Prezzo Lakeside in Thurrock

Asel was such a lovely waitress. Met us with a smile and such a lovely lady. It’s the second time we’ve had her at this Prezzo and it’s always nice to see when she serves our table. Thank you Asel 😃

Great family dinner, excellent food, quick service from Lavinia who looked after us well.

Asel served us and was warm, friendly and had a lovely laugh. She was a gracious loser at rock, paper and scissors. Food was lovely.

We came a bit early (11:30) so it was pretty empty, the service was very good especially in the more quiet atmosphere. Ruxandra was super helpful too and met all of our dining needs. Couldn’t ask for a better meal/service.

Ruxandra was warm and suggested excellent recommendations. The rigatoni arrabbiata and the elderflower juice was divine! Will definitely come back to the Lakeside branch 😊

My recent visit to Prezzo was nothing short of fantastic! The food was exceptional and it was cooked to perfection.What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service from our waiter, Deepak. He was attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Prezzo is an absolute family favourite of ours. We don’t have one near where we live anymore so when we have family days out we always look to see if we can book prezzo for dinner. However, we went to the one in lakeside which was looking very run down and tired for a prezzo, toilets not working but that’s fine these things happen. Staff were useless, couldn’t take our order with the drinks order, although we said we are ready to order. She took the drinks order and then didn’t come back for 10 minutes, we had three hungry kids with us we just wanted to get their food orders in. No cutlery on the tables. No napkins. Cans of coke (shocking price) and tumblers which did have I’ve in but were filled with melted ice, none of us used these cups, who wants to mix coke and water. Chips arrived , tiniest potion every BUT dripping in oil these chips were soggy and slimey my son only ate one. We asked for mayo and ketchup which came 10 minutes after getting food, waste of time. But came in a coffee cup as the waitress couldn’t find little pots. Daughter ordered of the adult menu, she always gets the double burger and took one bite and said it’s not edible , this use to come with chips but again had to order separately and were disgusting and dripping wet. Husband ordered pasta, it was like a child’s potion, two maybe three spoonfuls and said it was room temp and not as nice as it use to be. When we asked for the bill it took a while and I ask the guy to scan my rewards app but he was so confused didn’t know what it was , English wasn’t great and in the end we said don’t bother we just wanted to pay and leave. £100 wasted so disappointed, would have been better in McDonalds

I recently dined at Prezzo and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend Prezzo for great food, a lovely ambience, and excellent service—especially from Deepak! I will definitely be returning soon.

I popped into Prezzo Lakeside for lunch and had an absolutely brilliant experience. The food came out quickly and tasted incredible — full of flavour and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they care about quality. I was served by Paula, who was so friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a really nice, relaxed vibe. I’d 100% recommend coming here — whether you’re just grabbing lunch or planning a proper sit-down meal. Can’t wait to come back!

Good food, portion size good and attentive waitress

I booked this Prezzo for my daughter's 15th birthday. Her and 10 of her friends had a brilliant time. They were very well looked after. The staff even sang happy birthday and brought out a lovely piece of chocolate cake with a candle. Thanks Prezzo Lakeside for a lovely meal and a lovely memory.

Food - bland, no flavour, 2 out of 3 of us couldn’t finish our meals. The next day we are all feeling sick. Meatballs and hummus were nice but we didn’t order the hummus! Service - rushed, input incorrect order. They did comp the dish which was nice and our waitress was kind and chatty but who i assume was the manager was quite rude and making comments under his breath. Atmosphere - the decor was pretty but the music was a bit too clubby for a sit-in Italian restaurant. Couldn’t really concentrate on my food as another customer near us had his bottom showing the whole time. Overall it was okay but we probably won’t be returning.

Manager unhelpful with regards to my buy a gift booking. Just keep telling me I had booked it wrong even though I had a confirmation email & unique code. Was not interested in helping brought over laptop in front of other customers to show me I had booked it incorrectly & kept repeating i had done it wrong then asked his waitress to deal with us and thank God julianna took over I had infact booked it correctly and had the unique code the manger needed. Manager just did not want to know & came across as rude Julianna however was brilliant & we received excellent service from her I have emailed head office about this too

We always go to the Thurrock Lakeside Prezzo as the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is always delicious and great value for money.

Pizzas very dry. Lasagna slightly burnt on top. Waitress spilt Prosecco over me and my chair. I had to request a dry chair. Not the best experience I’ve had there.

It was the perfect size for little ones, and they loved the fun presentation. It’s such a creative touch that made the meal extra special for them. And let’s talk about the Cream Egg Calzone — wow! What a showstopper of a dessert. Gooey, rich, indulgent, and everything you could want in a sweet treat. It was honestly one of the best desserts we’ve had in a long time. Thank you again to Julianna and the whole team for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon!
