Me and my family have had Breakfast/Dinner here many times and it's always been first class. The service, food, cleanliness etc has always been great. The staff couldn't be more helpful. :-)

Typical Frankie and Bennies, but this one feels a little bit better than others we have visited. Very welcoming staff and a large seating area. Food very good and toilets spotless.

Arrived today on a busy bank holiday lunchtime. Had 5 minute wait for a table of 6. Very friendly staff. Food arrived very quickly despite how busy it was. Been to many F&B’s before with slow service despite it being half empty - not here...

Good food, not that cheap but quite large portions. Restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Will return.

This is a good place for a great value breakfast. Excellent food., cooked to order and plenty of choice. I've given four stars instead of five as there are problems with the heating and it was a bit chilly.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed it here! We ordered off the set menu which was affordable and still extremely generous with portion sizes. There’s also a lot of variety on this menu so I do recommend it! Our waiter, we think, was new and...

We came for a family meal today and were served by a very polite young man called Liam. He was very attentive and made our visit lovely.

We came for breakfast on a Friday morning. Our server was Liam and I can’t rate him high enough. He was attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the coffee perfect. My only complaint is that we needed bigger cups!!

2:25pm and still waiting for our lunch. Shockingly slow service have been told it’s cooking heard waitress say all tickets are coming it’s just busy! There should be more staff during busy times!!!!!!

Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my partner and my sister. We all chose from the set menu, which offers 2 courses for £9.95. We really enjoyed all the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant and we also felt that our waitress, Beata was particularly attentive, caring and professional. She really took her time to serve us properly and we appreciated her efforts. A lovely couple of hours.

What is there to say really firstly the starters were not very hot but as we were all hungry we ate anyway and ignored then he mains came out and were stone cold, not an exaggeration it was freezing to touch. Just as they all were. Secondly, I had previously lost a gallon to the cirling and one member of staff refused to get and when we asked again 5 mins later than man completely blanked blanked my nan multiple times. If you ask me I find that extremely rude and inappropriate. Thirdly when we got up and left because we were appalled, a female waitress gave me a very dirty look which for me was the tip of the iceberg.

Popped in on a very busy night but were seated quickly. Wasn’t a long wait for food at all. Food was delicious but the best part of our meal with the member of staff called Liam who was in charge of our table. He’s keep checking if everything was ok and asking if we needed anything else. Very pleasant young man :)

Been tonight for a meal, arrived at 18:25 and told there was a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine so we had a drink at the bar.15 minutes later we were shown to our table.Shortly after I ordered a second drink. Unfortunately the menu is completely wrong (according to our server), and three of the drinks we wanted they didn’t have on their “lines”. If that’s the case, then cross them out so your customers know when they are choosing - first crap experience.It then took 1 hour before we were given our meals. A second server brought our side of garlic bread as that had been missed by the first. We chased up our order as the server couldn’t be bothered to let his tables know that there was a delay, and I informed him that if it wasn’t at the table within 10 minutes we were walking.The pizza I ordered was swimming in sauce and was horrible, which I pointed out when the second server came to take our plates. Put quite simply, having to wait 1 hour for your meal is completely unacceptable, especially when you’re not given any updates on a delay of any sort. We had our bill cleared and did not have to pay for our meal, however this does not encourage me whatsoever to return to F & B Boongate, and I will not recommend anyone to eat there after this experience.

Myself and my partner went for a meal at the Boongate, Peterborough Frankie and Bennys today. Our waitress named Leah was extremely polite and accommodating and it seemed this kind of service deserved a great review. The food was also great and reached our table within good time.

Often visit this Frankie and Benny's. 10 out of 10 to Liam the waiter who was so attentive. Fish & chips were a bit disappointing but will return

Well, there are plenty of this type of restaurant around serving very similar food. Given that is the case it leaves one to have to judge a place on other aspects such as service, cleanliness etc.

We didn’t eat here but were turned away in the pouring rain with a 9 week old baby. There were clearly tables when we arrived but we were told there were none and we’d have to wait and we’d have to wait longer if we had a buggy which was wheels and car seat so no bigger than a high chair. The person at the door took one look at the child in my arms (as running in with her was quicker than putting in seat in rain) With nowhere for us to sit and wait with two older children and a baby for god knows how long even though there were clearly tables, we left in the pouring rain. Our youngest is a very chilled out baby who barely cries and had to be fed and changed in the car park before leaving to find somewhere else to eat.

Have to say I was very happy with my experience. Did some shopping with the family and had one of their lighter bites for lunch. Liam, one of the staff was excellent and attentive. I am really leaving this review on the back of how memorable he was. Was at another similar place earlier this week and I felt like the service with very slow. Food was hot and tasty for the lunch time price.

Have just visited this evening with a group of 13. The food was ok...Would have been poor value for money if we didn't use vouchers. The restaurant was very cold and we ate with our coats on. Apparently the heating had broken but we weren't called ahead of our booking time to be advised of this. The manager had a bit of a chip on her shoulder and wasn't helpful, advising we need to Google how to make a formal complaint! Not going to visit here again.

Tried to locate and hope this is the one I was taken to by a friend closest to Yaxley. I won’t go to a Frankie & Bennies again. The staff friendly but food awful. Cold Mushroom Brusshito starter. Warm not hot fresh but over cooked sat on counter double bacon burger where cheese not melted well, streaky soggy bacon and rock hard charcoal beef burger. Avoiding this chain. MacDonalds far better.

We came here for a meal before we went to the cinema using Meerkat Meals where it’s 2 for 1 on starter main and dessert. We enjoyed our meal and the service was great. The waiter who looked after us was very welcoming and friendly! He was a blonde haired young boy, slim! Very good waiter! I feel that if you do not have the voucher then it is quite expensive!

Very nice chicken and ribs meal. A little bit too long for meal to arrive as it wasn’t very busy. I used an insider card from showcase cinemas to get 25% off my food bill. Without this I would say it’s just too expensive at £20 for what I got. Drinks expensive as usual in most places. I would recommend a visit but make sure you get a discount of some kind.

We had pre-booked a table for 20 people for breakfast. Overall the food we received was good. There was a bit of a mix up with the order but this was soon rectified and as a result we were offered a discount of the bill. My only real complaint was the cup of tea. I do not understand why it has to be served with luke warm water and the teabag on the side. Everyone knows that tea has to be made with boiling water poured straight onto the teabag, don't they? Unfortunately this seems to be the way it is served in most restaurants these days.

....Since we went, it is what it is - a volume, retail park restaurant - with vouchers from App its always good value.

Me and My Wife went here for a meal and the food was lovely and the service was excellent very friendly staff. This is a great place to eat after visiting the cinema as we did or if your doing some shopping. Nearby.

After going to the cinema called in and there was no problem with not having a table booked, staff soon arranged one for us. Service was good and our waitress Beata was excellent.

Ate here tonight and ordered sirloin steak. Asked for it to be cooked medium, tasted like it had be cooked for 5 years. Came with 2 of the smallest cold onion rings I’ve ever seen. Chips were cold, no mushrooms as stated on the menu and apparently worth £17...terrible! Do not eat here!

Had a nice lunch with my partner. The food was good although the portion for me was too big as I have ordered 2 courses, a starter and a main. Our server Liam was attentive although we had to wait for the bill for a while but we were not in a hurry so it was all good.

Liam at boongate last night gave amazing service, he was very friendly and welcoming. He not only gave quick and thorough service, but he was such a laugh. I would return for just his service!

Went for lunch here today 22nd October, lovely meal, 2 courses for £9.99 what a bargain. Absolutely lovely food and our waiter Antony was really polite and the service was extremely prompt even though the restaurant was busy, What a pleasant place to eat.

Very fast service, in and out within an hour, delicious, well cooked food. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

I have been to this restaurant twice in the past couple of months and the food has been ok, it's not great but we'll presented and the restaurant is spotless. We were served both times by a lovely guy called Liam, he's great, very chatty, attentive and friendly, you have a gem there Frankies! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

We’ve been here before and didn’t particularly enjoy it. However we were in the area and with our 20month granddaughter, and we knew this place was child friendly so we thought we would give it another go. We arrived early for midday, and were seated and served very quickly. As I expected the food was very average, however we felt comfortable as there were many families there so when our granddaughter was loud and messy it felt ok. I would only visit this place if I was eating with children TBH.

Fabulous and attentive service from an exceptional and charming young man called Liam, if you did take always I’d take him home for sure!, oh and the food was good as always !

Starter not available, staff not sure on free refills for drinks said no top ups on main menu or lunchtime menu... so when are they avaible?

Dropped in for a late afternoon lunch with my husband. It was my first visit to a Frankie and Benny's restaurant.

I am disappointed they have taken sliders of their menu because I loved those little burgers and they filled me up nicely. And they took off the lamb shank :(. But in general, I love f&b; restaurants but this particular one isn't the best sometimes. The attitude of some servers isn't the most energetic and sometimes the food isn't to it's best quality. I've eaten in f&b; Leicester square in London and the Nottingham branch and they're amazing! Soooooo tasty But this particular one can be hit and miss. I come here mainly because of the vouchers and deals they offer. If they didn't off it, I wouldn't come to this particular one because it's quite far to get to as no buses (so have to taxi) nd service can be very slow. I've waited 30 mins once for my bill, was not impressed had to get up and ask for my bill and walked out. I know it can be a quiet restaurant but having 2 servers sometimes when there are so many tables isn't great.

2 staff on tryimgg there best chefs not so busy but still sending out average food...my bruchetta sorrybif i spelt that wrong,toast burned not enought filling on it either..tasted so bland and the tiniest bit of pesto sent that back..expensive coffee served in the smallest cup went in 2 gulps..my stake i asked for medium well.done came ,blood all on the plate so that got sent back also...was so thirsty but didnt want to pay oit my butt for another coffee either.

Never really been a fan of F&B;’s as always leave feeling like I’ve paid too much and only had mediocre service and food.

Considering only two waiting staff they were very efficient. Restaurant very busy at lunch time. My meal of ribs was OK but husband had sirloin steak. It was awful, very tough. For the price charged should have been brilliant. Complained at end of meal. We were on time restraint so knew he had no choice but to eat it or go without food. Will not be visiting Frankie and Bennies again.

As with any restaurant, it depends largely on what you can afford/prepare/cook at home as to how you rate an eat-out experience. Can’t help feeling that the food offer at Frankie & Benny’s is a little below par with competitors, decently presented but just not inspiring. On this occasion the steak was like shoe leather so was replaced with something else free of charge but the server was exceptionally courteous so this didn’t cause any kind of issue. Overall it was just an average meal in average surroundings for an average price. Average.

Spur of the moment visit which we really wish we hadn’t of bothered.

Brilliant staff. Fantastic food. Always a pleasure coming in to the Boongate branch. I’m a regular and always treated like a VIP!

I’ve given f&b; many chances now and iv finally learnt my lesson that they just aren’t that good. The food isn’t very good, often comes cold especially chips. Probably worst of all is wait time, the bill especially, most likely due to not enough staff, it’s always extremely busy.

Not visited this F&B;'s in a while, read some poor reviews but our experience was nothing of the sort. Waited 5 mins for a table but I would say that's good on a weekend evening. Staff were very attentive, had the same server throughout who was very good. Looking around all staff were on the ball. The main course came out pretty quick, piping hot and very tasty. The desserts we waited a little long but definitely worth the wait.

We currently have a visitor from the USA staying with us for a while and I decided to take him to the Boongate Frankie and Benny's. The main reason for this is that it is a themed restaurant and I thoiught he might feel a little at home by coming here. I personally have never been in to a Frankie and Bennys before so this was an adventure for me too. We visited on a Wednesday and were greeted and swiftly shown to a table. We were presented with two menus, a full menu and a smaller green menu with daytime offerings inside. I opted for the green menu and chose the mushrooms in a cream and cheese sauce with toasted Ciabatta. My daughter and her visitor opted for items from the main menu. I also ordered a cup of tea for me and a coffee and fizzy drink for the other guests. When the starter arrived I was warned to be careful because the bowl was red hot-and it was, with the contents bubbling away quite nicely. I have to say that I really enjoyed the starter but the Ciabatta could have done with a few more seconds under the grill, as one side of each slice was a little soft leaning towards soggy. Daughter and her visitor said how nice their Calamari and the dough balls were.

I like Frankie & Benny’s as a chain and most of them are good, however I would never go to this one ever again. There service was slow and all round bad, as well as the food being cold. I had to send my starter back due to the fact I thought a foreign object within my sour cream, which was disgusting and that it was cold. I had no apology from anybody about this and then they bought out my starter the same time they had bought out my main, this for me is also horrendous. The amount I paid certainly wasn’t worth the service nor the food.

We had been to an open evening and decided to go last minute. We were greeted fine and shown to a table fairly quickly. That's where the good service stopped.We gave our order and the drinks arrived, so far, so good. The food arrived approximately 3-4 minutes after that so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that the food was clearly sat somewhere keeping warm. I did exclaim surprise to the waiter and he just laughed.

We went to Frankie & Benny's because my daughter loves them. It is noticeable that they have had a small makeover. The table formats are a little different, the menus are different and they have finally found another CD to put in the music player.

The food served here is good - In my opinion, it is rather expensive for what you get. The staff are helpful and polite but, it did take quite a long time to receive the bill.

Ordered a large pizza to share. When it arrived I had to send it back as it had very little cheese on it. By very little I mean basically none as all you could see was tomato and base. It came back a few minutes later with a small sprinkle of cheese added and then over done after being put back in the oven. Last time I'm visiting this one in boongate as they just don't care and it's clear from all the negative reviews.

Visited here for a work meeting and was impressed with the speed of service considering we only had 45mins before needing to return to the office. The only complaint was the food arrived before the drinks. Friendly service, tasty pasta dishes is a little pricey for the type of food and menu looks a bit more child oriented. Would probably return if I was not paying the bill.

My husband had an email advertising "unlimited breakfast" here, we were stuck around the boongate area while the car was at the garage so thought we would give it a try. A little disappointed to find out it wasnt actually unlimited, you had to order a breakfast, then if you ate all that you could have the same one again. Would be much better if you could just choose from a list what you wanted really! Anyway, breakfast arrived, beans were cold, mushrooms were cold. Tomato was black on top but raw inside. We asked for some brown sauce, waiter brought a little basket of condiments, tomato sauce, vinegar, tabasco and mayo-no brown sauce! On the plus side the cup of tea was really nice. I won't be coming here again, had a bad experience once before and now again, I've given up on this place! The one at Hampton is much better!

We turned up here for lunch and were not disappointed. 5 adults and 2 children catered for like royalty! The staff were friendly and highly professional especially Gary - one of the managers. A great guy who is a huge asset to the brand. He knew everything about everything on the menu and helped with the kids meals and drinks making sure they had as much of a good time as the adults!

On arrival half the restaurant was empty but we were told there was a wait if 10-15 minutes while the manager found out what was going on as she had just arrived. No One offered us a drink and a staff member who was eating his tea at the bar had an awful attitude as several people were waiting for tables and obviously disturbing his meal.

We booked for four o'clock on Boxing Day and found ourselves eating from the main menu instead of the festive menu. Not a problem! The food was good, as was the service. We were using the tastecard so very good value for money. No complaints, we will be back soon. Well done staff!

Popped in after going to the nearby cinema. The restaurant was not surprisingly very busy but managed to get a table for two within ten minutes. Considering how busy it was the order was taken quickly and the food and drink arrived pretty quickly too. I had the steak and fries and it was spot on and very good value for money. Had a voucher for 33% off the food too, so two mains with drinks came to less than £30. Staff were friendly, polite and engaging. A good experience all in all.

Had booked a table for myself and some friends to eat here as location wise it was very convenient being just a mere 5 minute walk(if that) from the cinema.. I thought I would give the place a second chance as for years me and my late husband would regularly dine here, however during our last few visits the efficient and friendly service we had began to expecy were not met and when we voiced this with the lady in charge she seemed to not care or take our comments on board whatsoever. So quite rightly I was very sceptical of bringing friends here. Upon arrival we were greeted by an older gentleman with grey hair who I assume is the manager. He took time to engage in conversation with us whilst we waited for a table to become available for us. We were shown to our table and within two minutes we were approached by a waiter called Gary offering us drinks. Throughout the evening he was very attentive but not intrusive. We were unsure on what to have and the young man sat down with us and went into detail of the drinks on offer. All 3 of us opted for a mocktail each and within a matter of minutes the waiter returned with our drinks. We then ordered our food, I went for a Margherita pizza from the set menu. We also ordered our choice of desserts with him at the same time as it seemed very good value for money at under £10 for two courses. After 10/15 minutes our food arrived and was hot and tasty. Our plates were cleared soon after we had finished, desserts arrived and again were delicious. I am so glad to have given this restaurant a second chance as I can see how drastically it has improved.

I'm usually an F&B;'s fan. I've eaten in the chain all over the UK and I have to say how dissatisfied I was with my recent breakfast at the Peterborough branch. Yes I complained and yes I received a refund, however, people should be warned if you're expecting the normal freshly cooked, piping hot, tasty breakfast that sets you up for the day.......go elsewhere!

Just had a loaded meat feast calazone the worse one I have ever had supposed to be full of meat opened it up as the bulge was approx 4cm x12 cm all the rest just the wrap which is approx 30 cm one meatball sliced 4 little chunks of chicken and 8 slices of pepperarmi the rest was sweet corn so disappointing fo a few pence off 13 pounds left still hungry went to McDonald's over the road for a top up advise against this place

Arrived showed to table waited 20 minutes to have drinks order taken. Husband asked and then waitress came took the drinks order and food order.

The place looked busy so we thought about going somewhere else however we were told we would be seated in 15 minutes and food would be quick. Well after a reminder from me about the wait we finally got seated almost an hour later by which time we had 45 mins before we had to leave. Guess what another 15 mins for someone to even ask a question as to would we get food in time. The answer was no we wouldn't get anything in time. So a wasted Saturday evening waiting and leaving hungry. Thanks for ruining one of my few nights I get to have with my wife.

My boyfriend and myself visited frankie and Benny's boongate on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. However, we then waited around 10-15 minutes to order drinks, we didn't mind however and just enjoyed conversation.

Served cold chicken that was returned. Cost of food removed from Bill and told we just had to pay for drinks that should have been 9.90 yet billed 13.90??? Staff had a heated discussion in Polish in front of the open kitchen area..fortunately I do know some Polish swear words..not pleasant. Husbands Calzone was Ok, the fries were nice. The ribs horrid and fatty. The replacement chicken was horrible. A spoiled date night. The restaurant was quiet at 9.30 so I would hate to think what the food would be like if it was busy.

We had booked a table online, on arrival we were asked to wait at the bar so we went to try and get a drink but no chance as too many people.

Had a great meal with my team here. Plenty of parking. We were served drinks quickly and found a large table for the seven of us. We all had different meals and all arrived in fifteen minutes correctly. Meals were not overly large and not cheap but good quality. As we were a group of seven we were given a food discount to encourage us to return. Waitress was friendly. Back of the receipt had a money off voucher for next time. I will definitely be bringing my team back here soon.

we went as a group of 8 and they could not seat us even though half of the tables were not being used we had a baby and a handicapped person and 2 elderly people in the group, 4 of us had to go to another restaurant ,would not recommend going there spoilt our day

Visited in August 2017. Didi not book, just turned up. Got seated straight away with menu's. Not that busy. Drinks came in a good time. No draught bitter ! Great selection on the menu and we also had a money off voucher which helped. Food was first class for a chain of restaurants. Service was no trouble. Had mains and sweet. Paid the bill and left. Plenty of parking. All was good.

Arrived to find the restaurant only about 25% full, so plenty of free tables, after waiting about 15mins to be shown to a table, after being completed ignored by the waitresses & waiter, I inquired if we could go a table, but was told we would have to wait to be seated and the wait was 20-25mins as they were busy at the bar! Needless to say we were not prepared to stand for that amount of time, so went across the road to Bella Italia, where the Customer service was much more professional.

Don't think I have ever eaten at such a bad restaurant in all my life.

Why did l let someone persuade me to eat here? Very noisy, cramped seating, slow service. Fish batter was soggy, peas cold and fries nothing special.

You know what you're going to get and Frankie & Benny's and the Peterborough branch was no exception. The food is good and plentiful but probably all portion controlled. A pleasant enough experience.

Cada vez que voy a un F&ser;á siempre he disfrutado, la comida es increíble, el servicio es de primera y el ambiente aún mejor. Me encanta las fotos familiares alrededor de las paredes y la música de blues/jazz clásico en el fondo. Todo el lugar decente, lo recomiendo!

Pedí un enrollado de pollo que entró en dos mitades comimos par bocados de primera mitad y sin pollo. Abierto tanto corporales y una miga de unos pero no de pollo en el enrollado de pollo. Era ding con otra que tenía cajún y nuevo enrollado de pollo pollo dentro de envoltura no sólo un montón de ensaladas. Marido había pizza, que estaba poco hecha a la masa punto estaba descuidada. Servicio lento pero la camarera educado. Tenía una fuente partícipe para empezar. No aros de cebolla cocida y pan de ajo ni cálidos. Comida horrible no volver

Visitamos el desayuno con un amigo y el restaurante parecía cerrado a primera vista. . . Entramos y nos recibió un amable señorita que nos enseñó una mesa. . . El menú de desayuno es el normal, puedes ver en ningún otro sitio, pero caro, para decir lo menos. . . 2 desayunos y 2 cafés y 16 libras más tarde fue terminado. . . Todavía hambriento como porciones pequeñas pero de calidad regular y bien cocinado y caliente. . .

Visited for a late breakfast on a Tuesday. Very busy but we still received good service and great food.

The service is the worst I have experienced in a long time. We waited 20 minutes to order, then we waited 40 minutes for a milkshake. We complained to our waitress when leaving but she didn't seem to care and didn't apologise. Avoid!!

Had a meal here with some friends. Two of us ordered a bacon and cheese burger. The burger patty was like dog food. It was jelly-like, you would find better quality meat at McDonalds. We were extremely disappointed, considering they were £13.00 each!

Always worry when a restaurant which serves fresh food brings a meal to you quicker than McDonalds can

Don't bother with this place! Expensive...poor service...poor food...avoid this place. Worst meal we had in ages...complained and they did not seem bothered at all! Response was..nobody else has complained today!

Had dinner one evening and I had the best garlic bread ever! Also breakfast and was very good and decent price! Recommended
