Happy Valley in Peterborough

Waited an hour and a half for food to be delivered. Prawn/chicken balls and spring rolls were chewy from sweating in the bag and everything else was barely warm

Prawn curry had to go in the bin as it was loaded with so much salt it was inedible The chips had to go in the bin too as they were old and reheated and not fresh, naturally the fried rice was disappointing on its own…

food decent as always, portion sizes was smaller than usual and it cost me more,

The food was lukewarm the delivery time exceeded 35 minutes, another 5 minutes and the order would of been cancelled and a request for a refund would of been submitted.

Ordered 8.26pm, with a 50 minute wait time. It arrived at 10.43pm. We rang at 10 and they said it would be 5 more minutes. We rang again at 10.30 to say forget it but this shop had closed and no one answered.

Food is cold, restaurant ignored my call had to use a different phone number, order wrong.

The food is always spot on! Only complaint is it took 2 hours from ordering to be delivered , with 3 very hungry and excited boys waiting

Order placed 19:00 Delivery estimate was 20:10 to 20:30. Delivery arrived 21:25 - that's almost 2.5 hours!! Food was lukewarm.

The chicken in satay sauce was not cooked :( it was hard so had to throw the chicken away other than that the food is delicious

Normaly good service but when you order 18.50 use a just eat voucher of 10 pound and rest on card.accept take your voucher and card payment and then cancel order.very bad customer service

So I rang on the phone for my orders on Friday and was told it would be ready in half hour. Turn up still have to wait 15 minutes in lobby for food. Some of the ribs had little meat on them and found the food dry. Use to live local would probably avoid in future.

Ordered the food 17:55 it arrived at 20:40. We rang several times. They said they were just starting it at 19:15. Continued to wait, I rang again about 20:30. They put me on hold whilst they contacted the delivery driver , she told me the driver is having a break "because he felt weak". When he finally arrived the food was room temperature and we had to re-heat it. Won't be ordering there again

this is my go to chinese . can't fault it and love every dish I get. highly rate it

Nearly 2.5 hrs wait for an omelette and a rice dish mid-week isn't acceptable. Food was also lukewarm and needed reheating.

have used these guys loads of times.. always great service and food. unlike the happy Valley Walton where we mistakenly ordered from before.. that was not pleasant, bland greasy and would never order from again.

Order was incorrect and late. Contacted the restaurant and said they will correct order within 30 minutes. Correct order didn't arrive until 21:43.

I’m not one to complain but 35 minutes late and food cold never had a problem before but tonight’s wasn’t very nice at all

Everything was nice apart from the chips, I like them done crispy but when I got them this time they were just soggy

The food had no taste whatsoever and we as a family have been eating from this restaurant for over 25 years and we have never had anything bad to say only good things but £56 worth of food and not one person has anything good about tonight’s meal from happy valley Woodston

Apart from one wrong item delivered, rest of the food was good. Piping hot when delivered. Chips were terrible though.

Once apon a time Happy valley woodston was the best Chinese,now it is the worst.I have ordered from here this evening at 17:54 was told 1hr30-2hr wait okay cool fair enough I’ve been told so the 2hrs goes by I call and the woman on the phone says ‘they are just cooking it for you now will be another 20-30 minutes’ Like this actually takes the piss,the Walton Happy valley is even worse.

All the food cold and the restaurant wouldn’t even hear me out. The lady was very argumentative and rude. I lost my temper in the end and will never eat here again. Disgusting service. I had five people complaining that the food is cold but the lady wouldn’t do anything about it since the food has been opened. What a joke.

Chicken & noodle soup - really nice! Chips with salt & pepper tasted like normal chips, no peppers or anything else with them.

Delivered slightly late but restaurant gave me a complimentary can of coke which was thoughtful. Arrived nice & hot too. Very nice food & driver was pleasant

Food was ok but service extremely slow. We ordered about 6pm, at the time it said estimated delivery 18:55-19:15. At 19:20 no sign of them, they then updated ETA to 19:30. Still no food at 19:35, on the phone they said it had already been delivered, I can only assume to the wrong address somehow! Eventually our food arrived about 20:40, over two and a half hours since we ordered. Never again!

That was 10 mins late after already being delayed food was Luke warm at best not a satisfactory experience by far

The food arrived more or less on time, but I wasn't too happy with the delivery person. They rang my doorbell, which asks them to please wait as it may take me a minute to answer. I was already half down the hall when they rang the doorbell and by the time I got to the door they had left the food outside the door and they were nowhere to be seen. Anyone could have ordered the food and had it sent to my address and, if left on the doorstep, whoever ordered it could then have collected it from my door. I would have been left having paid for the food and not receiving it.

The chicken in the chicken curry wasn’t fresh as normal and wasn’t enjoyable, the ribs hardly had any meat to them and the best part of the meal was the egg fried rice and chips. Overall not great for the price. Seems to have gone downhill this order. Hope it’s different next time.

Fantastic food and very quick delivery

Usually pretty good from here, disappointing today. Just eat app notification that food was on the way was a long time before the delivery, I even had to call the restaurant to find out. Apparently driver was 5mins away, I believe our food hadn’t left until I called. It arrived at best warm - disappointing.

My delivery time came and went so I called the restaurant to find out what was happening. The person that answered the phone was extremely rude and said they had other customers to deal with and that I could just cancel the order. Don’t waste your time ordering as they are unreliable and rude!

Very disappointed with the food. Always use Happy Valley for delivery but recently the quality has diminished so I will be looking elsewhere. The entire meal was dry. Ribs were tiny, completely overcooked and burnt. Partial prawns used in sweet and sour balls. Sweet and sour sauce went down the sink as it was inedible - far too much vinegar. Won’t be buying from here again

Cannot blame for quality of food as in this city everything taste like nothing, good for party, always a lot of food for 26£,

This is the best Chinese we have tasted, I collect this on the way back from my parents (King's Lynn) and take it back to South Wales, stunning, everyone I have seen has been so friendly. Amazing service.

Hour and a half delivery on a Thursday evening. Time estimated was 45-60 minutes, ridiculous wait. Food arrived okay, luke warm.

Not actually sure why the reviews are so low. I’m guessing they are fake or people trying to ruin a business where the food is fine. I order here every week. The food is good, the order turns up. If it is ever running late just phone them and they are happy to help. The reviews they have is a really unfair reflection. Don’t hesitate to order from here. It’s good food

It was 40 minutes late and I didn’t receive any of the chicken balls , the sauce was open and the appetisers where cool would like a full refund please

Didn’t receive exactly what was ordered, ended up paying more for what we received but the food that came was nice. Good job we have no allergies.

Just over an hour for food. Also, the salt & pepper chicken is bland and no where near enough sauce on the noodles. It did taste ok tho. Nice delivery guy as well.

Knocked once and because we didn’t answer the door straight away due to sorting the dog from not running to the door it continuously banged on our door till we answered.
