This is a really lovely restaurant, we ate there last Wednesday and it was a really good dining experience. The waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful a real asset to the business I should think. The steaks were perfectly cooked. I asked for salad instead of chips ets and the salad was amazing. I would recommend anyone staying in Clacton to go here. Excellent

Crispy chicken wings for starters with buffalo sauce, really tasty The steak I had was cooked to perfection medium to well done, everything was piping hot the Stilton sauce was spot on. Banana milkshake for dessert with squirty cream on top with a great banana flavour Staff were excellent nothing was any trouble the bill was really reasonable.

Staying at the nearby Premier Inn stopped here for dinner. So glad we did. The place is lovely and bright and the owners / staff so friendly. I had the ribs and chicken wings combo and my wife the hot dog and chips. Proper pork sausage and did her fresh onions instead of crispy ones. Have never had so much meat on a rack of ribs and absolutely cooked to perfection as was everything else on the plate. Pleasantly surprised by the bill as expected it to be higher than it was for the food quality, quantity and drinks we had. If ever down Clacton way again will definitely return and highly recommend.

If you’re gonna do anything, head to this place. To start, the service was 10/10, very honest and friendly, wish I had asked her name to give credit! She made us blue lagoons and woo woo’s, both were made to perfection. The food itself was to die for, I suggest the mac and cheese with the pull pork personally. All my friends agreed that the food was amazing. We also had dessert, they brought out our hot chocolate brownie's, which we were expecting to be small like usual, but they were so big & all the toppings were a perfect touch. The outdoor sitting area was one of the best parts of the evening too. Thank you!

Great little spot. Went in as a group of 6 and all walked out very full and very happy. If you are a meat eater looking for a kitchen that knows how to grill pork and beef to perfection and somewhere without charging the moon, this is the place for you. Highly advice a walk along the seafront after as you'll definitely need to burn off the fantastic American style desserts.

Visited last night to try out the steaks and the new ribs and chicken wing combo we have heard about since the revised menu, The steaks were cooked to perfection and the ribs and chicken wings were very moreish. Left the restaurant feeling very satisfied, the staff were excellent along with the new chefs, well done to all concerned.

Perfect cocktails, lovely staff , we didn't eat but the food looked good. The place is also very pretty if you like the colour pink.

The food was more some the atmosphere was very family oriented and the staff could not have been more attentive in great surroundings

We met up with a group of friends just before Christmas for drinks. The atmosphere was great felt very friendly and welcoming. Bar staff were really helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

I was part of a large party spread over 2 long tables. Despite our numbers, the service was excellent and each course arrived for all of us within a few minutes from start to finish. The food was excellent and, I understand, was all cooked fresh. Decor was cocktail bar based and very pleasing. I'm not a local but would be more than happy to visit again next time I'm in Clacton.

Would of liked to leave a review, I’d been told they were now doing breakfasts however never seems to be open in the mornings. Even on Remembrance Sunday at 11.30am when all other restaurants had queues outside this place was closed, very strange

I’ve been coming here from when the restaurant opened in the summer and have a meal here every week, last night I thought I would try the brand new menu and I wasn’t disappointed, all the food was presented and cooked to a high standard and reasonably priced, the staff were very attentive and nothing was not too much trouble for them and to cap off the evening at 9 o’clock for the first time on Wednesdays they had Karaoke with some good singers, looking forward to going again this Saturday with 18 friends.

What a lovely looking place. Was quiet but the time of year and early time. Made to feel welcome the minute we walked in. Clean. Bright. I had surf and turf. Loads of Stilton sauce. Medium rare. Perfection. Ribs tender and tasty. I felt chips too skinny but hot. And I'd like a Sauvignon but Chardonnay was lovely Special shout out to Amy. Made us so welcome. Worth a revisit

We booked a table for 3 for 6pm. Trying to get in there with an autistic 9 year old before it gets too lively and loud. Got there a little early and had our pick of tables to have a view out to the sea. Don’t be put off by the negative reviews. My partner and I both had steak and chips which was cooked spot on to our taste. A generous amount of Stilton sauce also helped too ☺️ My partner loved the cocktails too, which we thought were very reasonably priced. My daughter loved her fish fingers and chips too and ate the whole lot, which unless it’s McDonald’s is extremely rare! All three of us had dessert which was unbelievable. The sundae I had was delicious, whilst the brownie my partner had melted in your mouth. Overall a great meal and really good value for money. There’s a prezzo next door, which as most know is a massive food chain. If I had to choose between the two I’d eat here again and give the family run business my custom.

Killick’s started their new morning menu today, I had the new big breakfast which I must say was the first breakfast I’ve ever had with no grease on the plate. Can’t wait to have a cooked from fresh the evening meal from the more extensive menu that also starts this afternoon, if it’s anything like the morning food which was very tasty and filling people won’t go wrong eating here.

I really want to be fair with this review as I think this place will improve with time and that would be good for the town. Visited with friends, place was quite busy and service slow, 20m to get a drink. Food quite poor, not hot and no real flavour. One of our party found the food inedible and didn't get a particularly nice response from staff. Everything took so long and was just not nice or enjoyable. I think for perspective it's so new and they are finding their feet so I hope they improve and then would be happy to return.

Dreadful. I thought I was entering a milk shake bar in the 1950’s. Terrible service, awful food. Poor quality. Not again

Arrived waited twenty minutes before service Ordered drinks and food together drinks arrived was told be a wait as two tables are in a busy (yeah 2 tables) ordered starters then a main Waited main came out had to send back as chicken burger and chips was stone cold not even 75c (min food under heat lamp) was stone cold went I explained to waitress she just laughed it off then asked where me starters was as still not here Was offered the garlic bread free of charge

Absolutely best steaks we have ever had ! Cooked perfectly, great staff and beautiful location just off the seafront, will definitely be back

went in for a cocktail and light lunch in what appeared to be a bright new bar? officious waitress sat us down and left. Managed to order a cocktail and get a menu. cocktail was weak and menu unexciting. Waitress still officious, so we left.
