Amazing tasty food. Ready in 15 minutes, piping hot Only thing i would say is not enough prawn crackers. For 2 people only 6 prawn crackers

We usually order from here and 9 times out of 10 the food is amazing and the prices are really good. We ordered tonight and the chow main was flavourless and greasy, the chicken balls and beef were ok but the chicken curry, I'm not even sure what we were served was chicken 🤢. And the curry sauce is not nice. Very disappointed tonight.

What incredible food! Our family has gone mad for Wing Yip Chinese takeaway food. It is absolutely delicious – everything we ordered was divine! We are hooked! New management, but same staff and same menu. What’s not to like? We love it!

The best chinese in Peterborough

I have been a regular customer since before the new owners came in, and i can say not much has changed i ordered from this Chinese on the 14/12/24 and the food was excellent it came hot and tasted good. Looking at some of these negative reviews make me laugh as it seems that it’s only obese men that are complaining and asking for refunds so that they can order another £70 pound worth of chinese to feed there 120KG stomachs🤣.It is evident that people are just taking advantage of this place, do better!

Been a loyal customer for 5 years... not any more. What I recieved at the weekend was not edible. Every dish with meat was SLIMY!! And the 'meat' was covered in this white jelly type substance. This place needs looking into. There's NO WAY what I was served was chicken. I ate a portion of the rice as i was hungry and I was sick and had stomach cramps for 2 days. Makes me believe the myths about chinese places and that they cook any animal because what I recieved was not any meat I've ever seen in my life. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!!!!!!

We have been loyal customers for 4 years, we ordered on 5th December for the food to be delivered at 7:10pm the food arrived at 7:50. The food was very hot but we were advised by the delivery lady that its been taken over and she was sorry. The food was not nice, the hoisin sauce was disgusting, the chilli chips were awful and the chicken balls were soggy. Unfortunately we won’t be ordering again 😔

Was my go to chinese but not any more. The food has dramatically gone down hill. No care to the food at all. Used to be so fresh and tasty now it's rubbery and reheated. Took 2 and half hours to arrive. And seems to be a different excuse everytime. So disappointed 😞 pleaseee do better wing yip

Hemos utilizado esta comida para llevar durante muchos años y nos ha encantado PERO no estoy seguro de si bajo nueva gestión, pero esta fue la peor experiencia de la historia. Solo cuando se dio orden se le dijo que solo toman efectivo. No había un aviso informando a los clientes de esto. Luego tuvimos que esperar en una sala de congelación por más de 20 minutos para la comida. ¡No hay calefacción en una noche de tormenta terrible! Una vez que estuvimos en casa y nos sentamos con nuestra comida tengo que decir que fue la comida MÁS SUAVE de la historia! El arroz frito con huevo era robusto y sin sabor y el chow mein era el mismo. ¡£ 27 en la papelera! ¡Nunca más!

Absolutamente horrenda experiencia. Hemos utilizado esta comida china para llevar durante varios años y siempre hemos estado satisfechos con la calidad de la comida. Aparentemente nuevos propietarios han tomado el lugar y qué diferencia! Verdaderamente la comida más asquerosa, grasienta y mal cocinada a la que hemos sido sometidos. Literalmente tiramos la mayoría porque no era comestible. Una mención especial tiene que ver con las costillas de cerdo de repuesto, que eran 60 por ciento grasa globby y la salsa de curry casi sólida que sería útil para colocar doble glaseado!

This place either has a new chef or they have changed owners as the food is very different. Not to my taste. Hot and ready to eat but disgusting. Thanks Gordon Ramsey

New owners appalling service We placed a large of for ourselves and friends and we preordered at the website for 7pm 🕖 well by 8pm nothing so we tried calling a dozen times and the number wasn’t answered so my partner drive to the shop and was told the delivery driver just left so should be there very soon, but no my partner got home and no take away, we called and called again but no one picked up the phone so an hour later we both went to the store and deal with a child that was on reception who was going back and forwards to the kitchen to pass on our complaint and eventually we where given a full refund, I have used this takeaway for years but the new owners have ruined it so we shall be going elsewhere.

Gutted. Online ordering no longer working and only accepting cash. Once my favourite takeaway but dishes are now very different, and not in a good way

Esto es solo una comida para llevar. Horrible comida, el pollo no se parecía ni sabía nada a pollo. La salsa estaba espesa y sombría. Llamamos para quejarnos y nos enviaron otro plato. Desafortunadamente no mucho mejor. La masa estaba mal cocida y pastosa. Lo encajoné y lo devolví. Esperando que no suframos de intoxicación alimentaria. La tienda está bajo nueva dirección , lamentablemente si siguen enviando comida como esta no durarán mucho.

We’ve been loyal customers here for about 8 years. The food has always been fantastic, with a lovely atmosphere, and we’ve never had a complaint – until now. On November 7th, we went to pick up our usual order of duck in plum sauce, salt and pepper fries, noodles, prawn toast, and a few other favorites. When we arrived, the doors were closed for nearly an hour, and we had to wait outside, knocking and calling multiple times before anyone let us in. Many customers which were waiting with us just left. Once opened They mentioned they hadn’t realized the doors were locked, which was surprising. Once we got the food home, the quality was shocking. The duck was burnt and tasted nothing like the usual plum sauce dish we know – we could barely recognize it. The salt and chili fries were undercooked and completely inedible, while the noodles were bland and unseasoned. We’re extremely disappointed, and unfortunately, this experience has ruined the trust we built over years. We might give them one more chance but It’s truly sad to see a place we used to love, fall so far from the standards that kept us loyal all these years.

Lovely food, 2nd time ordering. We had chicken balls, kung po chicken, plain chow mein, egg fried rice, mushroom fried rice. All yummy! Friendly delivery.

Wouldn't recommend!... Wasn't the worst I've had but definitely wouldn't get from here again, chicken curry wasn't fresh and had 100% been frozen previously but edible, chips were at least a day old, chicken balls were standard, chow mein and rice however were nice and had decent flavour

Ordered via just eat, delivery time kept on being put back, was delivered 45 mins later than stated. When the food arrived it was warm, and tasty. Potion sizes were good. Only thing that let it down was the delivery time, from ordering on just eat and delivery was over two hours!!

Had a delivery tonight and need to share that this was awful! Dry chips, the chicken balls tasted of flour with the chicken dry. Nothing about this was impressive, no flavour, cold, dry and a waste of money! I rarely rate companies but feel I have to with how bad this is!

Last time we ordered the food was excellent, this time it was below par, the kung p chicken had something added to it to bulk it out that was not edible. The rice was cold. Unfortunately will not be ordering again due to the big dip in quality

Loved the chicken balls and noodles. Rice was ok, but a little bit dry. Spring roll overcooked, just about edible. Slow delivery, but polite, friendly driver. Also free prawn crackers much appreciated. Would order from here again.

Crispy chicken balls were lovely, light and crispy, not at all doughy. House special fried rice was lovely - light and flavoursome. We were not ever so keen on the rice dish that came with Set Meal A tho - just personal taste preference I guess as it was full of beef and vegetables

We always get our Chinese from another place but thought we would try wing yip for a change, food was was nice not like we usually get had crispy shredded beef and it tasted very vinegary and soggy very disappointed as I fancied a Chinese meal all day and to get something that u didn’t really enjoy was very disappointing

Unfortunately after eating from your restaurant I habe woken up this morning with the worst case of food poisoning I've experienced in my adult life. Poor channels of communication for when something like this happens. No way to contact you during the day time.
