Had a delivery tonight and need to share that this was awful! Dry chips, the chicken balls tasted of flour with the chicken dry. Nothing about this was impressive, no flavour, cold, dry and a waste of money! I rarely rate companies but feel I have to with how bad this is!

My order was plagued with issues, from missing items to an appalling level of customer service. To begin with, a significant portion of my order was inexplicably absent upon delivery. This not only left me hungry and dissatisfied but also raised questions about the restaurant's attention to detail and quality control. Furthermore, the customer service I encountered was far from satisfactory. The staff displayed a dismissive attitude, showing a lack of empathy or concern for the inconvenience caused by the missing items. It is disheartening to experience such apathy from a service-oriented establishment. The managerial response to my concerns was equally disappointing. There seemed to be a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, leaving me with the impression that my concerns were of little importance to the management. In conclusion, my experience with Wing Yip Chinese Takeaway was marred by missing food, rude customer service, and a general lack of concern from the management. I cannot recommend this establishment based on my unfortunate encounter and suggest potential patrons exercise caution when considering ordering from Wing Yip.

We always get our Chinese from another place but thought we would try wing yip for a change, food was was nice not like we usually get had crispy shredded beef and it tasted very vinegary and soggy very disappointed as I fancied a Chinese meal all day and to get something that u didn’t really enjoy was very disappointing

Unfortunately after eating from your restaurant I habe woken up this morning with the worst case of food poisoning I've experienced in my adult life. Poor channels of communication for when something like this happens. No way to contact you during the day time.

Best Chinese in Peterbrough hands down ! Always fresh and hot even when delivered. Can't fault these guys ! Strong recommendation from me !!

We have been using this Chinese for the last 3-4 years and never had a problem with the standard of the food and delivery the staff are always welcoming either you collect or have your order delivered top class thank you for our New Year delivery it was delicious

Food was great... but was delivered 45 mins later than promised, despite 2 phone calls saying it was on its way - and we're only 5 mins from the takeaway. The £10 cashback was welcome but didn't help the hungry family mood much. Have been very pleased in the past, but today awful service.

Food quality poor, prawns were terrible and sweet and sour chicken tasted like dishwater. Chicken balls with far too much batter and sweet and sour dipping sauce with too much corn flour as had turned to gelatine. Food quality would have to be much improved before I would purchase again.

Was all a reheated mess, the chicken balls were bland and soggy, the duck chow mein smelt "off" also not much duck.... The salt and pepper chicken was good tasted like the only thing that was freshly cooked but it was obvious the sweet and sour chicken balls had been microwaved. Very disappointing overall

Ordered sweat and sour chicken and chicken and pork fried rice. Both inedible. So tough.. I want a full refund.

Odered from here last night and have to say the worst chinese ive ever had... Took nearly an hour and half to arrive when was told 50mins.... Crispy chilli beef was soggy and covered in sweet and sour sauce.... Last time ill order from here

We received our home delivery order around 8:45pm only to find my main was missing. I called the restaurant and they told me there was nothing that could be done because they were closing in 5 minutes… despite the opening Time being until 10.30. On top of this the chips and chow mein tasted as though they had been reheated… the chow mein was supposed to be chicken chow mein but had hardly any chicken in it. Not happy at all, waste of money and calories. Do not recommend at all.

We had take away from here. The food smelled amazingly and it was hot and the prices were good too. But the taste was just good. Crispy chilli beef and sweet and sour chicken had similar taste but it is supposed to be 2 very different dishes. Overall was good.

We ordered a takeaway 06.2.2021 the online status said in progress 35 minutes, when we arrived to collect it, the food was warm - hot, we ordered chips and got egg rice, I checked the online status after we ate and it still said not ready for collection, this is not good and feel because we followed the online status this is why our food was not piping hot, why have the online track your order, if you don't keep it updated, very misleading!!!! The food was not enjoyable, plus we didn't get what we asked for which made it worse.

As always a fantastic meal. We always use this takeaway and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Food is excellent but they have let me down with delivery. Ordered at 1800hrs for delivery at 19.30. It is now 21.05 and it’s still not here. UPDATE- The driver was very apologetic when the food arrived and the food was very good. It is New Year’s Eve so guess they are just very busy. I will try them again in the future.

I am very disappointed.... last year I could not recommend these enough, unfortunately my last order was warm and later then expected, which I contacted them to explain, they offered 20% off, to which we used with tonight's order... 2 hours later the food arrives again warm! I have a sensitive stomach and if food is not piping hot this can cause me to have an upset stomach. Maybe if the guy on the phone was to explain to customers there will be a delay due to high demand so we expect this, instead we having been waiting about starving hungry, I can only assume the reason for the food being warm and not piping hot would be because their asking the same driver to deliver all the orders which is causing a massive delay. I will not be ordering from here again, and would not recommend based on the above.

The food portions are very good. The food is also very tasty and well presented. Whilst I am working in the area I am more than happy to be a regular here.

Not bad, huge selection in menu , portion are really large and average price for meals.

Sadly no sweet and sour sauce with sweet and sour chicken and we bought extra prawn crackers which we didn't get. Apart from that ok.

Wanted a Chinese takeaway but not too much. They have lots of choices for smaller meals for £8.50 A brilliant idea and great food too.

They keep changing the curry sauce each time I go one week it's proper nice but the next time I go it's just not the same as before
