reason.

Nice food, but the staff member who dealt with us during our meal was rubbish, she couldn't understand the majority of what we were saying, when ordering, very strong language Barrier, which made our experience quite disappointing overall and then when we paid, we had an offer which she didn't how to use and she wasn't able to explain the details and then proceeded to come across agressive because we didn't understand her....

On last Saturday we had dinner in Prezzo with friends. We got table without booking very quickly. Fantastic customer service. Exceptional costumer service from Fation. He made the atmosphere really amazing and we enjoyed our time. The food were delicious. The cocktails were great. Strawberry lemonade was the best lemonade I ever had. However the tables were sticky and really worn-out, with marks all over them.

A very sad outlet of a chain I usually have a lot of time for. Not a single hello, please or thank you during our visit. And staff that would not stop touching our shoulders despite being asked not to. The venue is cavernous and dark, nor fabrics to attempt to buffet sound so you get the experience of a deafening school canteen. To complete the school dinner experience I had one of the worst things I've ever been served in a restaurant: the 'new' saltimbocca was a cardboard-stiff chicken breast, soggy cabbage cooked to falling apart, and an "Al forno" potato that had clearly been microwaved. Surrounding by a watery mess of a sauce. Disgusting. Staff did substitute the meal quickly and without fuss, but I can't get over how (a) that gets on the menu in that state and (b) how a kitchen sent it out. Men's toilets were _dusty_ with calcified limescale on the taps and mouldy grout. Who knows when they were last properly deep cleaned. Prezzo usually has decent standards but this outlier sticks out like a cherry tomato. Avoid.

Extremely slow service, from booking a table to waiting 20 minutes at the front door to be seated on a two seater table with three guests, cramped. Took a further 10-15 minutes to get someone’s attention for drinks & possibly move tables, then a further 10 minutes after receiving the drinks we were allowed to order food, the “truffle fries” came with zero truffle just extra parsley & the tiniest bit of Parmesan, overall very slow experience, quite disappointed because the food was okay, could of been better though.

I order with Deliveroo from here,i was wait for my food more then 35-40 minutes… they decide to cancel my order … i was try to contact them,and surprise like everywhere .. money back ? For sure in 2-3 minumum working days … so when you want some you need to pay stright away,for recive back ? Wait couple of days … never ever come back again here

Terrible experience. When we arrived at about 8.pm we were told there were no pizza or bread dough products available. One of the meals turned up about 15 mins before the other three dishes ,which were all either under cooked or still frozen. My partners dish had said sliced potatoes, but he was given a frozen unsliced whole potato which was still stone cold in the middle. You could see where it was supposed to be sliced and served on the plate but whoever is working in the kitchen has no idea of presentation or has any cooking/ 're heating skills. His meal also arrived without any sauce or prosciutto. He sent it back , waited another 10 mins for an under cooked inedible meal.

Ruined birthday celebration, we had a booking for 1700, but when we arrived it was chaos; 2 members of staff (very junior) no obvious host or manager, queueing out of the door, finally taken to our table, 2 tables pushed together of different sizes! We had pre booked a booth as it was a birthday dinner.The Restaurant was a tip -either uncleared tables with people waiting to pay or people looking stressed waiting to order or food. The bar top was full of dirty glasses. After 25 mins and waving at one of the 2 junior waitresses finally came to take our drinks order, my wife ordered a small Malbec, the waitress replied we have none! We ordered drinks and was meant to be ordering food as well to save time but she wandered off. After 10 minutes we had decided if it took this long to get 5 drinks the food would be a disaster, it certainly looked like it. We informed the waitress we were leaving as the service was terrible, she was rude, We walked out. Dreadful

Prezzo lakeside is the worst thing I have ever experienced …food was cold had to send back twice the girls who worked as waitresses had no idea what they was doing spent most time talking in corners and not acknowledging us when waving or calling them over we tried to explain our situation and got treated like dirt this is not the experience and service I paid for ? The waitresses seem to be young and have no experience in the industry and only came over to give us the food .. I will not come back here and not expect anyone to go here unless they want to Be treated like rubbish very disappointed with everything …restaurant was empty aswell where was the hospitality. Girls where only interested on being on their phones and wearing unprofessional outfits and accessories didn’t feel welcoming …

Prezzo is a favourite chain of mine. Service was friendly.

The oak smoked salmon pasta was very nice. The rest was very average with the staff under par. They were very inattentive and it was really difficult trying to catch anyone’s eye.

The 1st dish was not tasty. 2. boards where pizza is served, unpleasant smell. 3. and sticky tables that should have been replaced a long time ago. 4. you have to wait a very long time for everything

Awful service, awful food. Spaghetti carbonara was what felt it was made with wallpaper paste. Very thick and claggy. The wine was warm!

I enjoy visiting Prezzo, it is one of my favourite restaurants. I recently visited with my daughter, it was a Saturday evening so I booked prior to going. On my arrival the restaurant was only half full which surprised me. We ordered our drinks and then she came back and took our meal order. We could see our drinks sitting on the bar. We did eventually receive our drinks just before I was about to say something, then within minutes our starter arrived. The food was nice. Plenty of it. The staff were very friendly but the service was very slow. They didn’t look short staffed, seemed to have enough staff walking around. I do feel that Prezzo is not as buzzy and busy as it used to be but that could be the cost of living crisis for people. I will still be visiting Prezzo because I enjoy their food!

Thank goodness for Prezzo. Exhausted after a day out and caught in the evenings torrential rain, we parked up and went looking for food at Lakeside. Prezzo was totally hidden down the end of the row, and only after dismissing everything else we found it. The building work to fix rotting walkways and sketchy looking refurbishments make it almost impossible to spot. The whole meal was enjoyable, from the friendly welcome to the great food. Prezzo always has a couple of new and interesting things to try, can't remember which pizza I had but it was very good. The staff kindly boxed up our kids desserts, it was getting late and tensions were starting to fray. Thanks for a great meal 👍🏻

I visited last night and i was quite disappointed, i’ve visited before and i had an amazing time, can’t quite say the same for yesterday. I walked in and the manager Martha i think and she didn’t even greet us professionally, she didn’t speak so we had to ask for a table of two, to which she didn’t respond she just grabbed menus and took us to the table, i can’t fault the food, and the waitress claudia was lovely but Martha makes me really reconsider if i should come back.

Where to start. Everytime we moved something on the table it was stuck. Really poor service. Food was reasonable however. Had to keep asking for the same things . So frustrating. We came out to take the stress out of cooking. Big mistake.

Absolutely loved the food. Waiting staff was up to a great standard and were very lovely including food being at our table very quick. Also a lovely seating area outside if its okay weather. Overall great experience to finish off the day. Thank you very much Prezzo.

Very disappointed last time I was there. I don’t usually have time to leave a review but I’m just doing this so staff is aware. There was a strong smell on the tables at the back wall next to mirrors and the table was super sticky. I changed the table next to windows and I could still smell the smell and even the other one was sticky. So I had to leave. I love my Carsar Salad in there but last time was not a good experience.

Great lunch spot. Food was tasty, restaurant was quiet so plenty of space. The service from Ruxandra was second to none, she really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great lunch.

Great food, location and cocktails

Gave one star because I couldn’t give none. Food was terrible as was the service. One dish arrived cold and half was missing. They took the cold bit away and left the rest but when they still hadn’t returned after 15 minutes we asked for completely new dish. They wouldn’t take back the other persons dish so we basically ate our dinners separately. Servers do their best and apologised but I think they have idiots in the kitchen. The restaurant was unsurprisingly half empty so they can’t even blame the terrible food on that. The area around the bar heading into the toilets smelt strongly of sewage. It really was an awful night out.

Shame that the decent quality of food was spoilt by poor service from the kitchen. The fella who waited our table was pleasant (apologised and gave us a discount off the bill) but I get the feeling the overall management of the restaurant was poor this evening as the orders were backing up in the kitchen and several tables seemed to be getting irritated with the slowness. We arrived at 16:50 thinking we’d be done by 6-6:30 but left at 7:20 or so. Disappointing.

Very good restaurant, our 3rd visit, although 1st was a massive disappointment, restaurant has improved massively and I can honestly recommend it to everyone. Will definitely come back.

The meal was so small, I had to have a Big Mac meal within an hour as it left me so hungry.
