Bella Italia in Peterborough

We went to Bella Italia as a family of 5 on Sunday and the service was fantastic. Mark was incredible, he couldn't do enough for us and was extremely attentive ensuring the kids were quickly smiling again after a glass of water was spilt and a crayon snapped. Highly recommend, thank you for making it a wonderful family meal out Mark ❤️

Food is good .. but how do you ask £15 for a Cheeseburger??!! Atmosphere is acceptable. Service is good. Clean & tidy.

Tuvimos una gran familia reunirse allí esta noche. No podíamos culpar al personal. Mark, y Colleen fue increíble lleno de energía y pasión.

Traje a mi hija para una cena de cumpleaños con 6 de sus amigos esta noche. Honestamente se lo pasaron de maravilla. Todo el personal era tan encantador y acogedor, haciendo todo lo posible para interactuar de una manera divertida y fresca! La comida era fantástica relación calidad-precio con las chicas pidiendo una comida para niños grandes cada uno. El personal hizo que mi hija se sintiera especial con una interpretación de cumpleaños y una vela en su postre! Muy recomendable y muchas gracias 😊

Mi esposa y yo fuimos llevados al Bella Italia para celebrar mi retiro por mi hija y su novio. Una vez más, la comida era fantástica y tuvimos la suerte de ser servidos de nuevo por uno de los mejores servidores frente a la casa que he conocido. Mark es muy gracioso con sus comentarios ingeniosos e hizo nuestra velada mejor de lo que esperábamos que fuera. Definitivamente volveré

Nuestra primera visita a este lugar para celebrar nuestro nieto Jakobs 16 cumpleaños nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y nuestro servidor Mark era muy bueno la interacción que tuvimos con él era de primera clase e hizo la noche muy agradable. La comida era muy buena una mesa llena de platos vacíos, recomendaría este restaurante a cualquiera.

Our first visit to this place. We went as a family to celebrate our Grandson Jakobs 16th birthday. The food was very good clean plates from everyone, our server Mark was very good made us feel welcome and the interaction we had was spot on a great laugh he made the evening real nice. Would recommend

Been a few times recently and really wanted to comment on how good the experience has been. Massive thank you to Mark and Jack. Mark is always ridiculously positive and welcoming everytime. He truly makes you feel like you are visiting a friend for dinner. Jack, cheers for thinking ahead and offering an additional plate for my young girls so they could share and let the food cool down. It seems rare now a days to get good customer service but you smash it today. Cheers

Samuel was very tolerant, patient and prompt, although young he seemed very professional. Mark was very funny and made the atmosphere amazing.

Huge thank you to Steph and her lovely team. Came in with my mother in law who has a disability and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Moving furniture for the wheelchair, making sure she was comfortable and had a cup that was easy to drink from. Not only was it excellent service but also immense kindness. Food was delicious too.

As usual the staff were welcoming and friendly - this is my restaurant of choice when in Peterborough on business each month. The people make it.

Had a bad experience here as the pasta wasn’t cooked properly. We gave it another chance, came back, and even asked to make sure the pasta was well cooked. It was the exact same. Sent it back and it came out the same yet again! Ok, they can’t cook pasta, so we asked for something else and the manager was surprisingly rude, acting like we were just being difficult. Would not come back here! An Italian place should at least be able to make an edible pasta dish!!

This is the worst take away I have ever ordered. The food was dry and tasteless, overpriced, they even forgot to add chips to my order, had to call for a refund not even an attempt to give a voucher ( not that I would go back to use! ) Supermarket pizzas are 10x better than what they serve here. Pizza, pasta and dessert tasted like store bought frozen foodI will not be ordering anything else from here ever!

Great place to eat. Host amazing funny and makes you feel welcome and thr food is lovely.

Manage to get here after trying the day before with the kids and regardless of the fact that it was empty and we were about an hr early for the kids deal when we sat down i brought up that we were looking to get the kids deal they denied us the offer so we left. The next day came in, and it was during the kids eat free time we sat down and i was curious, so i asked if both kids would eat for free. Their reply was no only one. (No love for the single dad's here) To keep it short Food wasn't that great for the value The salad's portion was quite daunting The chef managed to make our kiddie a butter penne pasta to substitute one of the offerings. Good portion of pasta on that dish. Probably wont be showing up again. The single dad thing left a bad taste.

Huge thanks to Mark and Coleen! This Bella Italia restaurant is a fave of my two children and our visit this evening did not disappoint. Mark welcomed us all with such a warmth and great energy. He is fun, he engaged with all members of our party (although my daughter wasn’t so quick to pick up on his jokes) and I thought his ‘Happy Birthday’ vocals were not so bad! Coleen looked after us very well and also had a lovely energy and great customer focus. Never felt rushed, felt very relaxed and Mark & Coleen made sure to highlight various offers that were available. These two members of the restaurant team turned our ‘grabbing tea out for ease after a long day’ into a very enjoyable evening and looked after us like we were the only ones there! I also observed them treating all other customers with the same respect, and care. It got busier as the evening went on and I was pleased to see this. We were all pleased with our food choices, all arrived hot, all were enjoyed and nothing more we could ask for. Thank you chef. Mark and Coleen we will definitely be back and thank you for how well you looked after us and for the laughter!

The waiter and waitresses were extremely good and made us feel very welcome and valued customers - they are a credit to the restaurant. The Formaggio pizza and Gamberoni pasta tasted wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Same again last night. Great meal with an amazing set of waiters keeping all the children entertained and working hard.

The food was quick and mostly good. All the restaurants atmosphere was excellent and service was good polite and friendly which made a friendly atmosphere.

The biggest downshift for me is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Tables are sticky, seats with old dried sauce stains. Foods are pricey but ok - rightly done but not salted/spiced, neither decorated to restaurant level. The service we got from the waiter is 5 stars- very attentive and entertaining, waiting times for food are super short.

It was my daughters 14th birthday not only did they accommodate my grandma but also gave her meal free as her previous meal was not what she liked, they also sang An amazing happy birthday to my daughter and had me laughing the whole Time amazing service thank you so much for making it so memorable for us.

Mark was absolutely amazing. Extremely charismatic, put us right at ease and had a good laugh with us. It’s our second time coming and he has been absolutely amazing both times. We look forward to coming back again.

We popped in here for lunch. Have not eaten here for a couple of years. It was midweek and the restaurant was very quiet. The two staff on duty were really friendly. Opted for calamari and a mushroom starter. Mains spaghetti carbonara and lasagne. Both hot and tasty.

Very tasty, I liked it. I will come back again. Mark especially liked it! It was wonderful.

Good food and great service by the waiter who made the evening entertaining for all the diners. We have a taste card so the food was 2 for 1 which made it good value also. The only downside was the cleanliness of the cutlery and glasses which we had to get changed.

An overall enjoyable meal however the tiramisu and the end was a big let down, especially as it's my favourite dessert! The restaurant was very quiet however hoping that was down to local festivals. The servers were fantastic.

The food was served quickly and was delicious. The drinks were super tasty we especially loved the fruit smash. All staff were lovely, especially mark. His humour, personality and charm shone through. Colleen was also lovely and another great staff member they are both an asset to your team

Lovely little restaurant. Food was lovely and one memberof staff stood out!... Mark is an exceptional server... he is funny, polite and extremely welcoming. I was in the worst mood when I arrived as my partner had been a miserable git.. but mark was hilarious from the minute I walked in... I will definitely come back if he's there!!! Excellent service, great food. A lovely evening had by our family.

Lovely bright room, very jolly host. Reasonable price,and not a long wait for the food. I had lasagne which was quite tasty but either the pasta or the mozzarella seemed rather chewy, not the best I have tasted but still good. My lemon cheesecake was delicious. My husband had Chicken Cacciatore and my grandson had pizza. Both were enjoyed, surplus was wrapped to take home with us. Overall a pleasant experience which will be repeated when we’re next in the area.

Our server was Mark and he was an absolute sweetheart, so funny and made our experience all the more enjoyable!!! (also he needs a pay rise ;) )

Took a friend who hadn't been before. Thoroughly enjoyed starters but sadly mains not so good. My friend had pepperoni pizza & wasn't impressed & my calzone was ok but not as full of filling so lot of empty crust that I didn't eat. Waiter was brilliant though & very attentive, he didn't charge for the pizza

Went for food here which was great, perfect for allergy options. We was sat quite close to the kitchen in which there was a lot of arguing and discussion happening between the chefs and the other staff. It was rather uncomfortable sat trying to have a meal with this in the background. One of the staff I believe her name was Lisa, was over heard on multiple occasions talking down to the young lads working in the kitchen. Overall think the staff could have kept whatever was going on until the end of the night, hats of the two young chefs who kept there cool.

We were welcome by 2 members of staff who were exceptionally caring, shown to our table, chatted with us before telling us about the menu. Service was amazing the the person in charge, Jodi I think they referred to her as came over before we let to make sure we had enjoyed our visit. All in all excellent throughout.

Came for my husbands birthday. Mark made it extra special! his customer service is outstanding! He’s a truly lovely man! Also young girl sorry don’t know her name. (Long dark hair) also gave great service!

Bella Italia Peterborough are so lucky to have a server like Mark. He goes above and beyond. He is kind and friendly. He went out of his way to help assist with a disabled women I was catering for. He spoke to her directly instead of through me, which made the young women feel seen and heard. I have met mark before and thought was an asset he is to the team.

Service was excellent but the quality of food served has really gone downhill since our last visit late last year.

3 course set menu, great choices and great prices

I had a wonderful experience here, the staff were all so friendly especially Mark who served me. The food came out very quickly and all piping hot tasting wonderful. I would highly recommend eating here.

Pleasant enough visit, food was nice. Dessert menu was very limited due to changing over a menu which was disappointing. I think in future if changing menus etc that it should be a complete swap rather than limiting what customers can have.
