Wok & Eat in Peterborough

Would of given this a BIG FAT ZERO. terrible service. Told us we had given wrong address! Put phone down on us and charged us for no delivery and our food. Absolutely appalling service DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AND DEFINITELY NOT UBER EATS

Placed order via uber eats,,non delivery,,returned to store,,very abusive on phone,,taking to trading standards...please do not order from this appalling place

Every time I order from here, it is late but this time it was nearly 2 hours. I called after an hour and 20 minutes to be told it was due to leave the restaurant. The app said it was on its way. I shall not order from here again

I called the restaurant to see where the food was because the expected time had almost gone. The food arrived. The next morning all three of us including toddler had sore and running tummy up to today..

the food was not hot, the curry was oily, and smoked chicken was burned. the worst chinese meal we had ever. I have ordered at 4pm and the food arrived at 6.50pm . supposed to be a nice treat and was a family disappointment

did not receive our order, waiting 2 hours. communication is very poor, still unsure if arriving or not as can't get hold of the restaurant in the app they noted that the order was delivered. they are deceiving people, do not order from this restaurant.

Ordered a nearly £40 delivery food order. Payment taken, with delivery in just over an hour. No food or communication 3 hours later. No answer from calls made, just a recorded message saying they are on another call. Totally wrong and bad service at every level. Massive dissatisfaction

Valentines day so yes of course will be busy. Ordered over the phone not told of any delays. Payment taken. 2 hours later no delivery and cannot contact them ad now closed

Pre ordered at 4:30 because they've taken hours to arrive before so I thought it would be best because it's valentine's day. 2 hours and 45 mins later and it still hasn't arrived! I thought I would give them another chance because this has happened before but the food is good. I won't be ordering from them ever again! I'm 10 minutes down the road there's no excuse apart from there too tight to employ the right amount of delivery drivers!

Ordere food at 5:40PM, still waiting 2.5 hours later called the restaurant and been told that it's a pay day so them are busy and asked to wait for another 10 minutes, after 20minutes food still not here! ordered lots of times from there everything was okay. now i better order from another place!

Delivery was faster than I thought. Peking duck was inedible. Burnt all the way through. Sauce didn't taste right. Pancakes were hard. Did not eat it waste of money. When phoned was told that's how they cook the duck and to put the pancakes in the microwave. This place used to be good. But that was the last time I'll order from there. Disappointed.

Crispy beef should be renamed baggy tough beef, in nasty vinegary sauce, spicy fried rice had no spice at all, chicken tasted processed. Never again.

Food got delayed by 20 minutes and then was still 10 minutes late after the new delivery time was given. Food was cold when it arrived and very greasy tubs. Only good thing was the courier was polite and apologised for the delay.

Over 2 hours 20 minutes late, delivery time constantly changed. Phoned and was greeted by a rude, arrogant, female with an attitude. When food arrived it was cold. Not good enough

Delivered to wrong place a was overly late delivering aswel when I kept trying to call them for updates started ignoring my calls. Next day rubg again an was told the Manager would call me back ain’t heard from them since. The rice was very dry

We had a takeaway delivered to us from Wok&Eat and we really enjoyed it and will be using them again. They delivery time was pretty good considering it was a busy Saturday night and the food was still piping hot when it arrived. The delivery driver was very pleasant which was refreshing, as some delivery drivers are not. We had the chilli beef, special fried rice, special chow mein, chips, mixed veggies, spare ribs and sweet and sour chicken balls. All of the food was very nice and well presented, which again, some takeaway deliveries are not like this. I'd definitely recommend Wok&Eat.

Surprised by the bad reviews. Never had a bad take away from here yet. Delivery seems to be fast for us too. Although if you order online, it automatically changes the delivery time to 1 hour and half, you need to select ASAP to have it sooner. Love their chow mein and Smoked chicken. The only problem I have is ringing them. You never get an answer so can’t change your order or add to it once it’s done online.

This was amazing I will urge anyone who is thinking of a takeaway try these I had to write and congratulate what a wonderful food experience I’ve had for a long time we’ll done guys

The only reason i leave my 5-star review is ,in my opinion, the current google 2.7 rating is far below the quality of the food. Fully understand frustration, long delivery waiting time for other people, nevertheless 10 in 10 times the food is ready for collection in less than 10 minutes. It is always very tasty and never was disappointed with . People may get misled by delivery service only. Also, compared to ALL asians shitty Peterborough kebabs, the Wok and Eat is outstanding.

Ordered my food at 18:15 with a estimated delivery of 40-50 minutes it has just arrived at 20:00 absolutely shocking service food was okay but on Nearlly cold by the time it got here. They also said it was delivered 10 minutes before it was so they didn’t miss there delivery time that had changed multiple times during the Nearlly 2 hour wait. Not impressed at all

Ordered on Just Eat, waited two hours for food, was delivered completely wrong order none of which I could eat. Tried calling, as it was then 15 minutes before close to resolve the issue, but it appears no one could be bothered to pick up the phone. Will never order from here again. Strongly suggest prospective patrons look for an alternative vendor!

Normally this is our chosen place for Chinese food but tonight it wasnt even edible, my family are incredibly dissapionted by the food we received and we threw it away. the spring rolls were soggy, everything was cold, the black bean was basically water and the chips must have been from a month ago wish id have cooked them a meal instead. I've never been this disappointed by a take out before. Definitely need to find a new Chinese for my family!

We rang up and was told it was going to be 35 mins 55 mins later I rang over 40 mins and couldn’t get through. App showed it had been delivered when it hadn’t and then 20 mins later it showed up

If I had realised there were bad reviews I’d have taken a better picture before half of it was eaten. Singapore style noodles and beef with mushrooms. Make your own rice at home

DO NOT waste your time with the app, theres glitches and you end up remaking your order 4 times. I ended up ringing for delivery, made my order at 6:09pm i was told 30-45 minutes for delivery. I waited till 7:20pm then called them, i politely reminded i was waiting for my order and the girl on the phone was typically apologetic, and asked me for 5-10 minutes as the food was being packaged to be delivered. I live two roads away (dont judge, long day!) but i waited until 7:50pm then i got in my car and drove to the restaurant. The second i pulled up at the restaurant my Ring doorbell notified me and all the driver had to say was that its chinese new year and they're busy. There was absolutely no accountability or justifiable excuse. I went home and got my food, and its their saving grace that the food was piping hot and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately i was too irritated to be satisfied. Simple communication like calling a customer back to applogise for the wait, or a simple gesture like a free item of food etc would have changed things, but as todays society sees it, I'm just another person. 0 accountability, 0 customer care, and 0 for rectifying where they went wrong. Its a sad shame i wont be ordering from here again. And this isnt the first time they've been this bad, also their reviews shows its not just me too. A big shame

Rang the restaurant because half our order was missing, I spoke to the lady on the phone and she confirmed that they didn’t put my chicken curry, so when I asked if I could have it delivered she turned around and said no because it’s busy and they haven’t got any spare drivers. She then turned around and said that so is going to refuse to help us because they are so stressed out well I’m sorry if you can’t handle the heat GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!!! I've been eating from here for 4 years, and their food is fantastic. For almost a year now, when I order online and leave a message with ur order, no attention is taken. I hate eating tastless food, and every time I request it to be spicy, I get ignored. When u call to complain, all u get is we're sorry, yet it keeps repeating

Oder confirm 4.40. Time on app advised up to65mins. So approx del should have been 5.45 ish time advised after order confirm 5.50. - 6.10 I phone at 6.22 to be told 5-10 mins(6.32) away but arrived 6.45 and from the shop to me is 17mins.
