Ordered on the machines as that is the only way now. Ordered a take away and had to stand there for 15 minutes for a bacon bap. Probably took 20 seconds to make as the bacon is pre cooked. Food was okay but wait was ridiculous

Took an age for my breakfast items to arrive; I'd already finished my cappuccino. The poached eggs were overdone - yolk cooked solid, heresy - and the muffin bread was chewy; I could barely taste the sausage patty. And at over £13 not supermarket value. Disappointing.

Is a good place to grab a coffee and snack

Tesco Cafe: 25 mins to wait for 2 coffees using the self ordering. 20 mins after ordering I mentioned to a member of staff that we ordered coffee 20 mins ago. Curt reply, said busy, no apology or ticket check Won’t use again

Such a shame tesco cafe has gone down hill. Used to really enjoy the food but it's just got worse over time, one thing I do enjoy is the hot coffee's but that's about it. Today i had an iced cappuccino which was just disgusting. Had a katsu chicken wrap, absolutely minimal chicken and was totally dry and overdone. Chicken burger my partner had was average but not great. I wouldn't bother again, what a waste of £17.

Terrible meals food over cooked , burned not looking fresh too. Staff are nice , the area also looks nice just the food is very bad quality

Suprisingly pretty good. Been here 3 times before making a review to see what changes, but for a busy cafe, low staff and a big menu, its one of my favourite places to go in Peterborough for breakfast. Decent portion sizes, really fair priced, always seats, can't go wrong.

I was a bit dubious at first using the self service screens, but these actually work brilliantly! Lovely quiet area when we visited (3pm). Ordered bacon baps and thoroughly enjoyed them! Staff were really lovely, smiley. Place was clean. Really impressed with this place. Well done Tesco Cafe Hampton 👏👏

We ordered our drinks and it took over 15 minutes to get her and then the waitress didn’t know which one was decaf and then I asked for some hot water and she gave me a pot of tea

Thought we would pop in for lunch as we had never eaten there before and it does seem busy. Ordered one halloumi burger and chips £7.25, one chicken burger and chips £7.25, tea £1.90 and can of zero coke a whooping £1.95. Well, all I can say is whilst the food was tasty, it was diabolical portions for the prices paid. More crockery than food! We were still hungry and went home very disappointed. Place was kept clean but will not be returning again to eat.

Waited for almost 10 at the counter to get served, two staff on were run off there feet. Ordered our food only to wait another 20 minutes. Food well below standard, total disappointment. Food on the floor tables dirty. Not recommended..

All chicken is halal and staff are always maintaining the cleanliness by wiping tables and chairs down etc but there's just too many flies to relax

Dirty Tables. Also to be told at breakfast time no hot food as they had to many on order?? 9 people were waiting i counted. Also tables dirty and alot of flies buzzing around. Fly paper needed changing aswell!

Very good food at this store and value for money. Service great and cafe kept clean and tidy. The kids eat for free meal deal in summer holidays is a bonus.

Ignore bad reviews. Been here a few times since it moved inside Tesco - it’s good. Standard supermarket cafe - it’s never going to be a Michelin star experience. It’s clean, cheap, nice service, friendly staff, quick and tasty.

Staff are always friendly. Love the atmosphere here. Only thing is, I wish they had more Vegan options.

Dissapointly expensive, 1 25 for an extra rasher if bacon on a bacon butties that costs 3.50. (Was not informed this cost - was offered ) 2.50 for the smallest cake I've ever seen. 55p for cream on my hot chocolate- a free offer at most coffee places. Again not informed of cost, thank goodness I didn't have marshmallows !!!! All in all really disappointed. Shame on you tesco !

Came for breakfast with family and ot was great food and coffee and my son loved it so much he told few times that is a 5 star restaurant

Just been and tried the new cafe for the first time with my nan. Absolutely brilliant really enjoyed our time. Brilliant service friendly staff. Full recommendations. Got me to open my horizons and try some different food. Will definitely be coming back!

I go to this every weekend with my daughter and when we get to the till we are consistently told there is no hot food available, this is at around 2pm. Poor service for a cafe that used to be very efficient. We will now go elsewhere.

This used to be a fabulous place to stop and have breakfast or a coffee. Now it's no longer friendly, and quite frankly its dirty. Tables not cleared promptly despite having staff not busy and floor not swept. You can tell that they have recenty changed managers as the overall standards have suddenly lowered significantly.

Was told there was no hot food for a while so the kitchen can catch up with the orders. The seating area wasn't even that busy. Happily went across the way to Sub Xpress where they were happy to take my order for breakfast.

Elaine the lady who clears the tab les always appears so busy In the restaursnt please could you give her our thanks for her wonderful friendly service from the 2 ladies who visit every Saturday lunch with children.

Was there at 11.30 today qued up for 20mins to be told sorry we not taking anymore orders for cooked food I said well why you git all the boards in the isle saying what you have in cooked foods people in front of me and behind walked out to Subs the other side from this cafe much better food and choice avoid Tesco one treat customers like s__t

Stopped here for breakfast this morning and were very pleasantly surprised. The menu has been totally revamped and a great range of veggie and vegan options added. Husband had waffles with berries, yoghurt and granola, while I (eventually after much agonising) opted for eggs with crispy fried chorizo, smashed avocado on sourdough toast, rocket and chilli flakes. It was excellent; a five star hotel would have been proud to serve it. Will definitely be back soon for more! Lovely staff too. Highly recommended.

Disappointing service and quality of food

This café would not accept my order on Just Eat. Yet the money was still taken. No explanation given. Avoid 100%

Ordered and paid for food. Sat down, waited. Half an hour later asked where my food was. Had not given order to kitchen. "We'll do it now." they said. My response, "don't bother just give me my money back." which they did and I left.

Cheap meat for dogs!!! Breakfast roll for the price is ridiculous, coffe taste like water. First and the last time. Should have walked down to Costa.

I order breakfast today,the food was cold look like someone just was sick and send to me,call to manager Kate she was so rude arguing with me say to me that's what I was order and that was send to me.I'm in big shock.

Placed an order on just eat Waited over an hour then contacted tesco for the lady to be extremely rude and unhelpful I have since contacted just eat directly with the complaint and received a refund after cancelling the order. DON'T ORDER ON JUST EAT BECAUSE TESCO DON'T LIKE CONFIRMING ORDERS! TO BUSY SLEEPING!

Been waiting for 30 mins for my food, still not arrived, its not very busy.(6 tables) The staff member who seems to be doing more work is the one clearing tables, very efficient. But the. Still wsiting i have to be bavk at work soon. Mothing wad mentiined about length of time to wsit. I hope it worth the wait. I think they need lesons in

Waited over 15 minutes for my coffee to be brought to the table and over 45 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast. Not impressed

Had an appalling experience here yesterday. Called in the cafe at 1215 after meeting hubby out of work. The rotund guy (who never wears his name badge), I found out his name is Anthony, was extremely rude to us to the point that we left and walked out without ordering food or drinks. He told us food would be 3/4 hour wait, despite him not even asking us what we’d like, (I only wanted a panini!). He then blocked the gangway with 2 large ‘wet floor’ signs. He seriously should not be working in a customer facing role, downright rude and disrespectful.

Ordered an all day breakfast and was told 45 minute wait as ran out of bacon and sausage...visors wore lifted while serving customers..tables just wiped over and no proper cleaning done after customers left there tables..cappuccino was nice though ..but I'm afraid I won't go again...

Staff very very slow. We was waiting by the counter around 15min and no one came to us. So we just left.very disappointed

Awful food. Cold jacket potato. Bagged salad was not fresh! When I complained about it, he kept repeating it was fresh! Love! Short staff long queue. Avoid!!

The cafe itself was clean ish, but the staff weren't overly friendly. The guy serving the good was also handling the cash and the till but wasn't using gloves or washing his hand inbetween. So we ordered food he didn't to touch! He was grumpy, shouted orders at the kitchen and very slow.

Had the breakfast, service wasn't very good!! The food was plated then left on the side for eggs to be added, we got our drinks and paid then sat at the table, a guy brought food over but sadly it was tepid, we hadn't got alot of time and we were hungry so ate it and left! Would defo try a different food place next time we visit Hampton, would only use this cafe for a drink in future!

Not a bad cafe to eat. Clean and friendly. Though Anthony was too friendly telling us that the area manager was scared of him so he could run the place the way he likes. Thanks Anthony for the free extra egg, hope you area manager grows some.

Great value, but food quality has gone down hill. You get what you pay for and that's about it these days

Cheap breakfast but no comparison to others eg Morrisons / Wetherspoons

Decent price for decent food and drinks

Basic but nice. The food is good and the service is quick. There is a microwave for baby's food and milk and the seating will fairly well spread out

I am disgusted with this cafe as I went to enjoy my hot chocolate and there was a fly in it there was all so a fair few flys around the whole place I will never go there again gross

Love the coffee and the selection of food is very good too
