Ming Kee Chinese in Neath Port Talbot

Best Chinese I have had in years. Freshly cooked, full of flavour. Large portions. But they don't take card payment

Amazing local Chinese food. I ordered prawns in satay sauce, rice, and ribs. Food took ten mins from ordering till when I had to pick it up. With my family's order and mine it came to 35 pounds which is great value for money. Food was fresh , prawns were perfect and didn't taste frozen or over cooked. I have always had a great experience when visiting this take away. Would highly recommend.

Very nice. Chilli and salt prawn and chilli and salt lamb were very good and the Singapore Vermicelli was the best we have had in a while. Excellent

Been going here for years but tonight is the worst food I have ever received actually binned the lot as don’t believe it fit for human consumption.

Not bad selection, could do with a choice of boxed meals like Hing Tae does.

Really disappointed this time unfortunately some food was burnt and dried out some was cold but all tasted bland. Real shame as last time was the best chinese I ever had to date.

To start with I'll just say great food. It's cash only and you have to ring them directly for delivery or go in. We went in and the staff are helpful and friendly and the food came out quickly. The food was hot and really tasty, special curry and the sweet and sour chicken balls were especially good. No complaints on price. A good takeaway we'll be back. Thanks.

This is my local takeaway and I use it about 5/6 times a year. Prices have crept up, not surprisingly with the cost of everything, but I still think it's worth it. The staff are helpful, delivery always earlier than the quoted 45 minutes, and the food is always tasty, well-seasoned and warm on arrival. Nothing not to like. Food hygiene rating 4/5. Winner

Great food but this is the 21st century and they won't take payments over the phone only cash on delivery! It must cost them a fortune in lost orders.

Absolutely brilliant Chinese, best in the area by far i can speak from living in citys, I've tried every other Chinese in Ystradgynlais and they are sadly disappointing compared to Ming kee, food spot on, always arrives in good standard, good price for portions,friendly customer service and great cheifs.

Very fast & friendly service. Usual selection of dishes. Crispy beef in Cantonese sauce - very crispy, good beef taste. Not overpowering hot until you eat a chili! Crispy seaweed - one of the best. Not greasy, very flavourful. Wantons - not as many as I'd like but fat (large) and full of filling. Sweet & sour sauce is a bit sour than what I'm used to but still nice.

Ordered a delivery whilst staying local on a vacation. Ordered a dish slightly different to what was on the menu with no fuss from the restaurant. Order arrived slightly earlier then the 45 minute time advised. Food was fresh, hot and tasted great, would highly recommend and might have to order again before we finish our stay.

Genuinely cant fault this takeaway, great fresh quality and good value for money. Only negative hard to get through on phones during busy periods and delivery can take a while. But definitely worth the wait.

My go to Chinese, the best quality and value for money in the local area. If you call from you home number they have your details on file and usually your order history. Very rare do they get anything in the order wrong but if they do they are always accommodating and have either brought new/missing items or added discount to the next order. Keep up the good cooking Ming!

This is our regular Chinese and it’s always lovely! The delivery is fast and the people who deliver the food are always nice and polite. Would definitely recommend this place!

When my son ordered chicken with garlic and I ordered chicken with ginger and spring onions we didn’t expect more than half the carton to be filled with boiled onions followed by boiled chicken. The meal was tasteless and a huge disappointment. If I could have warranted a nil score then I would. Absolute rip off and they give Chinese food a huge disservice. Shame on you.

I usually give a food outlet at least 2 or 3 tries before I post a review. I found the food from Ming Kee was so bad that I really really don't want to try it a 2nd time! Ordered by phone, lovely staff to speak to. Quick delivery by friendly driver. Prices fair for what I'd ordered. The only thing that was wrong was the most important thing - the food. I'd ordered 2 separate main dishes & extras, the main dishes tasted awful, one tasted like the smell of pipe tobacco. It all went in the bin after a couple of forkfuls. I'm rating down on 'service' due to cook who can't. I'm rating down on 'value for money' as it's bad value for money if it all ends up in the bin. My order from this outlet was informed by its current food hygiene rating of 4/5, (Good).

Amazing food. Always nice and hot when delivered. Very happy this is our local Chinese restaurant. Never made a mistake with our order. Plenty of food in their portions. Don't be put off by their hygiene rating. This definitely needs to be reviewed.

The food is good and the service excellent. Any issues always rectified straight away, (such as wrong sauce delivered). Best Chinese in the area.
