The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Wales

1 hour late, had chow main, with prawns and chicken, well the prawns where in half, and the chicken was like mince chicken, couldn’t find it, very disappointed.

The food here recently has been amazing, we have ordered twice in the last month and couldn’t fault anything.

First time we’ve ordered from here , really enjoyed , had a special red curry fried rice and Singapore chow mein 👍

We live local and go to Bala New china takeaway, far superior and how it should be done. if I had a dog I wouldn’t feed anything from this takeaway to it, gave it 2 chances but as little as we order takeaway food, this is unedible.

To be honest the chips are like bricks and stale…and the mushroom chowmein is not like it use to be…and the curry sauce is very poor😟

After reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive about ordering. However we are so pleased we did. Enjoyed the food. Ordering was so easy with a very patient chap taking the order.( me having trouble finding my purse!!) Service pleasing and quick delivery so have no qualms about recommending Portfield Chinese Takeaway. Enjoyed the chicken chow mein and sweet & sour chicken with boiled rice. 10/10

bought chicken chow main, meal came completely bare, just noodles with no sauce, no vegetables, chicken cooked but with no sauce. Also ordered salt and pepper chicken, this also came with no seasoning, no salt or pepper added. Avoid the food at this place, my wife also not happy with her order. Feel robbed at £33 for no sauce or veg.

Quiet busy shop at Saturday , Chicken balls and Special Chow Mein noodles was very nice. Loves it !

Food was great, apart from the plain noodles were super spicy!! Checked the order in case I’d ordered Singapore chow mein (I hadn’t)

The person at the front was nice. Food was fast BUT the sweet N sour sauce was lumpy and an off smell. The chips were small portion compared to rice was like 30-70 not like I wanted more as they were dry and felt old. Chicken balls tasted like McDonald's Chicken nuggets and the rice was all clumped and moist. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Duck and chestnuts were really tender, as were the ribs. Owner was very sweet and attentive

The chips were awful ,the rissoles were very dry , the curry was to runny and the chicken omelette was more like scrambled egg , last time I’ll order from here again , very disappointed with the meal

sadly it seems that trying to save money the takeaway is skimping on ingredients - the vegetable sweet & sour was mainly sauce, the chow mein overcooked noodles [pre cooked perhaps] and little else sadly all a bit flavourless
