Good place. But queues are so long

Must have been my invisible day. Stood on my own, at the counter waiting to be served......for 5mins Three separate people walk in and were served immediately !!! Sullen staff. Bland Chai lattes, filthy tables outside. First and last time.!!!!!

We love coming here, the upstairs is a great place to chill out and watch the world go by. We used to come here for breakfast. The staff are ever so helpful. Free cake for your birthday if you are registered on the app. Extra stamp for bringing your own cup. 9 stamps for a free drink. Currently you can get a drink for just 400 Nectar points.

Absolutely disappointed👎 To get into the toilet you need to ask the staff for the door code, after several attempts you still couldn’t get inside, it’s absolutely unclear whether there is anyone inside or not We spent money there to end up using the toilets at Queensgate👎👎👎

We dropped in for a hot drink as it was cold. You can bring your dog in. The drinks were good and the staff friendly . you can use your go compare discount .

Great coffee as expected. Pleasant staff and speedy service. Plenty of seating with more upstairs if required. It has a nice atmosphere with pleasing lighting, not too bright and not too dim. Keep a hold of your receipt, it has the code to the toilet!

Good atmosphere. The place could do with better decor and a redesign of some seating. The seating and area could be cleaner. It is not the fault of the staff, it is on the customers who do ruin it sometimes.

Standard Caffè Nero. Love the Lemon muffins. Not too busy when we visited on a Saturday. Unisex toilet is fairly small.

Can't say anything bad about Caffè Nero as I've never had a bad experience here. I only have a cappuccino but it's always very nice and I found the staff here to be very helpful and polite.

Best hot chocolate with great service and reminds me of cafes in Italy when at the counter. So much better than Starbucks.

Café Nero is my favourite place for coffee and breakfast in Britain. The coffee is much better than that of other café chains (Starbuck's, Costa), and I also often eat some of their sandwiches or paninis for breakfast. It ain't cheap, but the quality is good. The size of different branches varies quite a bit, the one in Peterborough next to Cathedral Square is relatively small, but offers a few tables on the outside, too. Staff are generally very friendly and competent. Went there almost every morning during my trip to the city.

I love and prefer this Coffee chain to others but, this morning having a Caffe Latte(Oat milk) was unsatisfactory! Previous staff (Ladies) were faster with taking orders from customers when the cue was more than three customers deep(there was five customers in the cue!). The long spoon I was given was 'bitty' and dirty aswell as the cup my coffee was put into. This is very obvious due to the dish-washer not being cleaned properly and cutlery and crockery not being raised after going through the dishwasher. I know this because I've worked in catering. It's VERY OBVIOUS that the cup isn't cleaned properly by just touching, the cup handle doesn't feel like a clean glazed cup but a DRIED dry water film coating covering it. Not good enough at all Caffè Nero 👎🏿

I always love visiting Cafe Nero ,best coffee around ,value for money and relaxed atmosphere. However !! I was surprised and shocked at the dirty toilets,not nice. I'm guessing they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. It really let them down this visit ,shame..

Caffe Nero is in the city centre of Peterborough and a really nice little coffee shop. I queued up to purchase my drink and there was a bit of a queue but you could see that staff were working hard to get people served so I did not mind too much unlike other coffee outlets (I won't name names). The store was clean and there was a member of staff regularly going around clearing away tables and cleaning them. There is seating downstairs and plenty more seating upstairs as well which is quite spacious. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and I was very impressed.

Sorry to say I was totally shocked how dirty this place was. Seemed not to have been cleaned in days and there were even cobwebs on the food/drink fridge. And don't get me started on the Toilets!

The staff are awesome at this Caffe Nero and one of the main reasons why customers return time after time including me; are always friendly and efficient; they also know how to make an awesome grown-up coffee.

Good service, pastries and cakes are good but a little pricy

Just terrible. Dark and dingy it’s in need of a huge update. Made a thousand times worse by the lack of staff with only one member on it took 11 minutes for me to move 4 people in the queue. I abandoned and went to the gorgeous costa opposite with plenty of staff and light and airy.

We have been there many times. Previously was alright, but this time it was so disappointing. There were only 2 people behind the bar. One of them was a trainee so couldn't do any coffees. It took me about 15-20 mins to wait for them to make 6 drinks until I was able to order ours. I can get that it was only 1 barista but during a busy day they should have had at least 2 of them. Also the tables, chairs, sofas, floor, windows, literally everything was dirty. In conclusion I think that after the pandemic this place is not at all as good as it used to be before.

Right near the cathedral, just off the market Square. It's not a bad location, but for a regular black coffee and a panini at nearly £7, it's pricey like most chains. Nice interior, not too busy. Clean.

I was ordering at the till when the only staff, a tall girl with dark and very bright pink hair, rude, left to talk to a young woman who was seated with her friends. The woman was taking pictures of the frames on the wall. It was 7h30 in the morning. Week day. The place was dirty with food on the floor. The waitress shouted "you can't take pictures in here, it's not allowed". The woman had her mask on and asked why she couldn't as she does it for Instagram and never had any trouble here in doing so. The waitress had no mask and went closer and said something like : I work here, I don't know why you talk back to me! You work here? No! I do! They should have said (the other members of staff) to you you can't take pictures in here!". The young woman then went back to her friends. I finally had my coffee when the waitress shouted over the till, to the young woman who was minding her own business "yeah yeah you can talk about it as much as you like if you're not happy you can go elsewhere!" That was so rude! People who came in by that time all saw this. Shame on her. I will never go back again when that member of staff serves. Ever. I have to mention that the young woman customer was black. I hope it has nothing to do with it but its worth mentioning.

No queue when I entered. Efficient service. Polite staff. Nice drinks. Its a narrow shape shop. It has window high seats. Bench seats facing the wall.

I really love the raspberry lemonade drink and Mango smoothie They also do the best hot chocolate with whipped cream and their caramel latte with cream is a real treat! I do find their coffee a touch bitter without flavours

Not been to this branch before but it was lovely, swift service, great drinks and pastries. Found a clean, empty table and it was comfortable for a quick 20 minute break. There was a busy vibe about the place and staff kept busy. Enjoyable

It's hit or miss. Sometimes you have opportunity to chill out on the upstairs listening nice jazz/casual music but sometimes... You hear loud loughs like from some kind of 11pm Friday's pub or screams of the childrens. Coffee is good tho

Efficient service, And good to see a staff member diplomatically challenging a non-face-mask wearing customer at the till, as well as insisting on track and trace registration.

We have been to Nero's for coffee over many years but... this afternoon at 3oclock every outside table was dirty. In these covid times no one came outside to clear or sanitised. One group ate their krispies creme do nuts while a group of the bame community shook hands all round the group of 6. The social distancing was nil as all the chairs had been re arranged to form a large group. And not all were drinking the bought food. How are we expected to remain safe with balant failure to follow guidelines set out by government

I’ve been drinking out ever since I’ve learnt what coffee tastes like and I love this place. The baristas in this locations are especially great and are always super friendly. I’ve been going for the last few years and don’t see myself stopping !

A lovely flat white (with a heart ♥️😉). Nice big comfy chairs to relax with friends. A lovely selection of cakes but decided to be ‘good’ today, maybe next time...There are 2 floors so plenty of room on busy days and from the upstairs windows you have a great view of the High Street.

Could do with less saturated fat and salt in the paninis and sarnis.tables need clearing quicker.

We visited on a busy day and this was a pretty normal Caffe Nero. The coffee and food was good and there was plentiful space with upstairs seating as well as the seats on the ground floor inside and out. If you like Nero, visit if not………….

Tucked away almost discreetly, just shy from being immediately opposite the Queensgate Centre, this gem of a coffee shop offers both more charm and a more relaxed experience than the outlet of the other major chain located at street level in said shopping centre. It's less busy too and has proper, comfortable seating (armchairs). Lower lighting level and the typical Nero long, narrow layout affords a more intimate drinking/dining experience than most of the other chains. A great way in which to obtain one's daily dose of caffeine and snacks.

CDalled in here for coffee for a change to my usual coffee haunt. Not much to say rweally, it sells coffee. The staff were uninterested, the place looked old and unkempt. That's not to say it wasn't clean, it just looked tired. I'm not a great fan of Nero coffee, not really to my taste but try it for yourself, you may like it.

Need to put handle on the toliots door. Very difficult to open if you are disabled
