Hello, I am not usually a fan of chains of generic noodle bars/Asian restaurants but this is a little different and there are a couple of dishes on the menu that I enjoy. Firstly, do not order via the major delivery apps (there can be anywhere from a 33-50% markup on the price. If you would rather take the food away, you should order on the oodles website directly. We had such a kind and generous donation made by the Oodles Team in Peterborough. I work at a Primary School in Peterborough and for Chinese new year we were donated 36 value boxes with egg fried rice and noodles with around 8 chicken dishes, fortune cookies, chopsticks, spring rolls and chips. It was such a generous and kind donation and went above and beyond with all the allergies we have and being a nut free school. They were kind enough to give each student and staff a menu with a discount voucher. The children absolutely loved trying the food and said this was the best day ever and loved the food. Thank you so much Oodles Team.

Nice place and best Chinese in town

Hello, Ordered rice with chicken curry and crispy chicken, see the picture, 0 chicken, so I called the restaurant and said there were no chicken… sent the pictures, and the insisted they put 8 pieces with the chicken curry and 8 pieces for the crispy chicken… I insisted that there was no chicken at all and they hung up the phone, so rude…

Excellent food with big portions. It was freshly made. Service was brilliant from manager Muhammed Asad, he gave us food to taste before ordering. The udon noodles are especially good. The place is clean and hygienic- overall excellent experience.

Most tasteless Chinese I've ever had . Had high hopes when I visited here but turns out it was the most bland Chinese I've ever eaten , had sweet and sour chicken and caramel couldnt taste either of them no flavour whatsoever. Waited 25mins for my food and Also the portion size was terrible tons of rice piled to the top and probably 10 little bits of chicken with barely any sauce so not sure where all these pictures of people with tons in their box come from .

Delicious food and service will definitely be coming back. My partner really enjoyed his Kung-Po Chicken

Very very average food, chinese food should be quick, but we were waiting for more than 20 minutes. Vegetable noodles was very dry, Udon noodles smothered in sauce and must have been stir fried longer. Two toppings ?? there was barely any topping, the crispy veg was small pieces of carrot and cauliflower with no coating, the veg paneer was a joke. We binned almost all of the food. Only good thing about this place were the Spring rolls, smiling staff, the good ambience and spacious sitting area. Please work on the quality of the food.

This place was...AMAZING. You can choose many ingredients and they are all equally delicious. Also, it is not very expensive and even the smallest portion was enough to make my stomach satisfied. The food I ordered was seriously good and I don't think anything I had gotten tasted bad

Eaten here a few times now. Great food served quickly. I’ve tried a few different combos and have enjoyed them all. It’s clean inside if you’re eating in and the staff are friendly.

Waste of money,soggy egg fried rice dor some reason was wet like the noodles on top then had lots of sauce,the ratio noosled and chiken is just wrong not enough chiken

Chinese is one of my faves. Noodles tasted lovely but weren't hot enough. if you eat spicy food on regular basis (or if you are Indian, Bangali, Pakistani or Asian who loves spicy food) then you wouldn't find the food unbearably spicy. Also they have a variety options to choose from so I guess they have something for everyone. Worth to come any try. Also it's halal.

Food is always delicious and prices are very affordable. The spice is a good kick for someone who doesn’t eat a lot of spice. I enjoyed the crispy prawns, noodles and spicy chips.

Everything tastes so perfect. Oodles is my favorite place to order take-away or eat in.

Really really good noodles! Hot, spicy and a perfect meal. The portions are great sizes, although I couldn't finish it I would definitely visit again with friends and family. I recommend going as the staff are friendly and food is quick to serve, a nice place to sit in and eat as well.

The wait wasn't long, the food was delicious, nice and spacious area with pleasant music. Server was polite, my receipt say his name was Muhammed. Could be a little lower priced but not enough to knock down a star. Would come again

Best halal Chinese restaurant in town.

This is literally my favourite spot in Peterborough. The food is really tasty and the taste and flavour is consistent everytime. The staff are super friendly and it's always top notch service when we go. I tried almost the entire menu. If I dont order on uber eats then I stop by when i'm in town. My fave staff is Hamza hes lovely always so bubbly and friendly. I love spicy food but my husband likes no spice or heat at all, there is something for everyone there. If you're in Peterborough give this a try, you'll love it.

Have been eating asian food for over 30 years and this ranks with the worst. Bland/tasteless and how do you get egg fried rice so wrong ? The only thing that tasted remotely like it ‘should’ was the katsu. Sweet and sour chicken.. nope just blobs of chicken died red. Hot and spicey chicken.. nope just bland lumps. Szechuan beef.. nope, extra chewy strands of something. As for the ‘wok fried wings’ 😂😂😂 Never again.

Server was helpful with me making my choice. Food was fresh and was tasty. 4/5 for food as i have had better in places like this before. Atmosphere was sp quiet but I gave low as she there is option for cleanliness. There were plenty of staff and no customers to serve but the toilets were disgusting..so much so I couldn't use them.

Tasty food, excellent spicy chips and crispy chicken. Staff are very helpful and polite. Halal Chinese food. No dedicated parking as such as within the town centre. But can park in any of the nearby parkings. Easier to park behind park inn hotel

My favourite place to get vegetable spring rolls from! The team is super friendly and the service is always faultless :)

Went here with my seven year old today for takeaway. My son absolutely loved it, and the gentleman behind the counter made suggestions for him so he didn't pick anything too spicy. For a cheap takeaway for the two of us, it was convenient and tasty. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the friendly service.

Good location and decor but food leaves lots to wish for, undercooked rice, meagre chicken toppings, go buy german kebab next door instead or go to Chopstix past the cathedral, they serve proper noodles. Not these guys

My favourite halal Chinese food in Peterborough City.

Overly spiced, in my opinion, relatively good for the price. Takeaway grade noodles, good portion size. I like spicy food, but when the staff tell you "it's really hot' belive them!

Mediocre I would say. I ordered vegetable noodles, Malaysian chicken, crispy chicken & spring rolls. Spring rolls tasted nice and crispy but the noodles was somewhat bland. Malaysian chicken wasn’t the best and the crispy chicken was also mediocre.

Arrived at 2.15pm tans it’s fairly quiet. Placed order (2 reg meals) no problem and Lady on th till was friendly and helpful. Then had to wait 30 mins for me order to get to me, in that time only 3 other orders went through the till. Food was spot on when it got to me. Just why did it take 30 mins and no apology or offer of compensation ( ie a side )

Good food but not great. Spice levels were too low for my taste buds but was nice. Fried rice needs to be fried rice not just boiled riced.

I ordered a regular 'create your own' box for lunch with rice, black bean chicken and salt and pepper chicken. The food wasn't necessarily bad, but the rice was very wet and the whole meal was far too peppery. The black bean chicken was nothing like any black bean I'd ever had before, the sauce was red in colour and sweet. Usually black bean chicken is dark and intensely savoury/umami. Also barely any vegetables as well, I had one piece of pepper in the whole box. The food was warm and chicken nice enough but if you're after anything tasting authentically Chinese this isn't it. It's a very westernised version and at £6.95 per person for a regular it was nearly as much money as a main and rice meal from my local (much better) Chinese takeaway for a lot less food.

Food was disgusting and not cooked through. Microwaved chips - half raw. Asked for egg fried Rice and served wet boiled rice. With chewy stale chicken... Way to much spice, was supposed to be mild - what lies!

10/10 would munch again! Was so looking forward to this place opening and it did not disappoint

Food was very good. Just a note that when they say it's spicy it's really spicy. Didn't expect Kung poo chicken to be extremely spicy but it was.

Well recently i visited this place its really amazing and food taste really good . Also the environment is so refreshing and peacefull i really enjoyed my time neat and clear. Customer service is also friendly and helpful to choose menu. Nicely located in town.

I visit this resturant first time. Customer service lady guide me properly he explain about some dishes that was spicy for me then she suggest caramel chiken for me . Good place..the concept of cheaper option till 3 pm is nice....the large portion is really large and comes with a free drink if you purchase before 3pm... Small one is good as well.. although i don't like saucy options and too much curry makes base soggy quickly... I have no idea why this new food joint doesn't have any kids seat... it's difficult fot kids/toddlers to seat in normal chairs which are not helping the adults accompanying the kid..

Visited this new oodles with my family. Friendly and professional staff, patient and excellent customer service. My order was accurate and my food was hot and tasty, overall a great experience. Special mention to Mohammed who was extremely helpful with my order, because of this I will definitely be coming here again.

For something that should be quick and stir fried food. There seem to be a long wait each time I visit. Staff tend to just linger and stand by the food display trying to figure out very few orders and not doing anything else. Empty tables are left unsanitised. Management needs a massive improvement. 26mins wait for a stir fry is horrendous. Plenty of staff but still less productive. How can you justify this? The long wait really put you off visiting this place. I come here to eat, NOT to get starved from too much waiting. I asked for the manager and the staff just plainly said the manager is not in until later. What kind of business is this? Now you've lost another customer for good.

Taste was pretty good. Udon noodles a d the Kung Po chicken were classy. Only complaint was that the service was quite slow for a takeaway.

Ordered 43 pounds worth of food and most of it wasn't great at all. What a shame for my first and last visit. The food was extremely spicy even through it only had one chilly in front of the vegetable stir fry, imagine if it was 3 chillies! The prawns wow don't even bother to order as it just batter with prawn flavouring, what a disappointment. The sauce was way to much and the rice and noodles were so soggy as everything was mixed together :-( The caramel and salt/pepper chicken was just OK, deffo not as tasty and soft as your other big brand contender 100 feet away from your establishment, I now wish I ordered from there instead of trying the new thing! Workers seemed a bit dazzed, like they are there but they not sure they know they are there...

Absolute shambles, ordered our food and waited and waited and waited some more after 25mins decided to enquire where our food was and the guy didn’t have a clue, 3 times I told him our order number and yet he still couldn’t find it, a gentleman that came in after us demanded his money back and after getting nowhere we did the same. Fast food this place is not. Won’t bother returning.

If you want a quick lunch dont bother coming here. Ordered at 1:50 (so after main lunch rush) and had to wait half an hour for food. They have no process or system. Go to Chopstix, miles better in there Edit: Still didn't get my food, did the same as other customers and got a refund and walked out. Will not be returning
