The best restaurants serving Default food in Orton with Hampton Peterborough East of England

It was OK. The latte was OK, just OK. The lemon muffin was quite nice if a little sweet but that is probably down to my tastes. The service was OK: I did arrive just after opening so it felt slow but I'll give them a bye on that. What wasn't OK was the price. I'm not averse to parting with money for something special, but this wasn't that special. Certainly it's too expensive to use more than occasionally.

Came for a nice family dinner last night, have been so many times before and had a good experience but this time was absolutely shocking! Our food took ages to come out, my food was fine however 2 of the 3 steaks were not cooked to the preference asked for. Took a while to get a waitresses attention to send the steak back that was well done and should've been med-rare and also my mum didnt get any roasted veg and my aunt didnt get any sweet potatoes as they should've done. After 10 mins of sending my aunts steak back the waitress comes back in a bit of a abrupt tone and says as there's half a steak eaten she can't replace it with a new 1 unless its the cheaper/smaller steak or she can give us a massive 5% discount off this £20 steak 😳 i thought this was ridiculous and if anything should've been 50% discount as they messed it up. In the end my aunt decided to keep the original steak as we were getting nowhere and a lot of attitude from the waitress. My mum and aunt complain to the manager and she was absolutely down right rude, it was disgusting behaviour. Basically said when we paid can we leave. My mum says oh don't worry we will and won't be coming back again and the manager chirps back with thats fine because we're closing down soon. Very appalling, made our experience very upsetting! They take your money then ring you to tell you they haven’t enough drivers and will be over a 2 hour wait. I suspect my order wasn’t worth it. Cancelled order and won’t get a refund for 4 to 4 days. Ridiculous service

Este pub ha recorrido un largo camino. Es un pub tradicional que hace algo de comida, pero no es el pub temático moderno que está “vestido hasta los nueve” y trata de ser todo para todos. Una buena selección de cervezas a precios razonables y un personal amable todo ayuda. El ambiente es positivo y tradicional y los dos chicos que dirigen el pub trabajan duro para mantenerlo limpio. Lo malo es no poder llevar a tu perro al pub ahora que ha llegado el otoño y la cadena ha dejado de vender cacahuetes, un buen vendedor entiendo. Sigue con el buen trabajo.

We used Starwok for the 1st time this week and we'll definitely be going back, great food and plenty of it, great service too, looking forward to our next visit, highly recommended

We booked a meal for a family of 6 and So disappointed with the kids menu, we ordered chicken nuggets meal for our granddaughter as she doesn't like the carvery we were expecting chips and beans with the nuggets. We were shocked to be served 4 chicken nuggets and veggie sticks for £5.99! Certainly not worth the money. That's a snack not a meal. No chips nothing else, when I asked Toby staff where's the chips they said we don't do chips. The carvery was awful, meat was chewy and veg hard. A Macdonald's meal would of been more satisfying. I won't be returning

An eating space with such potential going to waste because it seems to be run as if it were the 1970s. Today marks yet another attempt to give this place a go, but the sad truth seems to be if you want more than tea and cake after 14:00 (earlier on a Sunday) you won't really get hot food. The food itself is actually decent when you can get it, but unfortunately, like a tea room straight out of the 1970s, you can't get hot food because... well because. I can only assume the food hygiene rating is 6 as with at least 3 hours cleaning a day I would imagine the kitchen is spotless. There are many reasons a hungry soul would turn up at 14:45, looking for a decent late lunch. Mine is literally I don't drive and have limited bus access. I do admire the attitude this business has though. Limiting their profits so they don't have to cook food after 14:00 is arrogant but bold. Overall, for a place that held such allure and promise when opened, and is decent when you can get fed, I have to rate low for the lack of customer focus and sheer arrogance when challenged.

order was delivered a little early but it’s okay because i was hungry! Delivery driver was super nice, he knocked on the door as i forgot to mention which doorbell to press, delicious food as always :)

This is a great spot normally for a coffee and a doughnut. However, if you don’t like wasps stay away during the summer season, as the doughnut cabinet and shop were crawling with them. We had to go and sit outside and we also made sure to tell the staff why but they didn’t seem bothered. It would be a much more relaxing experience if something was done about this, as we will now be sticking to the KrispyKreme in Queensgate just down the road.
