2 hours for a Chinese? That’s ridiculous, on a Monday too.

Lovely fresh hot food. Very tasty. Will definitely be ordering from this Chinese again!

Have used on numerous occasions but tonight was very disappointing , chips were hard and dry and rice tasted more like boiled rice. Curry and chow mein both tasteless

Original order said 40mins to an hour but was over 30 late. The food was fantastic

been ordering from here for a while now, the food is amazing and consistent. there definitely the best in Peterborough. delivery is also always on time or early. will never order from another agian!

order was place almost 2 hours before it arrived, a shame as the food was good

Waited over 2 hours for delivery. Delivery driver couldn't find our house despite it being a normal numbered house on a normal street with good lighting. Took over 40 minutes to get someone to answer the phone and when they did, to be fair, they were helpful. However, 10% off my next order doesn't make up for the delay or the cold food. The rice was dry and the king prawn balls were awful tasting. Unfortunately we won't be back.

This was not salt and pepper chicken, just crispy bits with a bit of onion thrown in, not ordering again

Delivered 15 minutes early & the food was FANTASTIC!! Nice & hot on arrival. This is my favourite Chinese restaurant. 10/10

The sweet and sour sauce was really watery as though it’s been watered down and the chips were a waste of money as asked for them to be crispy and there was about 5 of them that were crispy, the rest were just soggy and were chucked in the bin. Overall very disappointed and probably won’t be ordering any time soon which is a shame as not had any issues until this order

I tried this Chinese which was advertised on Just Eat after trying three or four places prior. I've now received my second order from Happy Valley and I cannot fault it. The food I ordered has tasted delicious and I enjoyed every dish. Arrived before the time stated and piping hot. I am without a doubt going to continue using this Chinese and I highly recommend. The only negative thing I could say is that due to them handling the delivery you don't receive updates so its a case of being ready to answer the door between the stated times. Ie: put your can of beer down and come back in from sunbathing in the back garden haha! Great food and after a few attempts it's nice to finally find somewhere I want to order from again. Thank you Happy Valley I'm certainly a happy customer.

Order was placed with a 1 hour to an hour and 15 minute wait time, when the later time elapsed I was notified it had been delivered and enjoy. I called a couple of minutes later and was told he was on the way. 20 minutes later it was still 5 minutes away, it eventually turned up 10 minutes or so later. The take away is only 10 minutes away. The food, if it had been delivered on time I’m sure would have been better than what we had. I will not use again ☹️

Ordered food at 7:20 with a 40 minute to 1 hour delivery time… at 8:50 the order said it had been delivered so I rang them and said it is on way, be 10 mins…. Still waiting at 9:10pm!! Nearly 2 hrs later.

ordered from here before and never had a problem. This time however, the food was completely different, as if I ordered from a completely different place. The food was bland, there was no flavour or onions in the chow mein, the sweet and sour sauce tasted cheap, the chicken curry sauce the same, even the dry bbq ribs were tasteless. I don't know if they've changed their products or under new management but I've just wasted £34 on a meal my entire family disliked.

spicy is not spicy. Food was not bad. received way more vegetables than prawns

Completely wrong order delivered, no way to contact Happy valley at all. Left 9 phone calls yesterday each on just calling out, not happy at all. Money spent for something I never received, probably another family out there who was also upset as we the wrong orders delivered. ABYSMAL SERVICE !!!

phoned in advance to deliver earlier than we planned, pleasant delivery driver, excellent food. worth every penny. Always come to you for a Chinese.

Wait 1hr 30mins to be told they have attempted to deliver twice. My buzzer never rang. Then the girl says it's my fault because of an old number they couldn't call me on, despite not pressing the buzzer to say they were here. Highly doubt they even came. I had to go out to the road as he could find the door he had supposedly been to before. Food cold. Shouldn't have given them another chance, should have stuck with China fountain, much better service.

Just what you'd expect from a Chinese meal. No complaints here.

Waited an hour and a half for food to be delivered. Prawn/chicken balls and spring rolls were chewy from sweating in the bag and everything else was barely warm

Prawn curry had to go in the bin as it was loaded with so much salt it was inedible The chips had to go in the bin too as they were old and reheated and not fresh, naturally the fried rice was disappointing on its own…

The food was lukewarm the delivery time exceeded 35 minutes, another 5 minutes and the order would of been cancelled and a request for a refund would of been submitted.

Ordered 8.26pm, with a 50 minute wait time. It arrived at 10.43pm. We rang at 10 and they said it would be 5 more minutes. We rang again at 10.30 to say forget it but this shop had closed and no one answered.

Food is cold, restaurant ignored my call had to use a different phone number, order wrong.

The chicken in satay sauce was not cooked :( it was hard so had to throw the chicken away other than that the food is delicious

Order placed 19:00 Delivery estimate was 20:10 to 20:30. Delivery arrived 21:25 - that's almost 2.5 hours!! Food was lukewarm.

Normaly good service but when you order 18.50 use a just eat voucher of 10 pound and rest on card.accept take your voucher and card payment and then cancel order.very bad customer service

So I rang on the phone for my orders on Friday and was told it would be ready in half hour. Turn up still have to wait 15 minutes in lobby for food. Some of the ribs had little meat on them and found the food dry. Use to live local would probably avoid in future.

Ordered the food 17:55 it arrived at 20:40. We rang several times. They said they were just starting it at 19:15. Continued to wait, I rang again about 20:30. They put me on hold whilst they contacted the delivery driver , she told me the driver is having a break "because he felt weak". When he finally arrived the food was room temperature and we had to re-heat it. Won't be ordering there again

Nearly 2.5 hrs wait for an omelette and a rice dish mid-week isn't acceptable. Food was also lukewarm and needed reheating.

have used these guys loads of times.. always great service and food. unlike the happy Valley Walton where we mistakenly ordered from before.. that was not pleasant, bland greasy and would never order from again.

Order was incorrect and late. Contacted the restaurant and said they will correct order within 30 minutes. Correct order didn't arrive until 21:43.
