Very good Chinese food - prompt service as well.

The delivery was prompt, but the food quality fell short. The chips lacked sufficient sauce, and the chow mein showed signs of being cooked in a dirty pan with burnt residue on the chicken. While the crispy shredded beef was acceptable, the overall experience was marred by a pervasive lack of flavor throughout the dishes.

Ordered egg fried rice, beef in green pepper and black bean sauce and chicken in Szechuan spicy sauce. Egg fried rice and chicken were rubbish. I usually enjoy szechuan, but the chicken was so bad we had to throw out before it made us further nauseous. Overall 20 pounds was not worth it. Decent delivery and the beef was okay but I wouldn't exactly recommend this place to someone.

Food was really bad. Workers told me get out the shop for just asking the time.they all swore at me and gripped onto me n my nephew and said “get out or we will beat you up”. I’m scared to go back cuz they sent threats to me. NEVER GO HERE

Semi regular customers, food always amazing and arrives hot. Keep trying different menu items, and all have been delicious. Customer service was fantastic this evening when there was a small hiccough with the online ordering system - all sorted promptly and we were enjoying our dinner in no time!

Ordered just eat never arrived rang restaurant man was extremely rude and aggressive called us liars that our food was delivered. Went to restaurant to talk and saw a bloody rat in the kitchen under the cooker

Nice food even though a little bit expensive in my opinion... I ordered the "food box" to be given a plastic round bowl with a lid on with a little bit of rice, 3 chicken balls and a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce all mixed together... Not what I expected when you read the menu ... Also everything seems a £1 to £1.50 more expensive than where I normally order from .. It was fast service though and I didn't have to wait long for my order..

I really haven't experienced what others seemed to and glad I didn't read the reviews on here before we decided to use them, otherwise we would have missed out on an amazing takeaway. We regularly order here when we are at work and the food is amazing. It's hot and fresh, not greasy or stale. The staff are so amazing and friendly, they are really helpful and our food always arrives in great time. I really can't fault them at all. We order regularly and we all love it. I just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy them more and not just when I'm at work. Myself and my colleague will continue to use them as often as possible.

Wrong item delivered, called in to sort and the gentleman I spoke with called me a thief, suggested I was stealing and said he wouldn’t deliver to my address again! He was extremely verbally abusive and aggressive, wouldn’t order from there again, especially having young children. Would not want someone from their establishment turning up at my door. Highly upsetting experience, for someone that has ordered from them over many years.

We are ordered this at work and was very happy with the order. One of our colleagues said they had had some from there the night before and it was lovely and she was right. Will most definitely use again.

When you order 1/4 crispy duck there is the hope you will receive just that a 1/4 duck. Oh how to my surprise was it that I received enough duck to fill a table spoon the rest was fat and bone!!! The chicken balls tasted like they had been microwaved. When we spoke with them to complain as it’s not a cheap dinner and expected to receive food. I was told that it is what it is and that’s how they serve it and other places are cheaper. Before the manager got on the phone I was advised that I could have £5 off my next order and wouldn’t give me a refund!! The duck cost £9.70… knew I should have picked one up in Aldi for £4 something…. The manager is extremely rude, and to end the call he said and I quote.. “thank you for the advise, but we won’t give you a refund”. This was appalling and I would say to anyone don’t waste your money. There is a better one round the corner!! Oh they did give a free bag of cold spring rolls…. Maybe that was divert our attention away from the non existent duck!!! 🤣 Doesn’t deserve 1 star!!!!

Food arrived cold and stale We ordered crispy duck and the pancakes that came was stale. They was crunchy and not acceptable. We ordered chow mein and rice both came cold and the prawns was ice cold. This was not acceptable at all and a very disappointing experience

Very very dissapointed tonight with The golden dragon . Placed our order at 5.45 pm . Delivery estimated at 6.50 - 7.10 pm Rang the take away twice . I was informed at 7.50 pm our order was being cooked and would be another 30 mins . At 8.25 pm our order was cancelled by the restaurant ????????? We have supported you all year but I’m assuming as our order was only £20.80 p you chose to cancel us 2 1/2 hours after ????

Ordered food though just eat, was quoted 40-50 minutes 90 minutes later we phoned and wasn't even cooked. When we got the food it was awful we had 5 dishes one person said theirs was okay but for the rest of us it was disgusting. Never again, but what is the point of these reviews the places never seem to take any notice

Was told food would be 40minutes after an hour and a half called and simply asked if the order was in its way to be told to cook my own food next time!! I’m absolutely disgusted with the customer service!! Extremely rude!!

Had a problem with just eat delivery driver in our previous order. Owner came to us today to apologise. I really appreciate for coming all the way to our address just to apologise and listening to us. Thank you.

Used many many times over the years and always received the food prompt hot and delicious. Have tried many of the items on the menu and never disappoints. Excellent service & food

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give 0 stars I would. Disgraceful customer service. I came in to collect an order to be told I had to pay more than they quoted as I only had a card on me. I explained to the lady on the desk that no one told us that on the phone, and that I would have to see if my partner had cash in the car. Then a man came out from the kitchen shouting at me and pointing at their menu that it said cash on collection and being very rude in general. We never use their menu as have been ordering every other week for years. He was being very argumentative. I told him that I am a customer and that his attitude was disgusting, and how I explained that I would have to see if my partner had cash. Luckily she did as we were hungry, however wiill no longer be returning due to the disgraceful behaviour and attitude of the staff there. At least the lady had the decency to apologise as I came back in to pay.

Normally happy with the food and service until ordered on 08/01/21. Payed by card via phone for the order. Delivery driver charged us again at the door in cash. Phoned to explain what happened and told will have credit for next order. Went to order today and told no credit as no notes written down and can't prove anything. Good food, but not worth paying twice for and won't be ordering here again!

My wife and I ordered from Golden Dragon via JustEat. My wife has a medical condition which means she cannot have spicy food. She selected the Satay Chicken as this had NO chilli symbols. On arrival and first taste this dish was very spicy! I called the restaurant immediately and explained my concerns, only to be met with a very rude and defensive attitude, offering no apology or offer of alternative dish! I have ordered via JustEat many times and never had a problem with their food. This was an example of complete disregard for customer feedback and service. I will never order form Golden Dragon following our experience!!!

Chicken curry was rank and the ribs in syrup were chewy and all fat.

Very disappointed as I use this take away on a regular basis. As a local businessman i always recommend it to my customers. Came to place an order at 20.50pm an hour an 20 mins before the advertised closing time. The guy behind the counter on his phone just looked up an said "were closed!! No apology or explanation. Very very rude and very disappointed.

Wouldn't order from anywhere else, always delicious and unlike Shanghai Gardens I don't get constant plastic pieces in my food. 10/10 staff are amazing and delivery always in excellent time.

The best place in town for fast food

The best Chinese food I’ve ever had and we eat a lot of it from some expensive places, but this one is the freshest food ever. Delivery was fast, delivery man was very nice, food so fresh and massive portions. Very impressed

This takeaway provides superb food which is very well cooked. Very pleasant owner (and is from mainland China, so he knows his food!), very helpful. Prices are a little higher than others around, but very good quality. Thoroughly recommended.

The meal I collected contained disgusting, cheap meat substitute. I'm relieved that I'm not the only one that's had a bad experience with their food/service, as sometimes you question your own judgement but it's appalling that they're still in business. There are plenty of 1 star ratings here so we can't all be wrong!

This service was applaing! I called and couldn’t pay by cash because my nephew laughed on the phone so they classed it as a “dodgy order”! Called back to place the order again and the person on the phone swore at me.

Just spent £23 for food that was disgusting and when I rang to give feedback was told that next time you cook it yourself, never again!!!!

We ordered a delivery this evening. Food was very good and delivered within the delivery time stated.

Ordered via JustEat.co.uk on a Saturday evening. Was told delivery would be one hour, it was actually one and a half hours, meaning we were left very hungry. Food was nice enough, orange chicken maybe a bit too orange.

Ordered my food at 7pm 1hr and a half later I ring up to see where my food is and they say it's only just being cooked at 8:30pm. Will not be ordering from here again what a joke!

Your better off buying your starters from Iceland. They tried over charging me. Food was cold. Chicken Balls were burnt your better of Sticking to Shanghai Garden or New World
