First time we’ve ordered from here , really enjoyed , had a special red curry fried rice and Singapore chow mein 👍

I absolutely adore this Chinese really good food, everything. However what is going on with their info on here. Don't know if it's every Sunday but they aren't open right now (Sun May 19th). As my partner just went over to check (Somthing past 7). Gutted didn't really wanna order from anywhere else. Not a big fan of info not being right online. As we specifically checked before my partner even left the house. Online for today between 5pm & 10pm it says it's supposedly open. But they weren't when my partner went there.

The best Chinese in Neath, I have been a customer for over 25 years and I wouldn't ever go to a different Chinese takeaway. Absolutely excellent, every time 👍👍

Well I’m not one to normally complain but after waiting over an hour for my food which I can expect on busy times, the food come in a box not a heated bag that most food places use, The food was colder then my beer , Which all the family could not eat, so after phoning them again to express my feelings they offered a refund or replacement, I did not want to wait any longer for them so sort out and expect the same problem so went for a refund to end the matter, but when the guy turns up with £15 after spending £45 with them, I think it’s an absolutely Cheek , I will never use this place again and warn everyone to not use them as you will be disappointed like us , I will be calling there tomorrow to return the food as not even the diver wanted to take it back . What a load of rubbish…………….

Walked in ttere by mistake looking for one of their competitors but decided to take a chance. I've lived all over and this is with out doubt the best Chinese red curry in South Wales. Trust me. You cannot go wrong with this shop.

Ready to collect in 10 minutes. Didn't enjoy meal at all. Had a strong fishy odour to it so ended up in food bin

Take the 13 reviews on here with a pinch of salt if I was you.. This place has served thousands customers over the past 20 years. I have even seen police officers order their food from this restaurant over the years so thats got to be a good sign:-) I have ordered food from here hundreds of times, never had a bad meal, always very good and very consistent. Thank you Central House for serving the people of Neath for the past 20 years and please keep up the great work. I appreciate your restaurant and your efforts:-) Definitely the oldest and the best Chinese in Neath.

Worst Chinese meal ever! Bland and chewy and worst of all the meat tasted off. Wouldn't serve it to my dog.

5* ain't night enough this is the best Chinese take away ever ..the food is the best the staff are the nicest friendly I will be a regular with out a doubt most highly recommended

I hadn't been to Central House for a long time but started having our takeaways from there a few months back and I have to say the food has been beautiful everytime we have ordered. Always piping hot and delivered quickly. All the staff very friendly too. Thank you central!

Friendly staff, food excellent. Have had no problems with deliveries, food always hot when delivered and plenty of it.

Had 2 take aways from there recently (May & June) as my usual was closed, food was cracking in all fairness. Definitely order from there again!

Rest assured I am a Chinese connoisseur, well I think I am. The owners are very friendly & always happy to alter the dishes to ones preference. The food is always cooked fresh to order & always hot, this is a must. Food is always delicious to taste & never ever greasy. The shop front is dated but don’t let this put you off. I have eaten at many a fantastic looking places & the food is a joke.

Excellent food and friendly service. Very accommodating too, as they make a special recipe on request for me: salt and pepper pork balls. You can’t get them anywhere else, delicious!

Used to be the best takeaway food in town, it's still good but not consistent.

I ordered food recently, never again. Never been so ill, knew it tasted 'off. Not the first time I've had dodgy food from there, won't be ordering from them again.

By far the best in the neath area,we live in tonna and have been going here for well over a year,my son loves the crispy chicken in contonese sauce,the chicken curry is stunning! best ever,i love it,dont go anywhere else,this is the best,we always order here,i wont go anywhere else now,superfast delivery as well,well done central,you are the best!

i have grown up eating food from here, i dont live in neath anymore but whenever i am there i get a take away, food is allways the same, really enjoyed my food tonight best chinese around and believe me i am a fussy one plus i am a chef, cant wait for my next one

Had a chinese from here a few weeks ago and the food, was okay, the most edible I've found near my home in Glynneath. Upon collecting that order, they were asked if they would deliver to my home address, and the reply was yes - as expected. Tonight, they first said they were too busy, then that they could do it and it would be £10, then suddenly, then couldn't do it at all and if they were to do it, it would be at least 2 hours and a sum of £15 had to be paid for delivery for the mere distance of 6 miles. Needless to say, I will not be visiting again.

The food is always great, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and delivery service is always good. Central is always my first choice. :-)

Allways excellent food & service, been using them for years and never had the slightest complaint. Also worked on their kitchen equipment & the kitchen is Clean.

Among the best Chinese's in Neath town. Have been going here for roughly 10 years and always the same quality of food, wonderful.

Good value for money. Food good, quick service. Although u go here often, I do prefer others.staff friendly, welcoming. Deleivery service a little but over average but as petrol going up. Menu okaa, they do snack meals, meals for 1,2,3

Fast delivery and really enjoyed the food and plenty of it, we had the set meal for 3 and there was more than enough for 3 of us

Initially pleased because service was fast. Then I realised it was probably fast because of the poor quality. Had crispy beef which was basically deep fried batter and 90% veg, Cantonese style beef which was chewy and, again, 90% veg, and my brother had Singapore noodles, which were thick chewy noodles with a small amount of beef, not what Singapore noodles are supposed to be. The sides were terrible I could have made better myself. Prawn crackers were like eating a spoonful of grease, chips were rubbish, rice was tasteless. So overall, terrible. Will never be using this takeaway again.

Food was bland. Free poppadom burnt. Tasteless waste of money had set meal for two loads of quantity but couldnot eat it. Never again.

We have been using central house for over 20 years. It never fails to deliver service that is second to none. Food is always of a very high standard and I hope they keep up the execellence for at least another 20 years or more. Thank you Central House.
