Starbucks in Peterborough

I want to thank the staff for sending me a little note explaining why an item was missing, you're great ,thank you !

It's the drive through that I use. They are slow, no getting around it. They are slow to serve you, even when there is next to no one there! But if I can't be asked to get out of my car and use one of the none drive through places, I can't really complain. Oh and Starbucks is quite expensive for what it is.

Drinks were a bit cooler than expected but staff kindly brought drinks over to us rather than having to wait at counter for them

Whenever I visit this Starbucks I am always amazed by the professionalism and fantastic customer service offered by Julie. Simply the best.

Popped in here the other day ordered my drink at the drive through. Went round to pick it up and pay was informed that it was cash only, I explained that I only had cash on me. Was greeted with can't accept cash, I suggested that I gave the server the money and and they pay with their card. Then got the "can't take cash" routine, I asked what they suggested and got "can't take cash". I asked what they were going to do with the drink and they said they were going to put it in the bin, so that was that. I left and went to MacDonalds, I got my coffee and they got my money everyone was happy.

I’ve been to this Starbucks twice and ordered the same drink—a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino—both times. Somehow, they struggled to make it correctly on both occasions. If a simple order can’t be done right consistently, there’s no point in coming back. Disappointing experience.

The people were polite enough but was not happy waiting 25 minutes for my drink and watching all the people behind me get served first I had to ask were my order was got a pathetic apology

Met some work colleagues here for a project meeting, ideal central location for us and plenty of tables available. There is a time limit but you can obtain a permit by entering your vehicle reg.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service easy to work from with a laptop etc. I like the raised seating. Starbucks has generally gone 'down hill' but this one is good. Also easy to park

Food and drinks were all hot and as ordered, no spillages. All good!

Dont bother, place is awful. 20 mins wait for a latte and not even that busy. Cars show up in seconds get served immediately yet in person customers left to wait. Tables left dirty, no customer service or manners from staff rushed off their poor feet with headsets on. I dread to think the micro managing in their ears! No managers in sight. Won't bother to return!!!

They do NOT open at 6am on a Sunday 🤣 found that out the hard way this morning after leaving the location without a coffee this morning 😭

We went today for a quick coffee and a bite to eat, the service was such a let down. Not a hello, not a thank you or not even an ‘enjoy your coffee have a nice day’ from any of the staff. They ignored us when we took the coffee, sandwich and cake. Four people were in the service area, there was no excuse to have a coffee shop full of dirty tables full of cups and greasy chairs. The experience today was not enjoyable and would not go back or recommend!

I have been using this Starbucks for years as a Hampton local and never had any issues however I've noticed a decline in service quality over the past few weeks. The staff appear less attentive and often lack situational awareness, with some interactions seeming rather rude. There’s a total disregard for customers. Despite ordering through the mobile app to avoid issues with the tills (they’re often down and can’t take payment) I frequently experience long wait times—sometimes up to 15 minutes—and find that my order is not acknowledged or placed in the designated area. This inconsistency and lack of acknowledgment from staff, especially during peak times, detracts from a positive customer experience and needs to be addressed.

I received the wrong food, which had chilli in it. You need to be more careful as I get IBS which can cause severe stomach cramps. The food was also very expensive for what I received, so it definitely didn't feel like good value for money.

Had recently gone into store with my partner for two drinks thoughout the closing hour of the day, inwhich me and mainly my partner were treated with absolutely horrendous customer service, the blonde individual who made the drinks didnt even communicate, engage eye contact and worst of all gave my partner her drink in a disgusted, angry manner. This made my partner extremely upset considering how excited shes been all week for her favourite drink. What makes matters worse is the exemplary customer service they provided their friend following suit. Very disgusted by the customer service, which is a shame since the past anount of times, service has been great. Unlikely to return Many thanks

Ordered cappuccino requested in notes for sugar and chocolate powder but did not get this and it was not hot had to microwave

Met a friend here, but considering I could see 4 members of staff, only one was actually making drinks, one was doing the drive thru and 2 were doing absolutely nothing, that despite there being a huge queue waiting for their drinks to be made. Service was horrifically slow... drank my lukewarm coffee in 2 mins, my friend was still waiting for gers after 10 mins.

The staff are lovely but the drinks are over priced in my opinion. The atmosphere was a bit like a school dinner room, echoey and noisy.

A bit antiseptic, the food is overpriced for the quantity. The coffee is good but also anoys me that they don’t take money so if I have some change to spend I go to COSTA’s

The other day it was so so cold here you need to turn the air con down a bit was honestly freezing sat in and ate and wanted to hurry to get out of there.

The staff in this Starbucks are extremely rude, I’m not normally the one to speak negatively of hospitality staff however these people really need to take their attitude somewhere else. They give constant dirty looks and almost hate it when they have to make a drink and when you ask a question they roll their eyes and answer very rudely. They also sigh and make drinks with 0 effort. Starbucks really needs to look into their staff more and take these kind of reviews more seriously.

Starbucks is consistent with getting worse as time passes, costa is more consistent in a positive way.

Very busy, good for them. Struggle to get a table and very few plug points. Shame for a newish branch Also based on todays utterly miserable service I wont rush back. 'Good Morning ' is a nice greeting. But just saying 'yes?' is not. Guess which greeting I got.. Starbucks is better than this

Drinks are hit and miss sometimes, depending on the person working that day. There’s a funny guy who keeps such a strong eye contact it’s actually ridiculous 😂 always makes me laugh 😂

Pre orderd coffee to collect at 630am to get there at 630am and the place is closed when online they say open at 6am and have accepted my order and taken money

The employee working and serving us the drinks was truly the rudest woman i have ever met. After rolling her eyes and making a fuss over HER OWN mistakes, she finally gave us the drinks. You guys really need to sort your employees out as this customer service is tragic.

Great Location still just a wee bit pricey for me great for a couple without kids but for families with little ones a bit too pricey for the amount you get. Not really much for the little ones on offer either. Other than a nice quaint location.

The manager here needs to get the sack, shockingly bad service. . It is without doubt consistently the slowest place possibly in Europe to get a coffee. It’s not rocket science running a coffee shop but for some reason here they think it’s fine to always keep customers waiting 20mins for a flat white in the drive thru. I shall never return.

Be aware using driv thru in Hampton Peterborough as I use it every day and get a parking fine just driving in and out of driv thru, lucky I had proof on my ring bell as they said I was parked over night idiots

Nice enough, staff busy so not much interaction and lots of cobwebs around the place, as in it could be Halloween decorations.

Poor service stood around for five minutes, ignored by staff,when finally got served they got it wrong. Will not return

Breakfast sandwich arrived cold and the bread went hard from how long it had been since cooked probably. Coffee was like warm, disappointed.

My service was a little slow, I felt like I was put to the back of the queue. I am surprised by the dust and webs above the serving and seating area's.

One of the baristas there, Riley, is rude, and constantly belittles other staff members; in front of customers I might add! It’s disgusting behaviour and I’m not the only person to witness this. Riley is rude and is more concerned about rushing orders and thinking it’s okay to put others down, than treating fellow staff members and customers with respect and compassion.

My recent visit to Starbucks was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, it became evident that the management and hygiene were severely lacking. Firstly, I was appalled by the extreme unprofessionalism displayed by the manager, Reily. Their lack of interest in addressing customer needs was evident, as they seemed disinterested and indifferent during my attempt to communicate my concerns. It's disheartening to encounter such a dismissive attitude in a place that should prioritize customer satisfaction. Moreover, the long wait I experienced was frustrating. The inefficiency of the staff and the seemingly chaotic organization contributed to the unnecessarily prolonged waiting time. I understand that busy periods can be challenging, but it appeared that the management was ill-equipped to handle the situation effectively. The poor hygiene standards further added to the negative impression. The establishment looked unkempt, with unclean tables and floors, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. To my dismay, I noticed dead flies trapped in the window, which only served to reinforce my disappointment with the lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. Starbucks has always been synonymous with quality and exceptional service, but my recent encounter at this particular location was far from it. I hope that management takes these criticisms constructively and endeavors to improve their operations for the benefit of all customers. I regret that my experience fell far below my expectations, and I'm left with a lingering feeling of dissatisfaction. I hope that others will be spared from such a disheartening encounter in the future.

Customer service is weird as cashier barely speaks english, my wife couldn't understand a single word, Barista is rushing as if the world is coming to an end, coffee tastes like water, there is clearly more ice in it than coffee or milk and my pregnant wife clearly stated "no cream", now shes crying, never seen her so disappointed. Quantity over quality in this coffee shop, very sad, very lame on Starbucks owners, paying such a price for what, a brand? Choosing Costa next time for sure

How do you make an iced coffee with cream in the name and not put any cream or even milk in it???

Quiet, not too crowded, have discount for anyone working in the Cygnet Park, make sure you put your registration number on the tablet otherwise will get fined, free parking 2h.

AVOID! I’ve been a Starbucks customer for years and I definitely won’t be going back! I just went to the one in Hampton the 2 women got my order wrong i asked for a vanilla latte I got a normal when I asked for the coffee to be corrected she added 3 pumps of vanilla. The blonde European woman does not understand and keeps getting the order wrong I should have gone to costa!

Ordered a coffee at 09.30 - 5 minutes away from restaurant. Asked to be delivered in 30 minutes as me and my colleagues have a break at that time. Delivery time was changed for additional 30 minutes by just eat. Spent whole break by waiting outside and driver appeared only after I called restaurant to cancel my order. Will never order again.

Driver Bilal (sorry if spelling is wrong) unfortunately dropped the coffees on arrival, but he went ALL the way back to get new ones (presume at his own cost) and return within half hour. Absolutely awesome service, thank you so much! GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE OR SOME AORT OF RECOGNITION!!

Coffee weak… not to the usual Starbucks standard. Partners chai latte was also weak in flavour. Won’t be returning to this one unfortunately.

Yet another disappointing trip to Starbucks. Queueing for 15 minutes in the drive-thru to get to the end and have a incorrect order. Unfortunately this is a typical Starbucks. And more so at this one. Really does ruin my preferred choice for coffee

shockingly bad starbucks, been here before and drinks took like 30 mins. here today drink taste like gone off coffee with no flavour and when you pay 5.50£ for the extra syrups it’s a joke. worst starbucks around peterborough easily. barista was slagging us off as well saying “there coming around again” and “ i added the right stuff” like we couldn’t hear her. so rude and when we got to the drive through she shouted “ any allergens” without even a nice greeting. disgusting she should be sacked, no welcoming anything. defo won’t be coming here again id rather go to the many other starbucks around peterbrough with nice reviews, nice and welcoming service and decent drinks.

Double espresso wasn't good, no toilet facility available as it was broken, customer parking signs plastered everywhere, some chairs having unclean, dry and sticky coffee over them. It wasn't even busy. Is it too much to ask that they keep the place clean and tidy or just check the chairs and tables are wiped down for the next customer? Poor. Not what I would expect from this brand.

Staff were friendly and the cafe was clean. I had a breakfast meat free roll and it was lovely. The calories contained in an iced drink staggered me. Almost 300. So be mindful if that’s a concern.

Batista's clearly in need of training, shouldn't take half an hour to wait on one drink in a drive thru! Hygiene also poor, something black was floating in my milk drink! Definitely not repeating this experience!

Convenient spot with good parking and decent amount of seating, service always quick and friendly and correct everytime
