Superb meal and service can thoroughly recommend

Shocking couldn’t organise a piss up in a burrey the glasses are dirty the knife’s and forks was dirty, the Sunday menu has no choice the chef come out of the kitchen shouting that their isn’t any fish and chips even tho no one had asked for it, the roast dinner come out cold had no veg no stuffing the parsnip that they call seasonal veg was burnt to the point you couldn’t eat it, definitely wouldn’t not recommend this establishment to anyone to the management who are in charge of this place you need to get your staff on the same page as to what they actually have to serve and the customer service is absolutely shocking this is the worse green king pub I have been too definitely will not be going back their

Great drinks and friendly staff - as always with Costa

Have visited the venue a couple of times now. It is really nicely laid out with comfy welcoming bar areas, a good restaurant space and very nice garden which as the weather was lovely and warm we took the opportunity to eat outside. The food we had which was a smoked salmon and beef rolls both of which were really tasty. The staff looked smart. They were very welcoming and friendly. They were very attentive to the customer without being intrusive. Will be happy to go there again so I strongly recommend folk visit the pub.

It's been a bit ropey for years, but reading the reviews I thought I'd check ok the Credit Card Situation and nothing has changed. Dismissive, rude staff as ever. "Bank transfer or cash only". Someone ought to put a call in to HMRC methinks...

Great venue for a christening , amazing food and a lovely staff . Went above and beyond to create the best menu and ambience. The new owner is doing a great job. It's definitely worth a stop there anytime.

This is a lovely place to drop into for a coffee and a snack on a nice day. When I visited there were only 2 tables which were not outside so not ideal in poor weather, but on a warm day it is very pleasant.Hot snacks were available but I couldn’t resist a lime flavoured chocolate chip cookie with my Cappuccino. An interesting combination which seemed to work.The deli and greengrocers within the same complex were a bit on the expensive side for me but ok if you like that kind of thing.

Myself and my mum visited the Golden Ball for our Christmas Day Dinner. The Food and service were Fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough to ensure you experience was perfect. I would Reccommend anyone to visit as you certainly wouldn't be disappointed. Thank you 😊

I phoned 4 days before Mothers Day to book a table for lunch for my son and myself but when we arrived everywhere was locked up and we were told that they had been closed for 3 months. I don't know who took the booking but I was disgusted at such treatment.

Ordered regular cod at lunchtime was perhaps big enough to feed a small child it was miniature, when confronted staff about size received rudeness from lady on fryer and others where not bothered extremely overpriced do not waste your money here

Great if you like lunch with a side of damage to your car suspension from giant potholes. There’s a reason so many cars park on the road. Turned round and left for the second time in a few months, won’t be trying again. Already slightly hacked off by often teeth breaking sourdough, lukewarm food, slow service, sour tasting coffee and the weird pizza offer.

Excellent food and service, lovely place to eat .. weather was good so sat outside in the beer garden… staff friendly and attentive and the food came out on time and was lovely… the surrounding village is lovely so it’s worth a trip to the country side too.. Cambridge not far away either if you fancy a bit of retail therapy!

An overpriced restaurant for mediocre food. Two kids burger meals(both burn't).No point complaining as there isn't anyone around except for the overworked guy on the till. Chicken ceasar salad arrived after everyone else had pretty much finished their meal.£14 for a mediocre chicken burger and chips.£12 for a chicken ceasar salad with hardly any content. Very poor, I would suggest eating anywhere else as there were so many issus with this meal.

Now known as the Bengal lounge Linton ,we had great food ,great service and value for money they couldnt do enough for us without would totally recommend Thankyou
