The best restaurants serving Default food in Pier Tendring East of England

Absolutely lovely people. I ordered a small cod and large chips to share with my son and the portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable! Old fashioned looking shop but good food so who cares! Haha.

A group of girls out celebrating a birthday, we decided to stop here for 1 drink & stayed the whole night! Really lovely venue, friendly staff, great dj, lovely cocktails & not expensive. A restaurant by day & a bar by night, on a Saturday, will definitely be back for drinks but will also come back for food, just what Clacton seafront needs Xx

Venue was amazing, sadly the food was not! We ordered quite alot, the goat didn't have much curry flavour, was pretty tasteless to be honest, the colour ect was spot on just lacked seasoning, the rice and peas again lacked seasoning and I do prefer long grain easy cook rice than basmati for rice n peas. The jerk chicken was way to salty and the seasoning was only skin deep, not fully in the chicken, the gravy that was with the jerk chicken and jerk pork was just black tar like no love in it at all! No onions no garlic no chilli pieces ect the coleslaw was amazing and toned down the saltyness of the chicken. The fried plantain was really good. The mac cheese again looked good lacked flavour! Dumplings where OK. The jerk pork 🙈 can't really comment on that never ate it. Maybe chef was having a off day but felt soulless no love in the food! The staff were all absolutely lovely the venue was very pretty, service was great. I do fully understand that obviously the chef has to cater for multiple tastes, and everyone's tastes are different, so not sure what happened the gravy to be honest was like the juice from the chicken then just thickened, but had a salty bitter taste rather than heat and flavour.

This is my go to Chinese in Clacton, they are friendly and the food is fresh and delicious! I get it near enough every week from royal bejing and I have only ever had one mistake by them, which they then gave me a free meal on my next visit. Definitely recommend !!

Eat here often. Staff are friendly and food is excellent. Never experienced any of the problems that some negative reviewers have but have seen the staff deal brilliantly with drunk, abusive people

Lovely little spot with great Italian food and a warm, welcoming vibe. The pizza is fresh and full of flavour, and the pasta hits the spot. Friendly service and fair prices — definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Had a lovely meal for my dad's birthday really enjoyed it there was 16 of us service was really quick and staff was very helpful enjoyed so much came bk the next day highly recommend

Ate in the restaurant on Sunday just gone, a bigger group of us so spread over two booths. Best fish and chips I've had in years. Really excellent. Shame I live 180 miles away. Cheers!

Fabulous breakfast full English with a pot of tea, plus egg on toast, all ways good quality ingredients great staff well worth a vist

Lovely food as always, staff so warm and friendly. Had the homemade Lemon Meringue Cheesecake. It was to die for. I could have ate the whole thing. Will be requesting it again Julie Edwards-Shaw

We visited this cafe/restaurant whilst visiting family in clacton. They use this lace a lot and we took them there for breakfast as they recommended it. We got a table straight away. We got the menus quickly, we ordered drinks and then our food. The waiting staff were all so friendly and polite. The food we had was very good, fresh and very hot. It was a good price for us all to have breakfast and drinks.

Again to the warwick arms great food fantastic atmosphere very very fabulous staff and owners food to die, drinks we'll worth it cocktails kept my partner happy

I went for food and camping with our campervan and the staff was so lovely and caring! The food was delicious and the toilets at the campsite were extremely clean!

Lovely GF fish and chips. Wait was 15 mins and I was told in advance and happy to wait as I was more comfortable it was GF. Would recommend
