An overpriced restaurant for mediocre food. Two kids burger meals(both burn't).No point complaining as there isn't anyone around except for the overworked guy on the till. Chicken ceasar salad arrived after everyone else had pretty much finished their meal.£14 for a mediocre chicken burger and chips.£12 for a chicken ceasar salad with hardly any content. Very poor, I would suggest eating anywhere else as there were so many issus with this meal.

The 'Churchill' Burger. Seriously, DON'T bother. For the price charged, you'd expect a decent steak burger, not what seems to be the cheapest cash & carry burger money can buy, hidden in a brioche bun. I've had better, cheaper burgers from McDonalds and even from the local burger van. It was inedible and went in the bin. A shame, as the rest of my trip was excellent. Had to stop on the way home to find something actually worth eating. Seriously Duxford, this REALLY lets the whole place down, it's not hard to provide decent food at a decent price.

Such a fantastic museum. Been coming here years. But why can’t you sort the food out?? I’m no chef but I can bake a nice cake and not offer a bowl of Doritos, slap a dollop of sour cream and avocado and a tiny amount of barbecue pork and charge £13 for it. People want: Jacket potatoes with assorted fillings Pies Pasta Decent salads Chilli Decent cakes No wonder nobody’s in here and the staff look fed up😆

Having spent a super morning looking at the British Aircraft Collection the nearby Workshop Restaurant seemed ideally placed for lunch. What a disappointment; queued for twenty minutes just to order two sausage rolls although the queue was not particularly large. The gentleman on the till spent a lot of time on his phone whilst another staff member was constantly clearing tables that were long vacated and already empty. When a third staff member turned up to help much time was taken up instructing him how to use the till: all in all a shambles. The chef in the kitchen had his act together and once ordered the sausage rolls were produced pretty quickly although the quality of them certainly did not justify the long wait.

Last year, this was a good place to eat with good options. Not the same now. Limited expensive choice, I went for the chicken burger. Plenty prepared at the serving hatch. Mine was dry, overcooked and tepid. The bun was dry and not worth the money. Sausage roll was tasteless and Luke warm. Coffee very week and milky. Not given the gold vip discount either. To sum up, a waste of £24.00 and would not recommend this venue.

Utterly disgusted by our experience. When we arrived in the restaurant, we took a photograph of what appeared to be a very nice menu. What we didn't know at the time, was that barely any of it was available. We are a party of 5 and just wanted a sandwich, a snack and a drink for lunch, but apparently this wasn't convenient to them. There were plenty of baked goods. There were no ham and cheese sandwiches, a limited number of chicken and sweetcorn sandwiches and the ham sandwiches we chose as a replacement were out of date! The highlight of the meal (the only one!) was the sausage rolls, which were very nice. The other insult was the price! The whole meal cost £60 - we had fish and chips at another restaurant which cost us £39 for the 5 of us. Utterly ridiculous. Do not recommend. Choose literally anywhere else or bring a picnic.

By the time I wrote this review, the restaurant had closed for the day, and I believe this should be its permanent state. It ruined lunch on what was otherwise a fantastic day of experiencing modern military history. I had the 'Churchill burger' presumably because it was formed from the compacted meat of the popular insurance company mascot. Bring your own food and live without regret. My friend Dave agrees. The staff were very pleasant, it's not their fault the food was heinous.

The worst burger of my life. Even Mc Donald's is better than this! It's 14£ for a burger. They cooked the meat , prepared the burger, and then put it in the hoven to keep it warm : but like this the meat and the bread are completely overcooked, and you can use the burger to play bowling with it.

I opted for the "Churchill Burger" and a glass of Merlot. The cashless order was something of a trial due to poor reception at the venue. Most of the staff appeared to wish they were elsewhere. My meal consisted of a burger with 2 leathery meat patties and just a trace of "Monterey Jack" cheese. The salad was minimal, with a (very) modest portion of over-cooked French Fries. The wine was good, but I would recommend potential patrons to try "The Plough" in nearby Duxford village for a more satisfying meal and better value.

The manageress was called because there was an overcharge on the bill and I really wanted to ask her when she had fallen out of love with her career. Menu choice very limited, quality way below what I'd expect for the price. Soft drinks were just warm plastic bottles - only alcohol kept in the fridges. Staff menu knowledge non-existent - had to call the manager over to help with basic enquiries. Paid £11 for a shoddy chicken burger and chips. The chips were fine, but the chicken was just luke warm - obviously cooked hours earlier and left hanging around. Served in a cold bun, not even toasted. It wasn't disgusting but it wasn't particularly nice either, and not worth anything like the money charged. Won't go back, will take a packed lunch next time.

Bar food does not improve when unlike things are glommed together. The wings with pulled pork on top looked and tasted oily and unappetizing. The Mac and cheese held few noodles but those that did survive were then smothered by a wad of cheese carved directly from a 'fatberg.' But those items were nothing compared to the one menu item I really thought would be good - burnt ends. Thinking Kansas City? Was seated by staff at the back of the restaurant, which was freezing cold so we had to sit in our coats the entire time to stay warm. After a further 30 minutes our food had not arrived so we complained to the manager. She reassured us the food was coming and apologised but offered no immediate compensation for our loss of time at the museum, apart from advising we could have a full refund and instead visit the other cafe. This would have eaten up much more of our time at the museum so we opted to wait for the food we had already ordered. By the time our food came we had been in the restaurant for one hour. The only positive thing we can say is that, once it did arrive, the food itself was delicious.

This is a basic restaurant within a large visitor attraction. having said that, we enjoyed a very good cup of coffee here, and noted that it had quite a good selection of hot dishes on the menu. The staff were cheerful and helpful.

The place was a little run down but the food on the buffet looked nice.

My wife and I went to this lovely pub with our dog for dinner. We booked a table in the bar area which is a real cosy bar. Everyone in the bar and the bar staff were so friendly. We sat there for a couple of hours having a drink plus dinner. The food was great, especially the home made pie. We will definitely return.

Chose the Plough as it was a half-way meeting point between ourselves & our friends. Read positive reviews about Sunday lunch before booking & the reviews proved largely accurate. 3 of us had roasts & 1 had a burger. The roasts were great (even on a later sitting), all seemed fresh, meat was perfectly cooked, lovely big crispy yorkshire puddings & lots of gravy! Burger was good, but not outstanding. The wine list was fantastic & selection by the glass was vast (in comparison with most pubs). Team were really friendly (albeit a little forgetful at times that saw us waiting longer than you might expect for drinks & coffees). There was a nice atmosphere & I would definitely recommend & come back again. Thanks to all the team
